Guidance for those who want longer battery performance...
What's the screen-on time?
what guidance did you provide? it is just a screenshot and it is not in english, not helpful
Awesome, I need a new paper weight.
That's all fine and dandy but it's meaningless if you don't show us your screen time. I mean, if I used my phone for a minute a day, it would last me weeks on a single charge, obviously.
Just to show, this isn't anything special:
This is nearly 2 days and 11 hours
About 7h of screen on time.

You charged the battery twice, you didn't achieve 2 days. Your post isn't giving any help, just adding another unnecessary thread.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Yup charged twice, but nonetheless it would be at about 20% now with two a and a half day. So in fact your argumentation is invalid
And my post just did what it told...showing the fact that this thread and his "achievement" is nothing special

've tried to case the aroma revolution 16? has its own fluidity? You've performed a Undervolt the cpu?
No undervolting or any other tweaks done so far.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
what rom you use ?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
just make a fresh install of any 4.1.2 based rom and boom, you have over 5h on-screen time easily.
disable all (or most) sync for even better effects. make sure you don't use any useless, draining apps (air push detector and betterbattery stats helps)
you can try to achieve more by choosing a decent kernel, if possible also undervolt (-75mV CPU/-75mV each step GPU should be possible on most devices).

Another thing is after pressing many times quickly on Android Version in About Phone menu in Settings an image pops up!! Wtf are these zombies holding mobile phones?? Using stock LC1
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Under ICS, instead of Zombie Androids you get to see a lonely ICS Android (over your current wallpaper) and if you keep your fingers on top of it it will grow and then reveal an animated sequence of Android invasión!
These are called "easter eggs" by the way... ;-)
Cheers!

Place your bets.
When do you think we'll have a working ROM for the S III?
A little late to the party.. You should at least check the first page if you're not going to search first..

With or without the JB kernel?
With ICS kernel in the coming days, kernel is going to be harder and will be much later.
Should be mostly working port within a day or two, with ics kernel. Jb only seems to use 3.0.13 anyway, so barely any changes.
Also, CM10 should be formed within a few hours according to the team themselves. So, nightlies could start today or tomorrow.

I take the bus everyday for 45min going and coming from work.
I have 4g most of the time and about 7-10min I'm locked onto 2g/edge
Now question is how much would my battery drain from the ups and downs of signal?
And BTW I use Google music sometimes. And ALL the time I'm either here looking thru XDA or using the browser.
GPS And locations are off as well.
Thanks!

That question can't be answered, it all depends on too much.
45 minutes with screen on in a bad signal area and on 4g? 15% or so? Impossible to guess.
Yea it was to hard for me to figure out. Thought I might ask here. Well I just got off the bus and my phones at 65% after 1hr screen on.

You're in a bad signal area, 4g, music. That could be right actually..
Stock kernel? If so try something else. Trinity, Franco.
Try gsm auto prl instead of wcdma preferred.

Hi all,
Today morning i left my SGS4 at table and when i was getting up, i was holding this kind of battery http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/99/02_-_Single_Energizer_Battery.jpg and suddenly fell (for about 70 Centimetre high) at phone screen.
Screen hasn't got any scratch or something, works good, but i just wanted to ask if this can cause any problem in the future? It's my first time facing this kind of drop trip so i just wanted to ask and feel more comfortable.
I use this to http://img.game.co.uk/images/gameware/pspscreenprotectorandcloth.gif don't know if it helps in this situation haha.
Thanks.
Energizer AA batteries are a known menace to the Galaxy S4 screen.
Breakage could occur at any time, it could be months it could be hours. Once the AA battery has had it's way there's no going back.
The only known cure is the saliva of an epileptic koala, this must be applied twice daily to the effected area.
Good luck mate!
