Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth HS not working with Defy on CM7 - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I had a Moto Atrix but sold it to get a Defy and an Asus Transformer.
I installed CM7 on Defy but my Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth Headset does not seem to work. The headset does not recognize the phone or the other way around. They can't see each other.
The headset works perfectly with my tablet and with other Android phones.
Any solution? Thanks

My MW600 work great with cm7. Currently running latest nightly 111115, previous nightlys aswell as stable release also working great.

Desire HD + Jawbone Icon

Hi guys,
Just to check anyone encounter issue when using Desire HD (I'm currently using custom rom from Andriod Revolution HD 3.2 with 2.6.32.33_ Buzz Sense 1.3.8.2 OCUV Kernel) with Jawbone Icon.
The problem that I'm facing is when I make or receive call from the JB Icon, the other party could not hear what I say but I could hear them clearly.
At first, I though I bought a lemon BT so I decide to test it out using my wife iphone 4. It work perfectly with any issues.
Any advise would be greatly appreicated.
Thanks
I've been using the Icon with Desire HD (Android 2.2.1/original ROM) for a while, no problems here.
No problems with my icon on DHD, LeeDroid's 5.5 gb.

absolutely, the unrivaled number one and everybody knows ...:good::silly:
@ttherapon, my situation is the same as yours, I used android on my vogue/touch a long time ago, from sd. Now over the past two weeks tried android on
my mini, first via sdcard (too slow), and then photonic rom in nand, which worked fine, and I have just put on munjeni ICS 4.0.4. I like the ICS interface better, after managing to find everything. I am having a couple of issues with 100% cpu use though. There is also iplasm's phonerty, which I will try shortly.
Thank you all for your [email protected] divxmaster1 how is the battery draining and is bluetooth with car-headset working? Is ics working fast enough with hd mini?

Hi Therapon,
Battery life is great so far. If you charge the phone at the end of the day, and then leave it overnight, charge only goes from 99% to about 96%,
I am now using phonerty ICS rom, RC0.
I dont use bluetooth headset.
ICS runs great on the hd mini!
Roll on Jellybean.
Cheers,
DIvxmaster
Thank you for your reply. It seems that android is almost ready for my needs. All I need is battery life, speed, gps and bluetooth with hands free working. For now only bluetooth is not working. As soon as this is fixed I will install too.

[Q] Audio distortion

So I have a Milestone 2 and a Defy (Bayer, orange) and I've booted them into CM10 (MS2) and CM9 (Defy) and really enjoy the roms thus far. But, while listening to music I cant raise the volume to the max cause it gets really distorted. Has anyone found a fix for this already? I've looked for fixes for the Defy and MS2 but no luck so far.
Did you test the phones with another headphones/stereos?
Or, maybe the problem is that you're using an equalizer app...
Yeah I tested with brand new earphones (Skullcandy, Sony, JVC) and still got the same problem. The only audio equalizer app I use is DSP Manager through Apollo.

There's no distortion here. Maybe you changed the configs?

WooFreakinHoo! USB Audio Fixed in CM 10.2

I have been looking for a rom that supports audio out through the usb cable in the car dock with no success. I have been running CM 10.1 stable for a while for its stability and support. Finally decided to go with some nightlies and didn't realize I upgraded to 10.2 in the process (which was seamless except for a few apps I needed to uninstall and reinstall).
Biggest surprise came when I got in my car this morning and decided to try playing music through the doc instead of through the headphone jack (like I always do when trying out a new rom in the hopes that it works).
I was shocked to hear audio coming through loud and clear. Made my day.
Can't confirm this on any other rom but if you are like me, and love the ease of docking and having music without plugging any more wires in, then give CM 10.2 nightly a try.
Awesome. Can't wait till its ported to CM11

[Q] Defy Jellybean 4.3 + Bluetooth Headset

Hey guys
How brilliant it was to update my laggy gingerbread Defy +, to 4.3 JB (CM10) i=.It was a massive breath of fresh air, phone seemed amazing until ... I found out the hard way that Bluetooth headsets didn't work correctly - I was absolutely heartbroken , while my manager's speech was reduced to mere fuzz as I was driving to work .
In the UK it is a legal requirement to have a Bluetooth headset or receiver if driving , the current job requires use of phone and van so keeping the 4.3 rom was illogical
What is the chances there will be a fix for the handset in newer roms , or should I cut my losses and just wait for a better smart/toughphone with jelly pre-installed?

Bluetooth works on CM10 (not on CM10.1 or CM10.2), so you could switch to that for now, while we wait for it to be fixed in the newer roms.
Hang on to that Defy! If you thought JB 4.3 was amazing, wait until you try KitKat!
4.3 on-words BT compatibility

I tried CM10 and CM9 , various builds and found them buggy for whatever reason . 4.3 seemed fine apart from BT , So reverted back to 2.3.6 GB
Does the community feel confident a fix for the BT will come around ?
