Try searching. If I remember correct, someone said in an earlier thread that sony ericsson 2011 compatible headsets work with the x5.
I read somewhere that the best are those that comes with the phone. For me it has good sound quality

The MH-710 might work:
I think the logitech ultimate ears 200vi would be ok

i have checked one sony headset , i dont know model but the sound was really good . hey but i can buy can any music player/ ipod earphones they work ( i have have tested few philips and sennheiser earphones in an electronic store ) .
i also want 2 tell u that there was one sennheiser earphones ( i dont remember model no ) around 20 -25 $ ( after converting in US$) . the sound was simply awsm( bass and everything perfect) . trust me u will throw the inbox earphones after listening to them , will definately tell u the model no the next time visit .
got it - its CX - 180 . go 4 it blindly .
Here we're talking about headsets, not headphones. There are tons of great headphones, many are Sennheiser... but they don't have a mic.
hi
my yusing sony xbr-30
I use a Sony ericsson MH-650. Much better audio quality than the stock headsets and all the other functionality works (mic, button).
anyone tried sony mh-750?

Specifically the sound quality when streaming music. Wow is all I can say. I stream music to my motorcycle helmet (Chatterbox Xbi2) and have lots of listening experience with my Garmin Zumo GPS and my 3GS iPhoney. I must say that my i9000 kicks both their tales by a huge margin. I fidelity of the sound is fantastic, a tiny bit of base is lost but holy moly the rest is awesome. I'm not sure if it can attributed to BT 3.0 or what but I don't care, I am happy. Good job Samsung.
agree
i used to stream a lot of BT using previous phone, but the BASE on the i9000 is almost intact even after streaming

Yay. Finally something nice to say about sgs. Mind you we are the only phone with bluetooth 3.0 out so far. Nice
Typed with bloodied fingers on a Apple Newton 2100. Hail Fuhrer Jobs!
Bluetooth streaming in BMW
I have an Iphone 4 and a SGS and except for the stuttering on my radio. (which the iphone 4 doesnt do) the sound is really really good and is MUCH better than iphone 4 streaming quality. I am very pleased with the quality. I believe Froyo will fix it. . Still cant dial out using Bluetooth on SGS
there are tricks to dial out using BT
and it will depend on your headset or the car deck function keys
or voice activation key

Is it then worthwhile to buy a BT headset?
I mean, will the sound quality of a good BT headset, be as good as a wired headset? And wich one?
I have no idea...
I've been an avid fan of Samsung's Yepp line of MP3 players. They have some of the best quality audio output on the market. WAY WAY WAY better than iPod's.
It's not surprising to see their know-how transfer over to their high-end Galaxy line.

I haven't tried a household bluetooth headset but if the quality is the same as my helmet one I would consider it over a corded version if the circumstance required it. I'm interested in trying out a bunch now just to see.

Supercurio has developed an app for headset sound amplification.
EDIT : the app is released in the market. Another call for the kernel developers to include this
https://github.com/project-voodoo/mc1n2_voodoo
Here is the twitter request to include it in the kernel for users to enjoy his app.

agree on that.
I find that the headset sound is too weak when I am outside doing phone calls.
Main thing for me was the speaker sound .
This is not getting any louder

just need a kernel that can support it
Edit : Works with stock kernel
I'm using it already on stock ROM and kernal and it's great. Will try it out later on some better headphones.

Works on a Note as it comes out of the box?
Believe it or not but i've been holding back on the purchase of the Note till this app got released.
Coming from iOS were everything works fine out of the box (fine if you liked the late Steve vision) i'm wondering if i can get this app working on a Galaxy Note with the stock firmware that it carries out of the box.
All this kernel and rom stuff sounds a bit alien to me and it would be great if i could enjoy the Note without knowing a damn thing about these tweaks. I guess i'm getting old and i no longer enjoy spending time in front of a screen tinkering with the OS.
Found this while going through the XDA AT&T galaxy note forum.. Had to make sure my fellow streaker's still hanging around take advantage of this!!

Description:
What Exactly is Beats Audio, Anyway?
Undoubtedly, everybody who is reading this at some point has heard of Beats Audio or Beats by Dre headphones. The brand of course started as headphones, and then added Beats Audio that could be found in certain HP laptops and desktops, and more recently the Beats Audio “technology” has been added to the HP tablet and will be included in upcoming HTC mobile phone handsets. But the question is, besides a bunch of hype and a red “b” sticker, what (if anything) is Beats Audio?
I went to a shop and listened to a song.. and baaaammm Amazing!
So I want this usable on our phone. Thats the history behind this
I am not sure what this is supposed to do. But i don't feel any difference in the audio.

IT's suposed to "automagically" enhance your audio quality while using headphones.
Sounds good,I would try it out later

Its a sort of proprietary audio driver for beats hw
It is useless unless u hav a beats hw and framework
Hence it was removed by op
The change in audio quality is not real its fault of ears
yeah. When I wear beats, I can distinguish the difference from other headphones. Really awesome.
Thanks a lot! beatsbydrehub.org beats by dre
For users MIUI can raise the volume in the headphones using the DSK tool
At first, after I flash the app, it just sound normal to me, buat after I try to play the same song for the 2nd time, then i'll notice that the beat was nice

This is the best settings/mod/tweak you'll find.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Fi...t=US_Pro_Audio_Amplifiers&hash=item1c354f990c
The BEST settings for your music are based on your device/amp/headphones/inner ear/brain combination. Sharing them is as pointless as sharing YOUR favourite water temperature for taking a bath. But nevertheles proper eq settings are cruicial. To find them just use XenoAmp headphone calibration.
P.S. I'm using FiiO Mt Blanc + Phonak Audeo 232 + 38 years old ears (cleaned) + a slightly used brain.
Try this using any beats audio headphones or the stock sony earphones. No regrets at all.

Well, it is X1 plus not Q1 plus so it is new to the forum as far as I can see.

Download MTK engineering shortcut from play store and check out if you can boost the sound. Be careful though - it's tempting to mess around with other settings - but don't
