I just bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
I can connect my phone to Bluetooth but cannot skip tracks on my stereo unless I skip em on the phone. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix.

Bluetooth is simply playing the sound through your car. You will still need to use the Bluetooth device to change the music.

wow. im glad i saw this. i have a 2011 sonata as well. if you read in the manual that it does have AVRCP, IT DOES NOT! it was a misprint. tried like 5 dif phones, ALL were brand new. even tried with an iphone over BT. it was one of my biggest annoyances with the audio system.
what i did to at least make it a little bettter was this..

Description:
What Exactly is Beats Audio, Anyway?
Undoubtedly, everybody who is reading this at some point has heard of Beats Audio or Beats by Dre headphones. The brand of course started as headphones, and then added Beats Audio that could be found in certain HP laptops and desktops, and more recently the Beats Audio “technology” has been added to the HP tablet and will be included in upcoming HTC mobile phone handsets. But the question is, besides a bunch of hype and a red “b” sticker, what (if anything) is Beats Audio?
I went to a shop and listened to a song.. and baaaammm Amazing!
So I want this usable on our phone. Thats the history behind this
I am not sure what this is supposed to do. But i don't feel any difference in the audio.

IT's suposed to "automagically" enhance your audio quality while using headphones.
Sounds good,I would try it out later

Its a sort of proprietary audio driver for beats hw
It is useless unless u hav a beats hw and framework
Hence it was removed by op
The change in audio quality is not real its fault of ears
yeah. When I wear beats, I can distinguish the difference from other headphones. Really awesome.
Thanks a lot! beatsbydrehub.org beats by dre
For users MIUI can raise the volume in the headphones using the DSK tool
At first, after I flash the app, it just sound normal to me, buat after I try to play the same song for the 2nd time, then i'll notice that the beat was nice

I have been thinking about re-naming my Nexus 7 ( Bluetooth, Play & PC) but I have really no idea what to name it..
I was hoping I could get some inspiration here
So what did you name your Nexus 7 on:
Play Store
Bluetooth
PC?
Screenshots included to further show what I mean.

Iffn it was me I'd use an old phone repurposed into a android media player. Our get a SanDisk Sansa Clip. I have a Clip, and I use my old Droid Charge as a media player.
I put my N7 in a fanny pack when I want it at the end of a hike/walk. But I have not tried running very far with it. Mine is more of a hiking pack, but there are packs aimed at runners, especially ultra-marathoners.
Current: Note 2 - Nexus 7 - Charge
Retired: Player 5.0 - Fascinate

Read twice, flash once
I don't recommend running with your nexus 7 because the larger screen is more likely to break if dropped. With that said I would think some kind of body strap would work best since it would probably be awkward and less secure to run with it on an arm. A silicon case with 2 hole and bungees going through it would probably be the best way to secure it to your body.
If you do decide to go running with your nexus 7 let us know how it went and how you secured it.
I'm 99.99% sure your N7's screen gonna break if it falls face down. So it's better not to run with it if you don't have a plan to get a new one...
Btw the best way to run with it might be to find a back pack like this

lol yup here too
It goes like this 'duun duun dundun dun dunnnnn dunn dun...' It's driving me mad. Someone must have had experienced this. So far... I played with xposed framework, a couple live wall paper apps most of which I uninstalled... A lot of modules... I cannot for the life of me imagine what is causing this looping music. It's this very young vibrant in touch with nature theme this music. Nonetheless, the fact i have no clue it's origin I'm kinda whiggin out here because I'm not going to turn the phone off until I figure out what it is. So.... anyone know or know of an app that can explain running processes or something? Or something built into android? Thanks. I'll be waiting with this maddening briskly moving nature beat...

Email app
Mine does the same thing, it is from the built in email app, if you get a new email it has a different sound, but each following email that comes in has a short ring type chime and if you get 5 emails in a row it will chime that many times, so if your getting a lot of junk mail/spam you'll get a lot of jingles..
That's what my issue is anyway, yours may be different, it sounded like a similar issue so i thought i'd share.
Hi!
I recently found an application called Runtastic Heart Rate In the Google play store.
It's almost like the S5 one but a little bit different because it uses the Camera and LED flash to measure your heart rate.
Here's a link to the app (free version) so you can try it out for your self!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runtastic.android.heartrate.lite
And here's the paid version wich offers more features!

You got to be really naive just to think it measures your heart beats with the camera and LED flash...
Really try to read a little bit more before you say that.

these apps work BUT the distance between led and camera on S4 is big so there is no / little accuracy.
I used one of these apps with S2 and worked fine

Yes when I use it I get like 95% accuracy
If you don't believe me you can use the app to see what you get.
After that go into the clock app and click on the stopwatch tab then click start. Count your puls for 15 sec and multiply it by 4!
Then you see how accurate this app is.

Smartphones can already detect blood oxygenation if you put the finger over the camera and let the LED light shine through the finger. It's mostly used for pulse. I've tested this out, and it does work quite accurately most of the time.
