tegra now?...why so late???omg...
Its already available in India since a month. Its more like a Dual Core version of Galaxy S rather than S2. It has almost same features of Galaxy S except for dual core. 5 MP cam, 512 Mb Ram, 4.1 inch SLCD screen etc.
http://www.flipkart.com/mobiles/sam...qw--&ref=16a7bad0-7777-4e16-b755-cc8f2840eccc
it has 1GB RAM 4.19" and SLCD and flash LED.
I don't think this counts as a Galaxy S II, or even a Galaxy S device...
The closer aproach would be like an S2 SCL. S is i9000 and S SCL I9003, this is I9103 and S2 is the original I9100, so more or less like S2 SCL.
But it's Galaxy R (with different hw)...not Galaxy S2...though the code is I9103...very strange...
I have a Galaxy R (i9103) and a Galaxy S (i9000).
Galaxy R is a nice phone. Very very fast and good looking. I think it is very similar to the S2 (i9100) because it looks like it has the same crap implementation of the Yahama DAC. Galaxy S sounds waaay better with Voodoo Sound and I am still using it as my personal phone.
If the only difference is the CPU+GPU part, S2 ROMs may be kind of "compatible". Changing the kernel and other details could be the only needed actions to get some proper ROMs for this phone.

Lol? Mali plus exynos is a way more faster than tegra crap.
Sent from HydrOG3N MOD S2.
Technology Evolves, Android Evolves.
HydrOG3N is THE Revolution.
Tegra 2 is Android reference design for Android tablets. So it is not crap.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is also Tegra 2.
The Galaxy R does everything a Galaxy Tab 10.1 does, but it fits into the pocket of your Jeans.

Lol its very well documented that Mali is (a lot) faster than tegra II...
please don't start this again and do your researches before posting random benchmarks trying to prove something that's not true...
If benchmark scores were to be taken seriously, I can have higher scores than yours without overclocking my phone as you did to get those scores...

The back of the phone looks better than our Exynos models... we still blow every phone out of the water though in terms of performance .

On custom roms for sure Come on, why should you overclock if you have originally faster cpu (1,2 vs 1,0) ?
I tested both handsets (stock roms) and results of quadrant, smartbench, cf... were almost the same, little higher in favor of sgs2 (1,2 ghz ex compared to tegra's 1 ghz). Clocked to 1.2 ghz tegra had slightly better scores in every test.
No need to argue about that, I know what experts say about exynos' and tegra's performance. The thing is that for average user is really hard to notice which of those two handsets is snappier.
I have a question so if someone could answer me it would be great.I have noticed that the x6 is using the same chipset as the x5pro MSM8255 Snapdragon so i was wondering if we could use same roms .
I am not sure, but i don't think so. Does it have other chios like bluetooth, wifi and RILs?

Galaxy y just take a look on the specs..
But I don't know how much development is there for it.
Sent from my GT540
yeah galaxy y specs :
OS Android OS, v2.3.5 (Gingerbread) (stock gb hmm good)
CPU 830 MHz ARMv6 (armv6 too but 800mhz on default??)
Type TFT capacitive touchscreen, 256K colors (eh this is kinda different.....)
Display resolution is just to small 240x320 for that size. CPU is faster, but no flash support, in my opinion not wort changing. I your place i would save money for something with armv7 or better and with higher resolution.

hmm aint that ldpi? i dint see that
Yes, me sister want to bay it so i chack it before. Chack out xperia mini pro. That is gr8 small phone, my sis have it for some time and i like it.

er thats the one with the keyboard right? i bit confused they look the same to me lol. did you install gingerdx for her?(cm7)
Yes, it is this model m.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_xperia_mini_pro-3713.php
1GHz cpu, adreno 205, gr8 hardware.
It come with ginger, and shuld get ics. lol, no flashing cm7, rooting, oc, etc... no need for that. She use it for voice calls, sms, internet, music and photos. And she would probable kill me if i broke something. :-D

wow just wow 1ghz?? put this phone to shame
If I have to choose between swift and galaxy Y, i would take a swift becouse of screen size in px. If you're thinking about any other low end phone you should look at the xperia live with walkman - 1gHz, 512 rom, 512 ram, fast as hell, mdpi,, and phone is not very larger than his screen.
or the wildfire s is good too
I think Galaxy Gio is better than Galaxy Y and GT540, and the price is similiar.
lg gt540 is a low-end smartphone from lg ang galaxy y is a low-end smarthpone from samsung. With stock rom and internal storage galaxy y wins and it has multi-touch screen too (which lg gt540 doesn't) but lg gt540 has ics (beta) and galaxy y doesn't (yet) so... if u look into the future i think u should choose the galaxy y but if u want to play with ics right now u should choose lg gt540. Or u could do as what the above say: save the money and buy a super smartphone like samsung galaxy SII or nesus
How mach is g s2? I would't never give more than 200-250 euro for phone.
Sent using Tt.
@bataya i think that would depend if you buy with 2 year contract or something like that. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9100_galaxy_s_ii-3621.php (see below) in
Singapore a sgsII with a 2 year contract (bundled with data and stuff cost more then 30 SGD a month) and still need to pay more then 200 SGD for the phone itself.....
SGD? How much is that in euro?

What about galaxy w? What's the price if it in your country?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
320-360 euro in shop, for now non of mobile operator offer this model.

well SGD = singapore dollar. close to us dollar
as of now the conversion is
1.00 SGD = 0.600692 EUR
I would take a look at the HTC wildfire s or galaxy ace. For HTC, you get a great looking ui, galaxy ace gets a silky smooth hardware accelerated browser.
Neither LG gt540 or galaxy y are recommended be me for basic smartphone task(s).

Hi guys
I bought the new galaxy s3 neo GT-i9300i which for me it was the best in it's range specially Grand2 . And when I compare it to the original model GT-i9300 I found it's better than 9300 in 2 main points :
1- 1.5 Gb ram . Avilable 1.35 Gb
2- 2 lines
I also need to confirm that GT-i9300i is 1.4 Gb arm cortex a7 processor not 1.2 and its almost have same settings as the GT-i9300 . I know that most of you will say that 9300 is better in matter of processor because it's cortex a9 but it's same speed and the gpu in 9300 is better but I confirm that I played most of hardcore games with no lag.
Now my question why can't I find dedicated fourm for GT-i9300i or any custom rom ?because theory it's almost same device in general aspects .
Hope to see more members that own this device comment on this topic .

I currently own a Note 4 and I saw the A9 pro boasting a 5000 mah battery and gained my attention. Should I change the N4 for it?
