Description:
What Exactly is Beats Audio, Anyway?
Undoubtedly, everybody who is reading this at some point has heard of Beats Audio or Beats by Dre headphones. The brand of course started as headphones, and then added Beats Audio that could be found in certain HP laptops and desktops, and more recently the Beats Audio “technology” has been added to the HP tablet and will be included in upcoming HTC mobile phone handsets. But the question is, besides a bunch of hype and a red “b” sticker, what (if anything) is Beats Audio?
I went to a shop and listened to a song.. and baaaammm Amazing!
So I want this usable on our phone. Thats the history behind this
I am not sure what this is supposed to do. But i don't feel any difference in the audio.

IT's suposed to "automagically" enhance your audio quality while using headphones.
Sounds good,I would try it out later

Its a sort of proprietary audio driver for beats hw
It is useless unless u hav a beats hw and framework
Hence it was removed by op
The change in audio quality is not real its fault of ears
yeah. When I wear beats, I can distinguish the difference from other headphones. Really awesome.
Thanks a lot! beatsbydrehub.org beats by dre
For users MIUI can raise the volume in the headphones using the DSK tool
At first, after I flash the app, it just sound normal to me, buat after I try to play the same song for the 2nd time, then i'll notice that the beat was nice

I noticed the Milestone/Droid running firmware 2.0.1 (or perhaps even later) has a equalizer app. What is it exactly and can it be ported to other devices? It would be awesome to have this Android wide (specifically on my Desire )

Won't install to Telus Hero
any way to install this app to HTC Hero I keep getting an error message saying this app cannot be installed on this phone.
testing on galaxy s *vibrant*
installs just fine on tmobile vibrant will test out
Thanks
no difference on my epic
it doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy spica
Installed to telus hero running 2.1
I think this app is incompatible with android 1.x it's minimum firmware requirements are 2.x, because I installed it no problem to my updated hero, it works but I can only hear a slight difference in the sound when changing eqs and the surround effects are very faint, it seems that a certain hack is required for it to actually work.

If you wants to litsen music with equaliz mode. then you can try Power Amp.....it's Great......
For it to work you need the Libaudioflinger.so from system/lib/ as far as I know, so you should try and see if it works after, but make a nandroid backup just in case it boot loops
Installed on my HTC EVO Shift. Seems to work. Will test in car tomorrow. Might just be a placebo effect.
Seems to work on my EVO Shift. Sound and volume much better.

Try searching. If I remember correct, someone said in an earlier thread that sony ericsson 2011 compatible headsets work with the x5.
I read somewhere that the best are those that comes with the phone. For me it has good sound quality

i have checked one sony headset , i dont know model but the sound was really good . hey but i can buy can any music player/ ipod earphones they work ( i have have tested few philips and sennheiser earphones in an electronic store ) .
i also want 2 tell u that there was one sennheiser earphones ( i dont remember model no ) around 20 -25 $ ( after converting in US$) . the sound was simply awsm( bass and everything perfect) . trust me u will throw the inbox earphones after listening to them , will definately tell u the model no the next time visit .
got it - its CX - 180 . go 4 it blindly .
Here we're talking about headsets, not headphones. There are tons of great headphones, many are Sennheiser... but they don't have a mic.
hi
my yusing sony xbr-30
I use a Sony ericsson MH-650. Much better audio quality than the stock headsets and all the other functionality works (mic, button).
anyone tried sony mh-750?
I just bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
I can connect my phone to Bluetooth but cannot skip tracks on my stereo unless I skip em on the phone. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix.

Bluetooth is simply playing the sound through your car. You will still need to use the Bluetooth device to change the music.

wow. im glad i saw this. i have a 2011 sonata as well. if you read in the manual that it does have AVRCP, IT DOES NOT! it was a misprint. tried like 5 dif phones, ALL were brand new. even tried with an iphone over BT. it was one of my biggest annoyances with the audio system.
what i did to at least make it a little bettter was this..

This won't help with anything... Everyone have different ears and they hear music different. Another thread just for spam... Maybe I could open thread about your camera setting, sound setting, internet setting, screen setting, keyboard setting, sync setting etc?

This is the best settings/mod/tweak you'll find.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Fi...t=US_Pro_Audio_Amplifiers&hash=item1c354f990c
The BEST settings for your music are based on your device/amp/headphones/inner ear/brain combination. Sharing them is as pointless as sharing YOUR favourite water temperature for taking a bath. But nevertheles proper eq settings are cruicial. To find them just use XenoAmp headphone calibration.
P.S. I'm using FiiO Mt Blanc + Phonak Audeo 232 + 38 years old ears (cleaned) + a slightly used brain.
Try this using any beats audio headphones or the stock sony earphones. No regrets at all.

Very reliable and easy to use!!!
Very impressed with this app!
Works great with my Nexus 5.
Have tried others in the past but they always turned out to be a pain in the butt.
No beep beep or any other type of sound lisning while recording.
No issues with recording, clear recording without any issues.
Easy to install and easy to use, no interference or echo in the playback.
It's good to know that it's reliable when you need it and don't have to worry if you recorded the call or not. I didn't really find any faults with the app and am very pleased. Since I am not as technically proficient as most people it's very good to know there is an app out there that's very easy to use and install.
Looking forward to upgrading to the premium version and getting great long term use from it.
Great job to the developers and programmers who provided the world with such a high quality-
Highly recommended!
I've yet, out of dozens to find ONE that works, 'cept an expensive one. Will try AND be back
Tried it. Does not work. With the call volume down, so the Mike can't pick the sound of the earpiece it records nothing at all. Rubbish

There's one in the app store that costs an arm and a leg, but free trial. That works and does not use the speaker to record. If I find it I'll repost.
Here you go. It's an xda product (by a Dev member) so it's good, tried to add a pic. I'll try underneath. It's called "call recorder!" has a green Mike logo

Yep, Call Recorder by Skvalex is the only app for our Nexus 5 that actually works, on KK and LP. It doesnt use microphone for record. Too bad premium version costs 9,99 !!!

Use boldbeast .Tried it just now .I'll stick with mine.it works. The one you suggest records of speaker go read the playstore description. There is only one line recorder. If there were more do you think it would cost do much? I used the beta, free and paid up as it's so good.
