You should try AirKernel. Matrix is a great kernel but has some known issues with CyberGR.

It honestly varies from phone-to-phone. You have to play around with it (albeit very carefully) and see at what point your phone gets glitchy or starts overheating and stuff.

Currently for over a week solid running on demand at 1.2Max (1190) with no reboots, everything working as designed. Great battery life, no FC's etc. My current details are listed in my signature for reference.

CPU is similar to running car engine at high rpm's,motor may be able to handle say 6500 rpm's,but performance peaks at say 6000,same with our phones. My phone will run at 1.17 but benchmarks are lower than if I run it at 1.15.

You can ask him. But he has always not supported older builds of his kernels. By leaving them up just leaves it open for questions and requests that he probably did not want to deal with. Upward and onward, thus is the community. The problems you are having are very isolated and for the most part people are having the opposite experience. You may want to find a ICS rom you like with a stock kernel at first, calibrate your battery, run it for a full day or so, then run GLaDOS and gage your battery against that. Just a suggestion.

ICS ROM With The Least Lag?

I'm getting the Galaxy S III Sunday, letting somebody else hold my Epic. I want to load ICS on it before I give it up. That being said, what ROM has the least lag? It's been awhile since I used ICS but when I did, AOKP was snappier than CM9. Is that still the case? RemICS looks promising too. Any opinions are appreciated.

keep in mind that not all apps are optimized for ics and that the "efficiency" in each app developers code varies, with that in mind, when you flash marcusants ics kang, be sure to keep apps to a minimum for a better experience.

Guidance for those who want longer battery performance...
What's the screen-on time?
what guidance did you provide? it is just a screenshot and it is not in english, not helpful
Awesome, I need a new paper weight.
That's all fine and dandy but it's meaningless if you don't show us your screen time. I mean, if I used my phone for a minute a day, it would last me weeks on a single charge, obviously.
Just to show, this isn't anything special:
This is nearly 2 days and 11 hours
About 7h of screen on time.

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
just make a fresh install of any 4.1.2 based rom and boom, you have over 5h on-screen time easily.
disable all (or most) sync for even better effects. make sure you don't use any useless, draining apps (air push detector and betterbattery stats helps)
you can try to achieve more by choosing a decent kernel, if possible also undervolt (-75mV CPU/-75mV each step GPU should be possible on most devices).
