I don't have the 3.0 kernel charging bug? - Kindle Fire General

I just noticed something. My Kindle Fire actually recognizes when the charger is plugged in.

Yep, its supposed to show charging when you go to the battery in settings, that is how you are supposed to check to make sure its charging. The bug has to do with the battery icon.

is this a problem with the kernel? if so whats a good rom to use that does use this specific kernel?

Thanks..

To rule out a glitch in the theme, change themes and see if it's still there.
Sent using witchcraft via XDA Developers Premium App.
It was there when I was using kalaga's theme on leeroids froyo rom, it's not a glitch, and if you pull down the notification area it shows the battery use and you can click it and open the app...
If it's not a theme thing then is it an App or add-on you have downloaded / installed?
Is it part of the Froyo ROM (I tried LeDroids GB ROM and it had no such icon)?

that is a famous no flash plug in blue lego block. most commonly found on iphones.
you likely either dont have flash player installed or dont have plugins set to run automatically in dolphin.

I could really do with your help to start again with this phone!
You can try a more recent 2ndboot build, but check the quarx jelly thread, and use the latest build with kernel fix
EDIT: try limiting number of background processes to 2

Can you provide some more information? Like what kernel are you using? Rom? Apps? What is your screen time and such.
One thing I see is life 360 is on your stats. That could be one of reason or the main reason it's eating up your battery's power. And looks like Google services could be a culprit. Again, provide more information so we can help you.
