[Q] Acer S200 , plz help - neoTouch S200 General

my cellphone is acer neotouch s200, i am suffering from
1- battery do not complete one day, although i didn 't complete what equal 1 hr talking. i have bought a new battery, but still have the same problem.
2- i have contacted the service provider for the cellular for setup the internet connections but the mobile can not receive the Message of setup. otherwise setting the MMS for not rejecting the anynome message.
so anybody can help me for solving these problems

I have a crazy problem with the pda SB X01HT
The device find and connect it by wifi to the router network, but ... in the connections panel there is not any possibility to use the wireless network.
I think that I lost or cancel the driver that manage the connection or that in the register there is a wrong instruction.
My big problem is that I bought the pda in thailand 1 month ago , in the box was only instructions and sw in jap language that I don't know, I was happy of my purchase, some days after I was in Vietnam, by wifi and skype I was online with my family easily 1 hour each day.
Now if I don't find the solution I have to wait my next trip to thailand in march to solve with tech service my problem.
I hope to find by any, the email address of softbank to ask them how solve my problem now
Or may be that somebody have the original SB register list that I can use to check if all it is right?

before you contact softbank, you should understand softbank does not export x01ht, does not sell unlocked phones or does not sell x01ht with english windows mobile 5.0. they only sell x01ht with a mobile phone contract.
if your device is unlocked or has english windows mobile 5.0 or you do not have a contract with softbank, it was sold either as an invalid second hand or as a result of fraud.
if you told softbank that you got your device in thailand, it was unlocked or had english windows, i am 100% positive they would not help you. also, softbank warranty is good only in japan. *hint hint*
you should talk with the person from who you bought your device...
hard reset first to check if it's really broken.
by the way, it's hard to understand what is really a problem with your wifi setting... wifi connection is not in connections but in WiFi (Wiress LAN?) in my control panel...

Crazy is that I had make the hard reset because the browser ie was work just with umts/gprs when skype was working perfectly by using of wifi - after the hard reset even skype stop to work.
may be that you can help me? to send me the register list to check?

i did not mean hardreset by pushing the reset button. please read here;

i wanna help you, but i don't understand what you are really looking for... what do you mean by "the register list to check"? registry? if so, which key of the registry do you need?

with the link that you sent me I find the reply to some questions:
My ppc is branded SB but inside there is the tytn english sw, the extended ROM contain the: HTC TyTN 1.18.255.106 ExtROM WWE
I had hard reset but nothing change!
The NETWORK MANAGER show me that the tytn is CONNECT to wifi but in the CONNECTIONS always appear no any presence of WIRELESS SERVICES that I can use to browse my server , internet and/or skype
Really I don't unterstand what's happen!
with this now what you think about?
may be that there are corrupted files that avoid to install few commands?

i have my tytn 1 WM 5 for about 6 month now, and since then i have this problem,the calls either incoming or outgoing disconnet most the time
its rare if a phone call didnt disconnect
when i asked my tytn provider by the phone he said its propably from the network it self.
i called the network provider "vodaphone" they introduced 3G broadband to their service recently here in egypt, and they said they cant find any problem and i should change the mobile as a test to see if that will happen also.
but i have my suspesion about that " U " icon and the "G" one
i feel its related to them as mostly they seem to be changing from one to another during the disconnection, i dont know if during the call or befor it ir what .. or may be im mistaken !
i dont know what to do
format my tytn ? i did that and didnt help
change the mobile to another 3G mobile to test the network ?
call my HTC provider again ?

i asked the HTC provider for WM 6 thinking that the new software might solve that problem ,but they don't have it
i said but on the net there is alot of WM 6 for tytn , they said its for Urope version not here

change your Windows from 5 to 6 use TNT.SE, this was made by on of owr own proud guys, i really recommend it as it might help you in solving your issues.

Htc p3400 sim problem....

Most of the times i am not able to send or recieve sms and sometimes its giving a warning wait for 15 seconds phone is not ready, it comes per day atleast 5 times, and then no signal for some time.
If i restart this is the message
Your current settings do not match with the active network in use. You may not be able to access all network services until this is corrected. Apply correct network settings now?
Your current operator (40441) is not supported. You should obtain an update from your device vendor. Would you like to select another network provider?
Then its searching and tells its not there and ask to choose other network.
I am in chennai and using aircel prepaid.
Well i changed to Airtel its the same. but since airtel was in the network setting it dint show any error, but its still same. it will hang.
Now i tried vodafone, its perfectly working, i enabled the gprs, everything is fine. Just want to know wats the problem and how to rectify. And to work it on all networks. Its in warranty.
Sorry: i dont know where to post so i made a new thread. Please help.

Me too had the same problem, Am using Airtel (Chennai). First when i newly bought this phone (HTC) iam not able to send messages properly. also i cant able to receive calls properly. After that i came to know that there's a compactibility problem with airtel and HTC. Temporarily they provide a software for this problem, we can update this software in authorized service centers. I updated the software, after updation the call problems are solved fully, also message problem was reduced... but still am not satisfied with the messaging service. The service person said they working on providing a permanent solution, so soon we can expect the software upgrade which solves this problem permanently, except the messaging service the phone is good ! thanks !

Urgent Help: Xperia sends multiple Text SMS

I am using Sony Xepira ( Middle -East) black & while sending text msg, receipient get same 2-4msgs....which cause problems? & my bills gets charged unfortunately.. Can someone help me with the urgent solution?
it's possible to be from your network , so it gives "unsent" status to your phone , and the phone tryes to send it again , and again until it receives "sent" from your network.
This might be a solution , i am not shure of it.
Dear it's nothing related to my network, beacuse when I remove the SIM from my X1 & insert it in another mobile and it works perfect ..
I went to my network provider & we made the testing , it's from the X1 mobile..it might be software problem ...not only my mobile but few friends of mine are facing the same issue...
Can anyone help me with this issue?

I too have similar issues only using my X1 and would be keen to understand this as my provider is also saying they cannot see a problem in the network and it only happens with the X1.

It's not a network provider problem, it's something related to the X1
You could either try a hard reset, perhaps you installed something wrong.
If that doesn't work, you could go a step further and flash it - but I'm not sure if that is what you want to do
The final option is always returning it to the factory, asking a new one.
some of my old phones done this when i went holiday to cyprus.
never knew a solution
