Any help on the subject, anyone?

this might help
if it help hit thnks

kernel version. 2.6.32.0-mck-1.3 <- that's a modaco custom rom, not an original zte rom.
Anyway to back up any rom, use clockworkmod. As you're running a custom rom, you probably already have it installed. Turn the phone off, then hold the volume down button when you turn it on. You should see a backup option there.
If clockworkmod isn't installed (if you just get 'FTM' on screen when starting with volume down held) then you can install it using rom manager from android market on any rooted phone, or you can install it using adb & fastboot on a non-rooted phone. If Mr Pigfish says that you have 'Gen1' then you need to use clockworkmod version 3.0.1.4, the later versions are for Gen2 phones.

I have a question my zte blade is stuck in android logo after I try to perform a backup of the original rom to sd, how long does it takes to finish ?

how do i get a new build?

so i currently have mjd cyanogenmod 7 nand on my hd2, i was wondering how do i install a new build on their when a new one comes out?
1. do i have to flash nand, update rom , and radio again?
2. how do i back up my data?
follow the instructions on the thread
If you're hoping for a new release by MDJ you may be waiting a while. He's not allowed to share his work on here anymore.
You don't need to re-flash everything if you want to install a new ROM though. Basically, if you're using MAGLDR (hold power button after splaahscreen) then just go to USB Flasher and flash a new ROM. Back up all your stuff with either Titanium Backup or My Backup.

[Q] Official Upgrade to 2.2 Norwegian

Hello.+
Most likely there is a thread like this one, but I could just not find it.
So here is my question.
I just want to upgrade my ZTE Blade 2.1 Norwegian to stock 2.2 Norwegian.
How do I proseed? I've never had an Android phone before.
What do I need to know to make this happen?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place or f I'm lost about all of this.
But thanks to anybody who helps me
ok first you will have to root the phone (best to do it through 'Rom manager', which can be downloaded from the app store)
just follow the instuctions on the app (first flash clockwork recovery....)
then click flash rom and it might be on there.
if not, download it from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883700
it should be on there.... i think
then save that on to your mem card
then load in to clockwork recovery (power on and home key) then wipe phone and then flash rom, then find it and click on it.
thats how to change from 2.1 to 2.2 and the languge option should be on the start up of the rom (like when you first turned on the phone in 2.1)
hope this helped, if not just reply and ill try to find a way to help.

[Q] Need SBF with CG version 5 or 6

Hi, I'm looking for a sbf file for my Defy (not +, red lens) with a CG version 5 or higher.
It's because I bricked my Defy so I flashed this sbf : JORDN_U3_97.21.51
It's US T-Mobile version so I can't phone in France with Orange. Someone told me it's a CG version 5.
If you have a solution to phone with this version in France, I'm taking it too
Thank you
So your phone is working but you have no signal or what?
ehhm, what do you want to do ???
is your phone booting and ready to go on the home screen? then you don't have to flash any sbf ...
if you can not call due to wrong baseband, there is a tool calles "Defy Baseband Switcher", that changes the Baseband to e.g. france orang version ...
hoped to help you ... and if so, please click "thanks"-button
The ~ same thing
I accidentaly installed the CM9 kernel when i should have installed the CM7 one with ICS. Then i made a nandroid restore of my previous CM7. Than... phone dead. Starting but no CWM no ROM booting.
As i have had CM7 with GB kernel i flashed ( not knowing) an old SBF than didn't booted. I tried the US T-Mobile 2.5.1. It boots, i can root it, install CWM.
But than when i try to install a CM7 nightly ( installed ok) it dies again. Starts but No CWM no Rom booting.
What to do? I don't know what SBF to flash or what method to install?

I tried Defy Baseband Switcher but it doesn't work. Thank you anyway.
SBF
You can download all the SBF's from the Wiki Page( Defy General Thread). But you are in my case. I have a thread opened in the Q&A. That SBF you installed is dreadful. So after 2 nights of searching until 4 am i got smth to work. For the record i didn't install a GB SBF. I wanted a Froyo one. The one that worked for me is this one > http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1&highlight=cg
Follow the first guide. Go to Recovery Wipe data/cache, reboot with volume up pressed. Enter programming. Flash SBF. It starts in Chinese. Don't worry. On the first screen you see press the button/box (with Chinese writing) in the middle of the screen> select English> then Next> then press Later (as you don't need the MotoBlur crap). Than Root it with Superoneclick, install CWM and flash whatever ROM you like.
Warning: Do not turn the flash on the camera. With the Kernel on this SBF you will burn it. Install another Froyo Kernel with your ROM. Don't know how> ask.
Thank you but your link is dead...

The one you installed is BL5. You can try the froyo above. Or someone PM'ed a couple o minutes ago with this option for the Eclair SBF:Root, install the cwm. Then wipe data, install kernel don't reboot and install cm7. I tried it and it did not work but maybe it works for you. Also if you don't know how to root the Eclair sbf you must do the following> Flash 2.21 , Run the archive(USB debugging On), let it finish/close by itself, flash the 2.51. Sorry, i can't attach files.. will try later

CWM plus Rom for ZTE T3020 Australia

Hi,
I have a ZTE T3020 Australian model I have been trying to install CWM. I believe the correct version is 3.0.1.4 for a gen 1 android 2.1. (i asked mr pigfish!)
It just doesn't work when I power on with vol- button pressed it just hangs with the android icon. I have to remove battery to reboot. I've tried a few other versions as well with no success.
I have rooted with z4 root and I also cannot install rom manager as it says that it is incompatable with this device.
when all this is done can someone steer me to a good rom to use on this phone. It's not a blade, I believe it is also known as a racer. It works on the 850mhz UMTS band (Telsra NextG). I am a noob and would appreciate any help i can get. can I flash a rom without CWM or is it too risky ?

[Q] HTC HD2, I'm totally lost..

Hi guys,
So, a long time ago a friend of mine put Android on my old HTC HD2, I've never really used it. But now, I need to use it and this ROM and stuffs sucks. I would like to unroot it, root it again, flash a new ROM and stuffs but I don't know how!
I'm totally lost with this HTC HD2. The actual ROM right now is a piece of s**t. I tried to Install an OpenRecoveryScript via GooManager it says that there isn't a recovery available for this device. I tried to reboot into recovery via ROM Manager and GooManager but it just simply boot the phone.
I can't go in recovery, I can't do anything, I've tried. Please help me!
Thank you so much!

Maybe you could have tried searching? The HD2 isn't a native Android phone, those things don't work. To get into recovery turn the phone off, long press power then use the volume keys and call button to select 8. AD Recovery in MAGLDR. You may need to change the partition size though, so to do that you can follow the guide in my sig. While I recommend you don't bother doing so, if you insist on wiping and starting afresh then just flash Task29 and again follow the guide in my sig. If you're not sure about what half of these terms mean then check out the guide to the terms in my sig.
Something similar happened to me some time ago. I think the best was is to factory restore the phone by downloading the original Windows 6.5 ROM to the SD card, reflashing it and then to start all over - upgrading radio, installing MAGLDR, etc.
