So I went to turn on my tab today and it would not turn on, I was able to get it to download mode with no issues. I plugged it in using the charger that came with the tab and this is what I get:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I can't even turn it on while plugged in or get into download mode. It doesn't show its charging. Any suggestions?
EDIT: ok so it turned out that the tab was completely dead. After a few mins plugged in it turned on and it was showing that it was charge.

I've seen that before on a Galaxy S2 and it was fixed by reflashing with a stock firmware, by any chance did you use the Tab till it you flatlined the battery ?

I was using it yesterday and it had battery left and I turned it off before going to bed, unless I never confirmed for the tab to shutdown.

I guess the battery was just flatlined.

I just noticed something. My Kindle Fire actually recognizes when the charger is plugged in.

Yep, its supposed to show charging when you go to the battery in settings, that is how you are supposed to check to make sure its charging. The bug has to do with the battery icon.
is this a problem with the kernel? if so whats a good rom to use that does use this specific kernel?

l2_hsic is keeping my phone awake like crazy.
Has anyone experienced this on their Note N7100?
I tried with powering off, removing the battery and powering on. It doesn't help.
Any help would be appreciated

It's mobile data transfer. Find out which apps are syncing too regularly.

Since I opened and set-up Samsung Link, its always been the 1st of second reason of battery drain. I'm not sure why. I dont even use it. I know freezing it would be the simplest solution, but i like to know why it does that and not just skip to the easiest solution.
Anybody have this issue?

I use Link regularly and don't have this problem. The only thing I can think of looking through the settings is auto upload. I have it turned off. Might be possible it is turned on, on your device. If not then I am not sure either.

I've had weird battery stat experiences before - usually the opposite, where screen takes up everything and Android OS/system are nowhere to be found. Have you tried rebooting or charging back up to >90%?

I take it you restarted the device? Have you tried putting it in airplane mode then turning that off?
Usually. A full reboot fixes it. If not manually kill the settings/whatever app you use for wifi
