Just got my Find 5 (few months old with CM 10.1 installed) and according to "CPU Identifier" app, it has a Snapdragon 600 (8064T) processor, a quick Google reveals that Oppo released a Find 5TD in China a few months back with the 600 clocking @ 1.7 Ghz.
Antutu says my max clock speed is 1.512 Ghz though.
Maybe "CPU Indentifier" is telling lies or maybe CM 10 is holding back my processor speed cos it thinks its a Snapdragon S4.
If it was CPU z then it will say that. Same thing happened on my nexus 4.
But I am told some of the oppo find 5s where updated
Sent from that one guy with the cool phone
If I helped you hit that Thanks button!
Yes, this is possible, due the fact that OPPO has upgraded soms Find 5's. But I thought they where all set on 1.5Ghz, if you want to can install a custom kernel and clock it right to 1.7Ghz.
Just installed CPU Identifier and I've got also a Snapdragon 600! AWESOME!
where did you guys buy your oppo find 5's from? I read that they refreshed it with the snapdragon, but all the places that sell it still list the old specs

Actually the updated Find 5 has the same processor as the Nexus 7 (2013), it's an underclocked Snapdragon 600, but on paper it's a S4 Pro Krait 300.
really ? one more thread about it ..... no and no.
Oppo Find 5 is a APQ8064 SoC , which is a Snapdragon S4 Pro
Its not one of those :
APQ8064T
APQ8064AB
APQ8064M
Find5 SoC is the same as Sony Xperia Z. All about the S600 SoC in a find5 is just rumours and have never been proven that it was correct

Mine has a Snapdragon S4 @ 1.51. I use cpu-z.
With some kernels you should go up to 1.9GHz... but IMHO OC on these devices is useless.

Quad core 2.3 or 1.9 or 1.3 as I saw on gsmarena
What about gpu as well
What to choose
Note 3 will have snapdragon 800 cpu @ 2.3 ghz. Some will have the Exynos octa core @ 1.9. I will get the Sprint version so it's snapdragon for me

As the person stated above N3 will come in two processors:
1. Slapdragon 800 @ 2.3 GHz (4 Krait cores- QUAD CORE) with Adreno 330 which can shoot 4k Videos @ 30 FPS.
2. Exynos 5420 with 8 cores- 4 A15 @ 1.9 GHz and 4 A7 @ 1.3 GHz. It will have Mali T628 MP6 GPU. However it wont shoot videos at 4k resolution.
Both of the GPUs will have OpenGL ES 3.0.
These stuffs can, you know, be obtained from top notch tech sites like gsmarena etc and with a quite bit of research hypothetically be answered.
But to answer your last question- it is too early to tell.
1. Lets see how the real world users say about daily usage in terms of Slapdragon 800 and Exynos.
2. Lets see how GSMArena turns out regarding battery endurance.
awesome smartphone
it will be interesting what the snapdragon will do. However its the highest end 800 not the regular 800 so optimalizing will be limited unless that one becomes mainstream. Tricky.

Hi guys,
I am going to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 soon. However the variant which is available to me is the N900 with the Exynos 5420 processor.
The thing is that, I am a bit confused about the GP. It is running a Mali-T628 MP instead of the Adreno 330 on the N9005 models. Will I notice a visible difference in gaming? Is the Mali that bad against the latest Adreno.
Also, do you think that the HMP patch that Samsung hinted at, to unleash the true 8 cores might affect the GPU performance later on?
The processor is the only thing that is stopping me from getting this variant. Please guys, help me out on this.

Adreno 330 is so good but
Mali in note3 is Octa GPU and clocked higher than adreno 330 (u can find and compare by wikipedia)
both of them are so powerful however adreno shows more score in graphic benchmark but it s not that high but cpu in exynos is about 2000scores more than snapdragon (in antutu benchmark)
anyway u won't lose anything if buy snap or exynos both of them are awesome
:good:

Simple question, I purchased a Moto G GPE and its on its way but i have the curiosity about how the SOC Snapdragon 400 Cuad Core compares to something like the S4 Pro that was in the Nexus 4 which ran great. I know its a newer chip but i havent found any real evidence whether the architecture is superior or inferior to the S4 Pro since it was a flagship chip but the 400 is budget. Anyone has any insight on this? Thanks.
best way to compare the two.

Snapdragon 400 is positioned more like S4 Plus, not Pro. As in marketing positioning.
Speaking in technical terms however, those two SoCs have a completely differnet architecture. S4 Plus always has Krait cores, while our S400 has Cortex-A7 cores, which is generally somewhat slower than Krait, partially because Krait is an Out-of-Order architecture, while Cortex-A7 is In-Order.
In terms of cores S4 Plus always had two cores (up to 1,5 GHz), while our S400 has four cores @ 1,2 GHz.
Now go figure what´s faster. I´d personally prefer two Kraits
Note: Qualcom had really messed up the naming in S400 series as the chips can contain either two Krait cores or four Cortex-A7 cores. Don´t get me wrong, Cortex-A7 is a great architecture , mostly because its performance/power consumption ratio, but the SoCs containg those cores should have been labeled as Snapdragon 350 or something like that.
Hello everybody, and happy new year! (kinda late )
My question is, that which phone is better. What do you think about these phones and do you have some experience with these phones??
There are a lot phones at the price around 230$, but these are one of the best ones for that price. (I think)
I prefer Galaxy S3 Neo, because of its functions and because is not that big as ZenFone 5, and because of its Android. ZenUI is not that bad on ASUS, but there is almost everything new and you need accustom to it. What I "hate" on the ASUS is design of the phone, but it doesn't matter. On hardware I think ASUS is better, but in camera not, it doesn't have that nice quality pictures and on S3 Neo look better. I will be happy If you post some about these phones what do you think is better and if you have some experience with it, if it is lagging or something like that. Just If you're happy with that phone (if you own it). I don't understand a lot a technology and I'm not expert , sorry for my english and hope you will post something. Thank to everybody.
Zenfone has 2 cores at 1.6Ghz and the S3 neo has 4 cores at 1.2/1.4Ghz. I dont know about cpu cores in mobile devices so i cant tell if those +2 cores are something wow.
ZenFone 5

