So, in my three dreadful days on ics(thank God Im back on gb, untill official at least) I found that freezing Google plus in titanium backup gets rid of my android os battery issue. Could I be onto something..? Or am I just getting ahead of myself?

I'm getting 3 days with my Mugen Power 3900mAH battery on ICS 4.0.3. This OS is really fixing the battery issue.

Seems like a lot of people with battery issues needed to do a simple battery calibration.

And by battery drain I mean the drain caused by "android os "

You can ask him. But he has always not supported older builds of his kernels. By leaving them up just leaves it open for questions and requests that he probably did not want to deal with. Upward and onward, thus is the community. The problems you are having are very isolated and for the most part people are having the opposite experience. You may want to find a ICS rom you like with a stock kernel at first, calibrate your battery, run it for a full day or so, then run GLaDOS and gage your battery against that. Just a suggestion.

I'm on ACS ICS Beta 4. I want to say it's my apps but I don't see a glaring issue. Is it the phone signal? I noticed it was the only indicator in yellow. I'm not sure if it's good or bad.
Also, why is the phone awake for an 1 hour and 44 minutes but the screen was on for only 14 minutes?

Is the phone signal being in yellow mean that it's using more battery than the other functions?
Yeah, I've noticed since Sprint has started selling off parts of their 'excess' towers, that the 'time without signal' drain is -much worse- and kinda effects roms (like Bonsai) that have a fix baked in.

Well that too, but that was more of the electronics part of the camera when it actually takes the picture and then tries to store it in flash memory; I'm sure the kernel will need more tweaking, and since they used the tiamat kernel, I'm happy.

keep in mind that not all apps are optimized for ics and that the "efficiency" in each app developers code varies, with that in mind, when you flash marcusants ics kang, be sure to keep apps to a minimum for a better experience.

In a nutshell it is supposed to resolve the dreaded lag in Android devices.
I flashed the flashable version and wow. I am literally seeing a HUGE improvement in speeds. Apps are just flying when opened. I am not even OC and I am running the new Team DIRT Dirty Unicorns. Just throwing this out there for those who want to give this a whirl. I highly recommend it so far. Will check back in a few (read "days") and give further impressions.

Its actually for all Android. So I am thinking how fast this would run on say... Decks ReLoaded or Kendall's JellyBread. I am currently massively under clocking on Dirty Unicorn. Min 384 and Max 652 on MazWoz kernel. No lag what so ever!
The creator also allows devs to bake this mod in. Hopefully it gets picked up on our end. Might extend some life in our device.

Dude, come on 88,after its installed you go to the app drawer and its right there, open it and set it to enable and reboot and man this app is the shiznit,i created my own jb rom, which had noticable lag and brother, smooth as butter now,the dev hit this one out of the park.
So this was posted in JellyBread https://plus.google.com/app/basic/stream/z12uw3ubrnjtwp0oo04chbkpywq3fxgrtrw0k
I asked to move all Seeder talk from that thread to this thread to avoid cluttering a ROM development thread with debates on this app. I personally am using it, released a ROM with it that is in Android development section. Not a single issue with battery.
In my experience. All that battery drain talk is complete crap. Some of them even admitted to not even wanting to read more in to it "Definitely sounds like a battery killer... I've seen articles around about it but haven't even bothered to attempt to put it on my phone or even read further into it."
LMFAO. If you will make your decisions for this app off this then ok :silly:.
I had the same battery life I had. The performance is greatly increased. I installed Better Battery stats and my phone goes in to deep sleep. It hardly stays at max cpu. All those negative claims are mostly false and probably just pompous devs that couldn't get credit for it.

OK I have it on my evo4g with jellybread. Using it after reading the posts on here. I downloaded it from the Market and the only thing I have did is turn on the two settings you see when you open the app.

Not really tricked, but like they said, they jumped the gun on saying this will fix all lag problems, its actually causing other issues when the tweak is doing its job,so they are working on a fix for this issue.
Issues:
There was no performance gain. However, the CPU did stay awake longer and my battery consumption went up from 0.6%- 1% to 2.2% per hour.Battery stats points to the CPU favoring 500MHz and not scaling down to 200MHz.Deep sleep was also an issue.
