I am in the US and have a international galaxy s2 on AT&T...My phone is fully rooted, and I am currently running Batista70 FOXHOUD EDITION 2.1 but i cant seem to get my mms on a consistant basis....I have tried several roms so I am pretty sure it isnt that, I can send mms and have a great 3g signal but most of the time I cant recieve my mms...I can browse the internet and download from the market just fine but there again I cant seem to get the mms to recieve...It seems like on a fresh rom install i get the mms fine but then after a day or so I go back to not being able to recieve one at all...I have tried different apn settings and have made sure I am on the right AT&T data plan (HSDPPB) as mentioned in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1109983) and I still cant get anything consistant on RECIEVING! It has really been agravating and I would love to figure out what I can do to get this working right, I dont know if it is the modem software??? Is it my apn settings??? I have tried different things and still nothing so any help would greatly be apprecitated and I have noticed alot of other people in threads seem to be having this problem so if we can figure it out I would love to make a thread to help out others...thanks in advance...

I have a At&t Tilt W/Duttys dualtouch final rom radio version 1.27.11.31 running opera mini 4 On TMOBILE network tried eveything in the book and searched evey forum trying to figure out why my tmobile edge connection says connected and not be. PIE will start by locating, connecting, opening, and finally freezing. Opera mini will start progress and stop half way and freeze. My SMS works fine but my MMS also has a problem it will send a percentage of the file and freeze. After configuring everything manually still nothing I have called tmobile and still no hope all my settings are correct according to forums and tmobile customer support I even tried the lurch2 TmobileUS cab and the MMS Tmobile settings cab. I've also read on the fact the phone is 3g it will not work on tmobile until their release of 3g having to due with a test on their network. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it .

You've probably got your answer, but I use a tilt with Edge just fine. Sounds like a phone issue. I have used Duttys Roms and they all worked fine.
Did you try?
Start/Settings/Connections/Connections/Manage existing connections/Proxy Setting/ and uncheck the box next to (the network uses a proxy server to coonect to the Internet

What i do for my sister's tilt on tmo is use Network Wizard (google it) and install that, then tell it USA then TMO and let it do its thing. afterwards you can uninstall it if you care. i would reccomend changing the MMS settings to 5 attempts and to use T-Mobile Data rather than T-Mobile MMS to connect, that way it doesn't have to establish a new connection, it just downloads.

I have been using t-mobile on my tilt 8925 wm6.0 stock rom been through many planning on many more trying to find out how to put tmobile progs and apps on and remove att B.s. im am a n00b as i would be refered to but seeing as i have only owned a htc for as long as i have had a account here i think im moving right up the ranks and would really like to learn more and start writing my own roms looking for a push in the right direction Thanks in adavnce
Hi, ever since I installed JF1.5 and onwards I seem to have lost the ability to recieve MMS/Picture messages has this happened to anyone else? is there any way round it?

What ROM are you currently running?? if its 6.0r1 then look in that thread in Android Development for how to get a hold of an mms.apk and push it to your phone etc

I've been having this issue for years. I've given up on T-Mobile in that aspect, it'll never work for them.
Just have them send it to your email address instead.
Hey guys i've got a rooted Hero running MoDaCo 2.0. Im tryin to get this MMS working and cant seem to get to the APN settings. I know its suppose to be under the Mobile Network Settings but nothing is there. Ive looked at the instructions here on the forum but it doesnt give much detail. Im running on the ntelos network (based in Virginia) which im thinking could be the issue but i just wana be 100% sure

I'm not familiar with ntelos but this is the CDMA Hero forums and CDMA does not have APN menus since the data/mms functions are part of the phones programming and is not supposed to be user accessible.

Hello, So I just got my new HD2 unlocked and on ATT and for some reason I can surf the internet, send/recieve sms but can not send/recieve MMS. I have tried the various patches, triple checked all MMS Server Settings (wireless cingular com and http mmsc cingular com ) and am still not getting anywhere.
I just called ATT today to get my IMEI number updated and that still hasnt helped. I am running Touch X-Treme 2 2.0.00.01, Rom Version 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE, Radio Version 2.10.50.28_2 and I just had Rom Version 2.11.50.29 (i think) earlier today with no change.....
Any Info would be great, I've looked all over the forums with no success, I'm in the Portland Oregon area and picture messages would be nice

I have never had good luck with ANY of the custom roms on either ATT or tmobile getting and sending MMS. I'd suggest flash back to stock ROM and then try it with the correct settings. I ended up doing that and its worked flawlessly. I just had to manually customise my ROM.
I am running a custom rom and have never had an issue with sending or receiving MMS once I am done flashing this rom and testing Ill upload all the settings. I am also running on ATT

Hey, Thanks you guys for your help, I think I can do a flash within a couple hours, will PIMBackup save MMS messages that I have not 'downloaded'? And should I go back to the TMobile ROM or the HTC?
One other little thing, Should 3G/HSDPA be working with this phone on ATT's network?

Soooo.... I just recieved a picture with Energy Rom.... soooo.....hmmm.... the only thing i dont like about energy is the menu bar at the bottom....looks like crap....so hopefully Touch X-Treme can use some tweaking to get it working.

Correct, AT&T uses 3G bands that the Tmo hardware isn't able to handle (and vice-versa). You can still use their EDGE data though.
Yeah, MMS still isnt working with Touch X-Treme....
hey everbody. ive searched long and far for a fix and i just can't find it! i even emailed deathsled and havent heard anything yet so im here at your mercy! about 2 weeks ago i flashed my evo to cricket using deathsleds rom and everything including mms worked. my signal bars were going crazy so i flashed another prl to see if that would fix it and my mms didnt work after that so i flashed back to the previous prl and it still wont work. now ive edited some things and gotten it to where i can send/receive from sprint,virgin,tmo and cricket, verizon however i can send to but the only way i can receive a mms from a verizon customer is if they forward the pic to themselves first then send it to me?? i have no idea what this means but any help would be very awesome! thanks everybody in advance
