If you don't need a keyboard the Polaris is a wicked phone...or maybe a shift if your ballin' out of control.

The Shift is not a phone.. it's like 7+ inches long and is a UMPC...but the Advantage is considered a phone and still fits in a pant pocket..unless it's a guy that's wearing those stupid brand new super tight & tapered wussie looking girlies pants they try to sell in the men'sdept stores that have no pocket space at all.. but if you're wearing like Rockawear or whatever..then they might fit in the pocket.. hehe btw... the next gen of Advantage is coming out... the Enhanced Advantage X7510
Why did you sell the Herald before getting your next phone lined up??
What are you looking for in your phone?? another pda phone? or just a smart/multimedia phone? something flashy or something powerful? with or without FM radio? blablablablablabla.... give us some more info on what you want! Do you need 3G? or 3.5G? or too poor to afford it lot a lot of other people hehe.

or Sedna... or do you if you liked your P4350.. go for a Panda(cool name hehe for p6300) or TyTn II

It's very interesting

yea I think so. As I said, this device is perfect. Put a flag, Go away, and the device say how much meters you are from here. Just amazing. Our HD2 gps is very accurate, and it will works like a charm, combined with the compass. WOW.

GPS Tuner does all that plus a lot more

I know it, but the Bushnell interface is more intuitive, and simple. Trust me, this is just perfect, and the clean interface is wonderfull. Maybe someone can help me to realize my dream?
A special application with the exact interface of the Bushnell Backtrack..

But I thik GPS Tuner is not a freeware.

[IDEA/QUESTION] Porting Gingerbread from new Xperia Mini

Sony Ericsson announced successor of Xperia Mini and Mini Pro.
These two phones will come with gingerbread on it...
So, could it be possible to port ROM's from these phones to our X8?
I'm aware of hardware differences but both are Xperia...
And it's so dammmmmmmn beautifullll...

From what it looks like, it will be based on a new arm cpu, which is not compatible with msm7227, so it will be very difficult to port its os to mini/x8 phones.

The only thing I'm waiting for is that tasty four corner launcher. Mmmmmmm...

Yeah, me too, but if it will be like the old one, with one widget per homescreen, it's just as pointless as the old version... Besides, want folders? Use GO launcher

GO launcher is laggy and drains battery fast, also app drawer isn't transparent anymore.

Bad calibrating betwen screen and mali 400 gpu.
If you run on ics officiel you will pick ¨screen adjuster¨ on playstore and setup contrast to around 25

Yes , but screen gets more noise and lighter than before ( i want it more darker and clear to watch movies )

yes -25 bro ,my mistake.
If you want lighter you will use system brightness on screen adjuster.

i had similar problem but ended up being dead pixel. got it exchanged under warranty

Absolute agree to this. What about having the phone on the table and typing, browsing.
I hope it is just an experiment and it's gonna be revised on the 9 series.
