When you click on a text box on the note most of the time it zooms in to far and you can't see what your typing, anyone else having this issue? You have to move the screen down then zoom out by pinching. Its so annoying none of my other android phone did this!
Nevermind it was my own fault it was the settings in dolphin browser that was causing the issue. This thread can be deleted!

Has anyone done this before? Basically I want to remove reflow. I know it might not be a good idea, but I think the browser will be better for me personally.
if this can be done, I hope we can get rid of jumping after pinch-zooming.

this is exactly the reason why i want to disable reflow. the jumping problem is SOO annoying and it makes opera look like its eradic or something. yuck!
Yeah i would like to disable this also. Anyone with a solution?
I agree with you it makes opera looks slow and so laggy
I wish if there is a way to stop it
rebump for a find. if anyone has the answer.
I agree with you guys, hope someone has a valid answer as a fix.
I am still searching..
anyone?
Try this - Go to Regedit HKLM/Software/Opera/Prefs/Adaptive Zoom/Default Zoom change 175 to 0.
already tried it.
does not work. reflow persist. can you give it a try yourself and tell me if it worked for you? is reflow disabled?
still looking if anyone has a solution to disable reflow in opera 9.7
it works well on my device! Only tap to zoom is gone... check again if you r doing it right! You can try to soft reset after you r done!
I disagree. Does not work. Can anyone else confirm if this works? Screen shots please?

it does work. I can pinch to zoom without jumping and the text is not reflowed anymore. as others said only side effect is losing double tap to zoom. What Opera build do you have?
well here's the thing. when you change the value to 0, all the text that can reflow, will automatically reflow to a 800px width.
Meaning, by changing the value to 0, you force it to autoflow and it stays stuck that way even if you zoom even more closer up to maybe 200px width.
So yeah. This works but completely destroys the purpose of doing it in the first play anyways.
still looking...
And I want double tap to zoom back. I prefer that over pinch to zoom.
Hi,
I think that I have a small but vexing problem with the browser. I tried to search about it, but it seems that I'm the frist to notice it. Pratically, when I use the browser in vertical mode, this issue there is not. But when it's in horizontal mode, whilst I click to link-bar for inserting an url, the url previously isn't pointed out by the system and so, to insert a new url, I must delete the previously url by the delete key. Someone have an idea? This issue is also in Dolphin Browser HD and so I think It's more a keyboard problem than a browser problem...
Thanks for your attention!
I've had this issue since upgrading to Froyo as well, but I couldn't find the "Froyo bugs" thread, so couldn't be bothered to post about it.
Anyway I don't think it's a keyboard issue as I've experienced this with both Samsung's stock keyboard and Better Keyboard, so I think it's a bug in Webkit or some other related library...
Edit: btw, you you can press and hold on the address bar and tap "Select all" and then start typing.

Yes, I know that, but it's quite annoying!
SGS2 is a fantastic phone but one of the most annoying things I find is when you zoom in on the browser, the webpage doesn't seem to do the screen auto-fit.
Double tapping it doesn't seem to do the trick either where this feature is available to the former SGS1.
I have already ticked the box for Auto-fit in the settings menu to no avail. I use browser zooming all the time and it's frustrating you have to scroll from left to right and vice versa to read for every single line. It's doing my head-in!! What else can I do to make this work?
Thanks in advance.
You need to totally zoomed out of the page then double tap and the text will be rearranged.
If you are already zoomed in, double tap once will do a zoom out, do that one more time to auto-fit the text.

This is another reason why not to use the stock SGS2 browser (the other being that it brings the battery to its knees).
Try Menu > More > Settings, uncheck "Open pages in overview", and check "Auto-fit pages".

Double tapping only switches between overview and default zoom level - both of them do allow auto-fit. However, if you zoom in at a level greater than the default zoomed-in level, it certainly does not perform the auto-fit again as it should be and in this case double tapping would only take it back to overview level. I regularly need to zoom in more than the default zoom level. It's so annoying!! Surely, I'm not the only person experiencing this issue.
Opera Mobile has it.
There's already a thread on this topic about 500 pages long titled text reflow. Perhaps all your answers are contained there.

Did a search for this but nothing came up. Have you got the link to that thread?
I need to find out how to resolve this issue as it's ruining my browsing experience..

The clue to the referenced thread is in the post above yours, where he actually gives you the title of said thread. If you then do a search with that same title.........

I did another test on the Samsung infuse today and text reflow definitely works. Now we just need to figure out why Samsung would leave it out of their flagship phone.
Dumbass browser move by Samsung, as well as not having settings for desktop displays.
'Best browser' in the industry: NOT because they don't enable these key features. Idiotic.
Regarding zoom you have to pinch zoom to required level and rotate the phone it auto fits your page in whatever zoom level.you should keep auto rotation on.

Yeah it autofit if you rotate it. But the funny thing it will autofit if you zoom in after a rotate.

Anyone else having sluggish issues in chrome? Was reading wired and it just froze a few seconds before letting me scroll the page.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Yeah it is sluggish sometimes, the other day I was reading http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...e-olympics-will-be-worth-watching-this-summer in Chrome, and it's very bad, scroll delay or doesn't scroll at all. It's a bit more bearable in Dolphin Browser.
Yep, same here.
I am also having an issue with deleting characters in the search bar in Chrome. When I press the backspace button, it adds random characters every time I try to delete. It happens at random times and is kind of annoying.

Not a fan of this Chrome implementation. Went back to the AOSP browser
+1 Yeah totally agree Chrome just isn't that good at the moment..
Whenever I take a photo it seems to be always orientated in landscape. In the stock gallery app, the photo will automatically view in portrait, but in other photo viewers it'll display it in landscape. Is there any reason as to why it does this and anything I can do about this?
Check the settings in the camera app, you can pick one or the other.
What is that crap at the bottom?
