I started to take my Xperia apart and remove the old digitizer.
So now my Xperia is in 100 pieces lol.

It's what you call the "Glass"
the part you touch to make gestures

So I Know everyone has seen the red frame near the battery door, but I decided to swap the back cover completely with a white evo.
I think it looks awesome, but it was a pain to get the little metal connectors off the black housing and onto the white.

One of my coworkers did the same with their Evo, looks pretty awesome.
The white housing's paint can also be easily scratched off to make it red. The white battery cover isn't paint though so it stays white.

Try calling a sprint repair store and ask to see if they will change at no cost. I know some stores will do that of they have the parts

Doubt it cuz the frosting would inhibit the function of the sensors. This is probably a dummy display model photographed by the graphic designers for the image.

I glanced over at the sprint forum and folks are enraged that the Oct 25th release is actually just online & telephone order, and the device wont ship for about 4-10 days. I want the device but not that bad to throw a childish tantrum like a 6yo.
Yeah its a cool phone but it wont change my life it wont give me a raise and it's more important things to concern your self that unboxing on the 25th. Are women gonna give me a cell number and say call me I like your phone.. NO...that's what the Yamaha r1 and Mercedes is for..lmao.
3 additional phones will be dropping in the first quarter so I can still wait. Some of you are in need of a new phone since that evo might be on its last leg. My evo works fine and thanks for development of cool roms to keep me busy.
So for me its still no rush, cause the evo works , I rather wait for the kinks to get ironed out.. and I want gameloft MC4 working out the gate.. none of that device is not compatible crap....

I had my screen glass broken down upto about 60% of the screen glass the screen itself is ok . But the touch works in the nonbroken area.
What should I replace?

Complete assembly. You will lose responsiveness if you replace digitizer only as I did on my galaxy s3. OEM assembly is $128 shipped on ebaym
