Hello. I have 2 battery's for my defy+. They are both the same mah. My problem is that if I charge one battery to 100% then change to the other battery and charge that to 100% when I then put my first battery in it will only charge to 84 %. I have tried battery calibration and wipeing battery stats.. I'm running white rabbit 1.3 atm..
Hope that someone can understand what I mean

the 84% charging bug is because of the software inside your phone, not the battery
most custom ROMs for the defy+ charge only upto 84%( except CM7 with a patch made by AL). The rest don't charge upto 100%.. Go for MSGinger or Stock ROM

Because so many people have problems with their battery, I write my experiences here. If you have flashed a new ROM, completely charge the phone while using the app battery calibration witch you can download from the market. If the phone indicates that it is fully charged, see how many millivolts indicates that must be between 4150 and 4200 millivolts. If the indicator says 100% and but it haven't reeched the millivolts mentioned earlier then let it charge for a bit longer. Then press Calibrate, close the app and unplug the phone. After calibrate with battery calibration it's essencial do a full discharge, and next full charge till 100% again
The first few charging cycles may not be ok but it will get ok after 3 or 4 charging cycles. If it is not ok after the 3/4 cycles maybe your battery is really dead and you have to buy a new one.
Don't wipe batt statts or change kernel because it won't do the trick and you may think that your battery is dead.
good luck!
Alternative method: charge till indicator says its 100%, then boot into cwm(DONT UNPLUG!!), wait about 10 minutes, then wipe batt stats and reboot.
Ps. Good guide btw
Cheers

i agree, but the most important is that you have to wait a few days for the indicator is accurate again.

nyc guide .....you can try one more thing ..shut down you phone and let it charge to 100% and when it s done go boot it up and let it charge if it dusnt say charged in the notification bar...and den when its done calibrate the battery ...and let it drain in one cycle ...and only plug it aftr its drained completly
Since the myth has been debunked, theres no point in calibrating now ;D
Cheers

Yup, no need to wipe batter stats in sgs2. I always flash rom or kernal on full charge whilst plugged in and don't have a problem. Problems start when roms flashed on less then full battery and battery can drop into the red straight after flashing.
Hi,i have a defy green lens...my problem is battery..charge my defy come of 35% to 19%....and 95% to 100% is very slow...when unplug charge is 99%..i use battery calibration but not solve problem..help me plz......sorry my english is bad...

Sounds like a bad battery. Try a different one. Chances are it won't happen with a different battery

I think that is normal, and 99% I think is because beyond you are charging the battery, phone is consuming battery too, so when u unplug the cable, appears 99%.
Mine did a similar, just not as bad. Something like 26% to 19% but I fixed it by not plugging it in until it was less than 5% and sometimes waiting for it to completely die. With it being that bad, you will probably need a new battery if that doesnt help any
Hello,
I have a moto Defy with Wiui GB stable on it. I recently got Mugan 1700mha battery.
The problem I face is that there are big drops in battery levels. The drops happen a lot of time and is pissing me off. Any help I can get to fix it?
Have you tried completely draining the battery, then charging it to 100% and leave it charging after 100% for an hour more and then using a battery calibration app?

Hi
Last night my defy(green lens) battery drained completely and turned off. After I plugged in charger for ten minutes the big battery symbol indicated 18% battery level then I turned on my defy....wow the status bar now showing 54% charge.....how could it charge more than 30%in less than 1 minute.
Then I rebooted and wiped battery stats but still its no use. Its showing charge increasing from 55%..
I think that this ROM cm10 by Quarx not getting full charge....I mean how could that happen 0-55 in less than 15 minutes..??? This is like a sports bike/car.
Is there any battery fix for this issue???

I bought a replacement battery for my defy because the stock battery has bulged and now quickly loses its charge. I got the new one from eBay and it has, 3500 mah. I'm currently using Mokee OS for my defy but the battery percentage that it is showing doesn't seem to be accurate because it has been at 1% for more than 12hrs now, no kidding. I have wiped the battery stats for this after the first full charge and I also used battery calibration. Has anybody experienced this when they replaced the battery?

You should flash your Phone with battery fix appropate to New one. try that one for defy+
That's what you'd get when using different capacity from stock ones.
Defy/Defy+ would recognize only 1500/1700 mAh batterys, it's fixed in the rom.
There's no fix for Hi-capa battery, you may just live with it, or try Momax 1500mAh if you like.
Try it with different battd binary files. According to this video it can work correctly.
