I can't boot any sense magldr rom from sd. I choose "run ad sd rom", it loads kernel and other things but after 10 min at splash screen, start loading my nand rom (icecreamtosti 0.11). I've tried other microsd, format microsd, wipe27 reinstall magldr, change rel_path in startup.txt. But if I install on sd android 4.0 rom (witch using portadroid ultimate) it boots correctly.
I'm very sorry for my English.
Hope I described my problem clearly.

ok,
so MAGLDR can't load via startup.txt and haret, so is it possible to take a current SD rom and make it bootable via MAGLDR?
Or do we have to wait till the ROM chefs make compatible SD roms or till MAGLDR can boot via instructions in startup.txt?
We have to wait, only magldr compatible roms can be booted from sd.

hi all, i would like to flash my wp7 back to android, my question is can i flash it using magldr 1.12?
is it using the usb flasher like magldr 1.11 to flash back to android?
or we must flash the magldr back to 1.11 then only we can flash back to android rom?
thank.
you can have windows phone 7 and android on your magldr 1.12, and you can choose either one to use, yes you can just usb flash just like you did in 1.11, and you will have wp7 and android on your phone.. you just choose which too boot into

you can do it via 1.12, its exactly the same process as you did to flash android in the first place

No you cannot dual boot between Android and WP7, if you flash Android through Magldr (option 5 on Magldr 1.12) then it will erase WP7 from NAND. You will also have to refomat your sd card using an sd card formatter such as the one *HERE*, then change Format Size Adjustment to ON otherwise it will only format your card with 200MB no matter what size it is.
Mark.

Well you can dual boot WP7 and Android but only if you boot Android from SD while WP7 is on NAND.
So ive looked around but can't find any threads that help me with this (please point me to some if there are!)
So i tried to flash my HD2 with this version of Android:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649
I followed all the instructions to the letter (well, at least i think i did), and then after installing it in MAGLDR it says that it was successful. However, when i try to start it up, it boots to the white screen with the green HTC logo, and just stays there.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Have you flashed HSPL, and CWM with the appropriate partition size for this ROM? Since it's a Desire HD ROM, I'd imagine it takes a 400mb system partition.
Also have you flashed a compatible radio (XX.X.50.XX)?
How long did you wait for it to boot up?
Some of these ROMs can take up to 20 mins or more on their first boot.
How long have you left it to boot up? 15 mins is the max time.
If after 15 mins and it still doesnt boot, try reflash the cwm partition (the clockwork recovery image/CWM) he has in his thread, and then from the CWM, flash the rom again.

I have put on HSPL and the 400mb CWM partition
It has Radio version 2.15.50.14
Ive given it well over 30 minutes to work and it still stays on the same screen.
What method did you use to transfer the ROM .zip to your sd card?
Using MAGLDR's USB Mass Storage function sometimes corrupts files.
If you used this, then try either using an sd card reader, another device with USB mass storage functionality, or use CWM to transfer the files from your pc to your sd card.
Other than that, I dunno. Sounds like everything else is right
Clean Install
Do you use Task29?
Clean Install:
1. Use Task29 (1 or 2 times)
2. Download everything you need again (could be you have a bad download)
3. Flash a Radio Rom of your choice
4. Flash MAGLDR 1.13 or cLK bootloader (cLK is more native)
5. Flash clockworkmod recovery via MAGLDR USB Flasher
6. (partitionate your SD card if needed)
7. Transfer your ROM-Zip via clockworkmod in Mounts and Storeage(mount USB-Storeage)
8. Flash a Rom of your choice
That´s it. Hope you next try is a success.

Hi,
Have you flashed ClockworkMod. If you have, is the partition size right?
Im not aware if i installed the ClockworkMod.
How do i find this out or do you have a manual?
When can if find the partition size?
If you mean the magldr partition size than this is 120 mb.
The size of my sd card is 4GB.

In the MAGLDR menu, go to option 8. AD recovery. Tell me if it boots up. If it doesnt and shows an error, you donot have ClockworkMod. Check this now and we'll procede furthur
Yes i have the ClockworkMod installed.
The option "8. AD recovery" is working because this is the way how i installed the android.
- i used the option: ïnstall zip from sd card.

