im going to running verizon prepaid on my intercept, as long as i can make a verizon branded type rom, how would i build a rom to work on the intercept, i already have everything ready inside the phone, but when i try to call i get a message, we cant authenticate your phone. So what do i have to do to get atleast voice and text working? i know about the eri.xml and stuff but when i replace it in the framework it doesnt work right, phone.apk fc's, mms, cfsc.apk fc's, all kinds of stuff, the only rom i have tried and got it almost was cm6, but only for a minute, and the phone did not work still, when i dial *228 it activates successfully and everything so why cant i call? can someone here please help me?

I can't access my internet through Verizon on my Titan (XV6800), after I flashed the rom to DCD 4.1.2 and the radio to 3.42.50. Everything on it works perfectly fine including the phone service and sms texting just the data plan with Verizon didn't work. I also tried to contact Verizon for this matter but they're just telling me to do the "[email protected] and vzw" which isn't working at all.. I've also flashed back to the stock rom but no luck there.
I've read around and it seems like a lot of other people are having this problem? (but no luck finding someone who solved the problem) Anyways if you guys can share some info if you have the problem or if you fixed the problem..

Phone and SMS works.. Data plan seems to FAIL
Get the "wrong username and password" (ERROR 11?)
VZW cant or wont do anything about it

(There might be other ways to do it as well.. such as resetting the dmu keys? but i didnt take this method so if your out of luck on obtaining a regular/extra phone call verizon asking if they know anything about resetting the dmu keys for you.. that or ask them to remove the data plan and add the data plan back again.)

Yep, I'm able to make calls and and send/receive sms messages.
Only thing not working on my phone is the data.. Im thinking of switching over to my old phone and then swapping back to my XV6800.. Since this is what people said worked for them.. I hope it does, im dying without the data. haha

esn swaps can be done online. it is fast and easy try that. I kinda suspect the rom has a problem and you will need to reflash.
yah im thinking its the rom also.. but ill give that esn swap a chance..
I have a big update..
I solved the problem by calling Verizon Wireless and swapping to a phone without any data plans.. then called them back a few minutes later asking to switch back to the xv6800 and adding on the data plan.
This seem to fix the problem, i've also flashed to a new rom which didn't really do anything untill I called them and switched phones..
So end to this thread:
-Problems with Data after flashing.

As topic says, I have a verizon XV6900. I let customizations run accidentally when using an older sprint rom to do the AGPS fix. I
3.37.77 is now the radio Im currently running on.
PRI version uner EPST settings says 1.37_002

Im running NFSFAN'S V12 wm6.5 Rom.
When first going back to the rom after changing the radio and doing the AGPS fix I needed to make a few calls to get data and phone working, but both work fine, as does the GPS - successfully getting locks in a decent time, most of the time.
Only issue I seem to be having thats pretty serious at the moment is that whenever I make an outgoing call now, it shows up to the person Im calling as "Restricted". Hence most people I call dont even bother picking up for me if thats what shows up. I need a fix for it.
Under ##778# what are peoples settings here (for verizon users)?
(forget the other ## codes for the menus to change things - but what are other peoples settings there that I may need to change?)
Verizon did find it weird I was currently in the town I said I was in when I called. Didnt say why.

Call Verizon and tell them you do not know why, and they can fix it on their end. Had the same thing happen to my wife's phone. They done it when they reauthenticated it on their end. Just play dumb.
Hey, im failty new to the rooting scene, im usually happy with what comes out of the box but i decided to give this a try.
Everything went fairly well, had a few hiccups but in the end i got Modaco 2.9 on my Telus Hero. The only thing that doesnt work is SMS.. i can't send them and i can't receive them.
I double checked my APN settings and everything is fine, can anyone help me out?

can you make calls? sms are not connected to the apn settings or something that has to do with internet or data network at all. sms are sent in the signaling with the network, the only thing that has to be set right is the smsc address. did you check that?
yeah i can make and receive calls, i can even do the 611 to contact telus
i checked the service number, its there. Im going to call Telus and ask them to push my config on my phone again.. i had to do it yesterday because my internet wasn't working on my phone.

Update: Called Telus, basically i can send txts but cannot receive them, according to the SMS server, it reaches my phone but isn't notifying me i guess..
i tried, re-wiping and re-installed rom and radio and still nothing.. everything else works great.

So I unlocked my S4 L720 by Using this ==== > " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703955 " I am using it for T-mobile. Once it was unlocked i flashed back to NAE I have signal I have 4G/H+, but kept having issues with different roms. On every rom I have used either from sprint s4 or tmobile s4, 2 out of every 10 text that I send say fail, then I click resend and it says sending. Also I sometimes wouldn't be able to make a phone call, as if their wasnt service, but i could clearly see full bars and H+ signal. Finally after about a minute or so it'll send. With every sprint rom I had the S4 didn't receive mms, but I could send them. Then with some tmobile roms when i would make a call it wouldn't be able to hang up, but I would be able to send/receive mms. I re-did the whole unlock process 3 times and still the samething. Anyone else had this problem? I have honestly tried about 10 different roms from sprint/tmobile. Im currently about to try a stock tmobile base rom DEODEX see if that'll help. Im not exactly a noob, but im also not smart developer. Any help would be appreciated thanks everyone!
Sounds like an APN issue. What APN settings have you been using?

also sometimes the cellphones ads automatically a + simbol and when i try to call back a voice message tells me i can not make international calls
so i have to edit the number before calling it dont matter if the number is saved the phone ads the + simbol
how can i solved this problem ?>

Flash an ATT stock touchwiz based ROM. This will solve both issues .

Not really the phones are almost identical as far as software and specs. I ran numerous ATT Roms without a problem. You do have to be sure that the version of the ROM you download is the non safestrap ones. I recommend Golden eye. Its pretty much stock touchwiz with the necessary tweaks.
