hey everbody. ive searched long and far for a fix and i just can't find it! i even emailed deathsled and havent heard anything yet so im here at your mercy! about 2 weeks ago i flashed my evo to cricket using deathsleds rom and everything including mms worked. my signal bars were going crazy so i flashed another prl to see if that would fix it and my mms didnt work after that so i flashed back to the previous prl and it still wont work. now ive edited some things and gotten it to where i can send/receive from sprint,virgin,tmo and cricket, verizon however i can send to but the only way i can receive a mms from a verizon customer is if they forward the pic to themselves first then send it to me?? i have no idea what this means but any help would be very awesome! thanks everybody in advance

Hi, ever since I installed JF1.5 and onwards I seem to have lost the ability to recieve MMS/Picture messages has this happened to anyone else? is there any way round it?

What ROM are you currently running?? if its 6.0r1 then look in that thread in Android Development for how to get a hold of an mms.apk and push it to your phone etc

I've been having this issue for years. I've given up on T-Mobile in that aspect, it'll never work for them.
Just have them send it to your email address instead.
Hello, So I just got my new HD2 unlocked and on ATT and for some reason I can surf the internet, send/recieve sms but can not send/recieve MMS. I have tried the various patches, triple checked all MMS Server Settings (wireless cingular com and http mmsc cingular com ) and am still not getting anywhere.
I just called ATT today to get my IMEI number updated and that still hasnt helped. I am running Touch X-Treme 2 2.0.00.01, Rom Version 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE, Radio Version 2.10.50.28_2 and I just had Rom Version 2.11.50.29 (i think) earlier today with no change.....
Any Info would be great, I've looked all over the forums with no success, I'm in the Portland Oregon area and picture messages would be nice

I have never had good luck with ANY of the custom roms on either ATT or tmobile getting and sending MMS. I'd suggest flash back to stock ROM and then try it with the correct settings. I ended up doing that and its worked flawlessly. I just had to manually customise my ROM.
I am running a custom rom and have never had an issue with sending or receiving MMS once I am done flashing this rom and testing Ill upload all the settings. I am also running on ATT

Hey, Thanks you guys for your help, I think I can do a flash within a couple hours, will PIMBackup save MMS messages that I have not 'downloaded'? And should I go back to the TMobile ROM or the HTC?
One other little thing, Should 3G/HSDPA be working with this phone on ATT's network?

Soooo.... I just recieved a picture with Energy Rom.... soooo.....hmmm.... the only thing i dont like about energy is the menu bar at the bottom....looks like crap....so hopefully Touch X-Treme can use some tweaking to get it working.

Correct, AT&T uses 3G bands that the Tmo hardware isn't able to handle (and vice-versa). You can still use their EDGE data though.
Yeah, MMS still isnt working with Touch X-Treme....
First of all I am brand new here so I apologize for any ignorance I may have here! I tried searching the forums for an answer to this so if this was already addressed I apologize. I have an Epic that was recently flashed to boost and having issues with sending and receiving mms messages. It always says that it failed. I went in and changed the url to mm.myboostmobile.com and changed the proxys to 0 or 0's and it still isn't working. This is occurring on both of my epics. I know it can be done because there are corner stores by me that have it functioning perfectly. The reason I changed the proxys to 0's is because that is what I did for my Samsung Transforms and it worked great (until I allowed the system update). Does anyone have any suggestions?
Best bet would be to go to the development forums and find the thread there and PM someone who has it working.

I suggest going to the thread called Epic on boost, MMS working.. and read it.. it tells you exactly how to make it work. Its in development. May I also suggest searching?
I am going through the exact same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im glad im not the only one I was able to recieve and send jsut fine but now I can only recieve only on wifi or 4g, im on boost running 2.2 ec05 stock rooted, you might be sprint but I know all my proxy information is put in correctly because it was working before,I cannot send out and also my prl does not update and prl I was thinking about odin'ning down to 2.1 to see if that fixes my issue, while on 3g I just get download unsuccessful and when trying to send message just sits there and then after 20 min red x in handcent, I still have stock messaging

I am in the US and have a international galaxy s2 on AT&T...My phone is fully rooted, and I am currently running Batista70 FOXHOUD EDITION 2.1 but i cant seem to get my mms on a consistant basis....I have tried several roms so I am pretty sure it isnt that, I can send mms and have a great 3g signal but most of the time I cant recieve my mms...I can browse the internet and download from the market just fine but there again I cant seem to get the mms to recieve...It seems like on a fresh rom install i get the mms fine but then after a day or so I go back to not being able to recieve one at all...I have tried different apn settings and have made sure I am on the right AT&T data plan (HSDPPB) as mentioned in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1109983) and I still cant get anything consistant on RECIEVING! It has really been agravating and I would love to figure out what I can do to get this working right, I dont know if it is the modem software??? Is it my apn settings??? I have tried different things and still nothing so any help would greatly be apprecitated and I have noticed alot of other people in threads seem to be having this problem so if we can figure it out I would love to make a thread to help out others...thanks in advance...
Hey everyone, so my mom is on Cricket, for her birthday i decided to get her a EVO 4g, i didn't want to deal with the hassle of flashing it to cricket so i purchased an EVO that was already flashed to it,
I called cricket and got them to enter the ESN number to my account, dialed *228, and it got activated, the problem is that i can't get either data or Mms to work at ALL, I have been setting here for hte last 3 hours searching threads on xda, google and nothing is giving me clear directions as to what exactly to do, im reading about old jiminy threads and honestly im not sure WTF im supposed to be doing, or what's still relevant to NOW,
Can anyone please help me? I could deal with it if it was my phone, but i finally gave up and gave my mom her phone back with only text/voice
THe last thing i did was installed the latest MIKG rom, tried entering some manual settings via ##data#
I am not new to the site, i used to have an EVO and currently have a sensation, i just need some clear directions as to what to do so i can fix my mothers bday gift