So the roms you have tried are not working. The cause maybe that you have flashed the wrong partition. Which Rom have you tried?
I have tryed the folowing roms:
Android GBLeoR6.1
Sense_2.1_Lite_1.1
Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ SensationXL
I found them in the folowing post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1336700
Don't know the diference or which one is the best.
Do you got any suggestions?

These roms are quite heavy. If they dont work then you probably have a 150mb partition with CWM. I suggest this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769026
And before installation by "install zip from sd card" Folow these steps
1. Select "wipe date/factory rest". Wipe your phone. This will clear your internal memory NOT your sd card.
2. Select "wipe cache partition". Wipe it
3. Go to advanced > wipe dalvik cache > wipe it
4. Mount your phone using the mount feature in CWM
5. Copy the rom into the root of your sd card
6. Install it via "install zip from sd card"
7. Reboot. Allow 20 minutes MAX for boot
Tell me how it goes. Always here to help

If you want to run these roms, U need a partition of 250 MB. You probably have less than this, thats why its not booting
Well, I did everything you sayed but after waiting a half hour it's still stuck on the andriod boot screen.
why
A wait: I will try a bigger partition.
Where can i change this? At the "HD2 Android NAND Toolkit" i asume.

Then i guesd that maybe your partition is messed up. Run task29 and do it over again. And yes partition the internal memory via NAND toolkit

Use whichever partition is stated in the OP of whichever ROM you're trying to use. Too small a partition means that the ROM won't boot. You can either change this via the HD2 NAND Toolkit or by downloading CWM, opening the file 'flash.cfg' with notepad, editing system ya to whatever value your ROM states it should be and flashing with DAF.exe.
Ok, I changed the partitions size to 445 MB at Magldr (in the "HD2 Android NAND Toolkit"). Flashed the Magldr again. Restart the phone so the android loads again but he is still not booting.
Flashed android again but stil no luck.

CotullaHSPL 0x40

Install windows mobile 6.5. Go to settings and search for software or system information. Look for radio version. If its not booting, its probably likely you dont have the correct radio installed.

O DARN!, i thought i almost had it.....well give me time, i need to think...Dont worry someone will figure it out for you
(check 2.08.HSPL)+ Task29 + install radio rom + install magldr + install Recovery (5/200/5 etc.. it depends on your android ROM properties) + Android ROM
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14;
http://www.mediafire.com/?1th8o158r2t6dba
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1; ( contains task 29, magldr and recovery and also HSPL)
http://www.mediafire.com/?2qz0xa7xfxney47
And true Android ROM for your HTC HD2 (TMOUS or EU)
Well i already did that like 3 times. With the toolkit. The radio + task 29 + magldr + HSPL are already installed and working.
I will try the TMOUS or EU rom.
Sequence have to apply exactly that i said. and you already did it.
what is your ROM? Did you do recovery? Did you do proper partition in your sdcard like EXT3 or EXT4?
I'm new to NativeSD ROMs and used NAND before with MAGLDR. I've got a Samsung Class10 32GB SD CARD with which I created a 2 GB FAT32 partition and a 1 GB EXT4 partition on my card using MiniTool. Tried installing Tytung's NexusHD2-JellyBean-4.1.2-CM10 V1.3a ROM using AD Recovery option of MAGLDR. This launches the AROMA installer and I select the NativeSD option. The installation completes and I change the boot settings in MAGLDR and select the 'NATIVESD' folder. After rebooting the MAGLDR loads up as usual and tries booting from the SD card and everything goes fine until the phone gets stuck at the white HTC logo screen again!?? What am I doing wrong here?
This may be irrelevant for you, but when I was on cLK I used to have the same issue. Everything installed just fine, but at the end, I got stuck at the HTC bootscreen each time.
It turned out to be the recovery, I was on CWM. When I switched to 4EXT everything worked fine. I don't know how the recovery can affect the boot of a ROM. Anyway, try to change your recovery to 4EXT and reinstall the ROM.
