SD based android in wm6.5 - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

the data.img is recommended to be 1G or less, does that mean in wm6.5, my android will only get 1G storage space for applications? is that right?
in wp7 with mgrldr, I can access the whole 32G sd card.

can i install application on sd card

how can i install an application on 2gb sd card on HD2 running with WP7?
you dont need to.
WP7 uses SD storage and its internal memory in a form of RAID
basically, if you install WP7 with your 2GB SD card installed and the SD card is compatible, then you will use the SD card anyway,

WP7 & Android on 1 SD Card: Replacing Android Build

So I have my HD2 SD care partitioned with 8GB for WP7 [Nand] and 8GB set for my Android builds. I was wondering if everytime I switch Android builds do I have to repartition the entire SD card, or is there a way to just simply replace the Android build from before with a newer Android build.
I've already repartitioned multiple times, but just wanted to know if there was a simpler way of swapping out my Android build without touching the WP7 partition on my SD card.

Hi,
You have four different storage areas. In order to see what you have got and where it is, download and install Titanium Backup.
When you open up this program, it will display:
System
Internal
SD card
EXT. On the sd card

used appmonster and moved most application to sd card.
btw, if wm 6.5 and android both access sd card, will that be a problem?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using xda premium
Yes that is correct although 1gb is more than enough and all apps have to be moved to internal storage (Android reads the data.img as internal storage).
Also if I'm not mistaken there is a tool you can use to change the size of the data.img somewhere. Just try searching I'm sure it will come up somewhere.

its not so recomended to play whit the size of data.img

How much space is needed to boot my phone to android?

How much space do i need to have on my memory card to boot my phone to android? and does someone have one recommended for me?
1 GB Sd card
I think you need a clean 1 GB sd card, After running on sd card you have free 200 MB to use.
Works better with nand install
