the data.img is recommended to be 1G or less, does that mean in wm6.5, my android will only get 1G storage space for applications? is that right?
in wp7 with mgrldr, I can access the whole 32G sd card.
used appmonster and moved most application to sd card.
btw, if wm 6.5 and android both access sd card, will that be a problem?

Yes that is correct although 1gb is more than enough and all apps have to be moved to internal storage (Android reads the data.img as internal storage).
Also if I'm not mistaken there is a tool you can use to change the size of the data.img somewhere. Just try searching I'm sure it will come up somewhere.

hi
i have installed NexusHD2 froyo nand rom, but i am running out of storage, so i can't install more apps. How can i install the rom with more internal storage. ?
Well you can install App2SD from the market and move some of the apps/data to your SD card.
Alternativley you may be able to mod your rom in some way to use App2SD+ which means that apps/data is automatically moved to a partition on your SD card.
Or if you can enable Data2SD you can use the same partition as a extension to you internal memory which is much better.
but i have tried to move nearly all apps to the sd card but still i only have 30 mb left

Do you still have WP7 flashed on the NAND? Absolute worst case scenario, start at the beginning. Reflash Windows Mobile 6.5, then Magldr, then Android ROM for NAND.
Am I reading this right that you're booting Android from your SD card?
win7 already i flash witn android nand. No its not booting from SD. it booting from Nand.
I guess my next question is why would you want to put photos and music on the NAND? The HD2 only has 1GB. Wouldn't those files be better suited for the SD card?

Hi guys, i got a problem mounting the microsd on my hd2.
I've seen that the problem is in every rom.
Well.. every android rom tested seem to no recognize the sd... only a Gb of internal storage is founded... but if i open a file manager i can see the sd folder and navigate inside it...
I got an hd2 with android on sd and wp7 nand... and i already tested doing privilege fix... but nothing change.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
You have WP7, which uses part of your SD card as internal storage. Mount it on a computer and use a partition tool. Do you see the rest of the SD card?

OK not to cause confusion here but I think both of the above are slightly wrong. The reason you get 1GB of 'internal' storage on SD ROMs in general is because it uses a file called a data.img which is read by Android as internal storage. You will be able to use a file manager to access the SD card and you'll see all of the music etc which is on your SD card but if you try moving an app to your SD it won't work anymore.
However, I haven't used SD Android in a long time so perhaps wis or hengsheng are right
^He is correct. Internal storage is data.img, and it's usually set to 1GB of size. Your SD card has nothing to do with your internal storage when talking about SD-Android. However, I think you can download another one with a larger size, or just set it to a larger size in the boot up script.
(Either way, make a backup, because I don't think you can "enlarge" a data.img neither can you migrate apps/data from one to another.)
Hey Folks,
I'm using my HD2 in Dual Boot with WP7 and Android on extra SD Partition. I've installed WP7 on NAND Memory and all the data like Apps, Music and Pics are stored in a 10GB Partition on my SD Card. I created a second partition with the 6GB wich are left from my 16GB SD Card. There i placed some different Android SD Build Roms. They are all running fine on my HD2 and i can boot without any problems into Android SD.
My only problem is that my Android SD Build doesnt recognize any SD Storrage Card. I cant put any Pics or Music on my Android or even download something with Android. Is there a way to get the Android Partition on my SD Card as SD Storrage?
Would be prety cool to have a solution for this problem.
Thanks and Greets
