I just saw that Huawei launched PRO version, they even have firmware for this and website page http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=3780 but there's is no info about specifications of phone.
I'm guessing what may be new in that "pro" version. I think it's for Europe only cause softwares are released for europe counties, one of them is mine ( http://page2rss.com/page?url=www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/downloadCenter.do?method=doListSoftware) and spain.
Maybe somebody knows something more about it?
They also have some Linux package for it http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwi...=toDownloadFile&flay=software&softid=NDE1MTM= still don't get it what that package do Drivers or something like source code..
looks like it has 4gb internal memory
It has a upgraded 1Ghz CPU and some various hardware kinks worked out -
Also I'm guessing it will run Gingerbread with the Huawei launcher/skin.
Btw - do you have a method for downloading any of the files/ROMs which you found on the huaweidevice.com website using the page2rss cache ?
i hope its not just for European countries and that they release it everywhere else... SOON
here's the specs:
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=3066&c=huawei_ideos_x5_pro
Looks like this version got a radio: Analog:Radio Receiver: FM radio (87.8-108MHz) ? (from Hayden18's link) Maybe that is why our u8800 got a radio chipset..
**** HUAWEI than! Just bought X5 and they released PRO version and the price is the same... My carrier sells it for 280$ (i'm guessing that it's PRO version cause i saw in firmware list that they, carrier got firmware for just PRO version).
And no i was unable to get any of those download links from rss feed
But version was 2.2.2 not 2.3
Any possibility to get our FM Radio to function with this Phone's ROMs (or something)?
Or is it a completely different qualcomm chipset? I miss my FM Radio when I commute...
Without custom ROMs the PRO is useless even tough it might be a bit faster.
people, it's not faster, that cpu is almost the same as regular x5's one which huawei CHOOSE to set clock to 800 mhz. only pro in pro xD is 4gb internal storage.

They chose to set it to 800MHz because it's an 800MHz CPU! Read the specsheets for the MSM7230...
The pro uses a MSM8255, 1GHz chip same as the Ideox X6.

Exactly my friend is a newer generation of processors, btw it has 2gb for internal sd and 1gb for applications, FM radio.
And no it doesn't have Gingerbread, it has 2.2.2
Later i will submit a print screen of the phone options.

It's not newer generation. They're both Snapdragon S2.
Snapdragon is not the cpu itself, the cpu is called scorpion. The Snapdragon S2 systems have scorpions with 800MHz (our u8800), with 1000MHz (the Pro), and scorpions up to 1.5GHz... maybe these are all different scorpion-processors, maybe not. I am not sure if this always is the same processor with a different clock-setting.

X5 Pro's cpu: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=cpu&id=a8255&c=qualcomm_snapdragon_msm8255

infact i don't see any differences just pro uses 1Ghz by default, and x5 800mhz. But i think both are overclockable to the same freq. And both have tha same Adreno 205 Gpu. Also pro supports HSPA+ and i think many people don't give a crap about it Because that speed is just theoretical as everything in pc world

Please read my other post again. S2 is not the cpu.

We see in this link, the U8800-51 for Brasil-Claro. In the Huawei site we see also that new type.

sure, it's same as motorola does with defy to defy+, cpu just has higher clock multiplier
Hi,
I think this place is where I can get most answers to my queries since I believe Galaxy phone share many same specs...
I'm looking for the following information : what processor is inside the phone? It's a Samsung S5570 and I understand the processor is ARMV6. Is V6 only or + VFP.
I guess I can get the answer if I install Firefox as it only works on V7 processors but I think I have read it could work with V6+VFP.
Can anyone tell if the phone has VFP in it?
I don't know a lot about computer hardware but I understand VFP is Very Floating Point and it enhances the capacities of the processor...
Thanks,
Pascal

I found it on Ebay. Apparently it as a 3mp camera and a 800mhz processor and looks close to a clone of the bravo besides the additional search key. is It possible to port Gingerblur from this phone to Bravo with a working camera?????
This phone is not like motorola bravo, it has adreno gpu and qualcom proccesor while bravo uses powervr gpu and cortex proccesor.
Also about camera, quarx already realesed a android 2,3,7 CM7 rom which has camera fully working.
I've been using it few days and i'm happy, go ahead and look it up mate.

Thats all to say!!
The phone you showed is the FIRE XT, looks like a very good phone I'd like to get one, but screen has lower resolution and I think that TI OMAP is better.
Motorola didnt release Official Gingerbread for BRAVO and DEFY because they didnt want.
Both phones has good specs to manage it without problem, even ICS can be managed without problems!
i own samsung galaxy 5 and huawei ideos x5.
and today i installed 1 rom to galaxy 5 and make quadrant and i get 84 FPS.
and i dont know how is it possible on galaxy 5 and on u8800 not.and u8800 have better cpu,...
maybe our screen doesent handle more than 50fps?
Just got my Find 5 (few months old with CM 10.1 installed) and according to "CPU Identifier" app, it has a Snapdragon 600 (8064T) processor, a quick Google reveals that Oppo released a Find 5TD in China a few months back with the 600 clocking @ 1.7 Ghz.
Antutu says my max clock speed is 1.512 Ghz though.
Maybe "CPU Indentifier" is telling lies or maybe CM 10 is holding back my processor speed cos it thinks its a Snapdragon S4.
If it was CPU z then it will say that. Same thing happened on my nexus 4.
But I am told some of the oppo find 5s where updated
Sent from that one guy with the cool phone
If I helped you hit that Thanks button!
Yes, this is possible, due the fact that OPPO has upgraded soms Find 5's. But I thought they where all set on 1.5Ghz, if you want to can install a custom kernel and clock it right to 1.7Ghz.
Just installed CPU Identifier and I've got also a Snapdragon 600! AWESOME!
where did you guys buy your oppo find 5's from? I read that they refreshed it with the snapdragon, but all the places that sell it still list the old specs

Actually the updated Find 5 has the same processor as the Nexus 7 (2013), it's an underclocked Snapdragon 600, but on paper it's a S4 Pro Krait 300.
really ? one more thread about it ..... no and no.
Oppo Find 5 is a APQ8064 SoC , which is a Snapdragon S4 Pro
Its not one of those :
APQ8064T
APQ8064AB
APQ8064M
Find5 SoC is the same as Sony Xperia Z. All about the S600 SoC in a find5 is just rumours and have never been proven that it was correct

Mine has a Snapdragon S4 @ 1.51. I use cpu-z.
With some kernels you should go up to 1.9GHz... but IMHO OC on these devices is useless.