Yes, it is true, but everybody says that its "behaving" as quad core 1,6 GHz... (btw. S3 Neo in my country has 1,4 GHZ CPU)

Well antutu says its 22k and the s3 neo is about 20k points. So probably take the zenfone 5 because of the bigger screen but i dont know if it matches the s3 neo in multitasking and general speed. Is it like "Zenfone 5 has an intel cpu with 2 that matches an amd cpu with 4 cores"?
I would always prefer to take qcom device because there is huge support from codeaurora and google ....
Also 1.4 x 4 ghz > 1.6 x 2 ghz , AMOLED > IPS ...
Well, I'm mostly listening to music, sometimes play games (games like Clash of Clans and more...) and browse YT or internet, so I don't think that I need some great multitasking. BTW. I have heard. that ZenFone 5's battery at Android KitKat is really draining... ASUS's Intel CPU is not acting like dual-core, there are some enhanced functions, so it's like quad-core. Also, ZenFone gets Lollipop on April, but i don't think that I need it too much . If you look at GSMArena, people are really happy with S3 Neo, but ZenFone, everybody talking about bad battery, and camera... - So, may I choose S3 Neo?
You can post some other phones for that price, for example some other brands, S3 Neo and ZenFone 5 are the most liked for that price in my country.
I'm not using my phone for games, I need some great phone, which has good battery life, big RAM (because I have a lot of apps on the background) and camera too.... it will be good, if it has some new Android (Lollipop).
Yup, looks like a new variant is coming. With a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 CPU. Kernel sources are already available on OSRC.
http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=7666&view=1&c=samsung_gt-i9195i_galaxy_s4_mini_plus_4g_lte
It will be supported big guy?? If yes, maybe i could buy it
Probably not by me. The SoC is different, so I would have to own the device myself in order to do a CM bringup.
That chip maybe 64-bit capable but i feel dual krait 300 cpu is miles ahead of quad cortex a53. still s4 mini og is a great midranger.
Hi !
What is the model number please ?
Thanks in advance !

why would they make this? s5 mini is out and s6 mini is likely in the works.

Is it possible to install CyanogenMod I9195 on this device?
Or does it need a different kernel?
Are there benchmarks around for Snapdragon-410?
Are there any differences in performance to be expected?
Thank you.

NO. You cannot install I9195 cyanogenmod onto that.
It uses different chipset and needs its own sources for a ROM/ Kernel.
Benchmark results are pretty much similar. There are many android phones with snap 410 chip.
They get around 20000 to 22000. My S4 mini running lollipop gets 24K to 25K.
And overall similar in performance. Not sure if the 64-bit sd 410 is better than sd 400 when running lollipop.

Because those other Mini's are all more massive. The specs for this new S4mini Plus indicate it is only 1 gram over the 107 gm of original S4mini models. My 9190 is about 7 gm below original, thanks to having downsized her battery. Most people probably would not appreciate the lighter weight as much as I do.
new Mod i9195i
Recently I bought this new S4 mini (gt-I9195I). I'm very satisfied with it...
Does anyone build a new/rooted mod for this device? Or where can I buy/request such mod? I also posted an question in the Q/A topic of the S4 mini.
Thanks for your effort.

Well, i just found this thread and it appears that my recently purchased S4 mini is i9195i. The phone was advertised as the 2nd spec. (1,7GHz dual core). Is this an ok deal performance wise? Thanks.
Recently my friend and I both bought a S4 mini at the same provider. I got an I9195, he got an I9195i. Performance wise both are very satisfactory. It only seems that the battery of the I9195i lasts (a lot) longer. Don't know if that can be explained by the different processor.
---------- Post added at 10:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 AM ----------
And another difference: I9195i comes with Android 4.4.4!
Do you have any benchmark scores (Antutu) for the Snapdragon 410 version?
What do you mean by a lot longer? Cand you give some numbers?

This is battery drain of my i9195i while barely using the phone. Stock rom, nothing changed, only disabled syncing and 4g.
As for heavy usage it lasts about 2-3 days.
What android is that? Can you provide more pictures? Thanks

So 12 days?? That's a lot... The best I could get was something like 7-8 days on a Trend Plus practically without using the phone; everything off, 2G mode, rooted and debloated.
Did you notice any performance related hiccups (maybe when compared to the "old" Krait 300 version)?
I feel kind of bad now that I recently bought a non-i version (the i is still not available locally) and the battery looks so much better...
