[Q] So I got the Android software working but...

It seems that i am unable to access my 3g network nor able to even see my network settings from Ntelos... Any clue why this could be happening, it worked when i upgraded roms to 6.1. Or if anyone has the ntelos network log in info it would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that your APN is configured properly.

I can't find anyone with the apn info for ntelos fully. It maybe I'm just having a newb moment but I can't find any sites with the info, but i have been thinking about taking it to ntelos but dono what they will say.

Definitely shouldn't do that. As for your problem, I can't do anything about because I don't have data
Do you have Android on your SD Card or NAND. I think people have been having more success with NAND including me.

[Q] Flash to Cricket???

so a friend of mine wants me to flash his continuum to cricket. can n e one tell me how to connect it to QPST??? thx. ive already used google, ppcgeeks, here of course, &hc.

You need to put the phone in modem mode.. It is in settings.

Tell him to sell it. Only talk and text work. Ppp configs revert back to verizon so three g won't work.
And it's not called modem mode. It's Dial up networking.

I have all features working including fast internet and mms all for 55 a month, so yes, it is possible to get the phone fully working on Cricket.

is there any bodu who can point me in the right direction on how to get my phone flashed over to cricket with all settings and updates. i broke my other phone and this is an important situation so if someone can help me thanks.. i have the verizon samsung s cotinuum

There are a lot of guides for flashing cricket to Android phones
The only thing that differs from say, flashing it to a droid 2 global, is getting the phone connected to qpst initially..

I've looked for guides and so far have not found any for the continuum flashed to cricket on 2.1 update 1. I know how to use qpst and I've programed it onto my NV items and it states 7 written but isn't it suppose to say 12? But otherwise I have talk and text but haven't figured out internet or mms. So if someone can point me where I have to go and I will be glad to do it. Thank-you. Z

That's because there are none xP as I was saying, you can use pretty much any of the guides for any android phone...
And I am not sure, but doesn't the internet settings hide under the m.ip tab in qpst? I don't know...
I remember though, there is a file you are supposed to set up so that it automatically sets up a proxy out something xP
What you need is to talk to someone who got it to work xP but I highly doubt you'll find that person xP

Evo shift ## settings for boost?? 3G slow :/

Hey everybody, I'm new here, Evo shift user just recently flashed to boost. I find this forum very useful but i have doubts...
I find 3G speeds are very slow
I tried messing around in the settings like changing http dp settings to 0, but havent found much improvement. I also found many settings mention sprintpcs. I know boost runs with sprint, but I was curious as if all settings should be linked to sprint after the boost flash...
So my real question is, Can anybody provide me with information and detail on settingd in their flashed-to-boost evo shift, or android?? excluding of course any compromising codes, but mostly the ## settings in general???
Any help will be much appreciated.

U might wanna ask someone on boost for their epst settings. Maybe find a thread of a phone only on boost mobile? I'm not really sure but that's all I got

try flashing the latest prl, I had to download CDMA workshop to do that, but it helped my 3g a little... us say flashing cm7 made my phone run 10x better, GPS was faster, 3g was way faster... epst settings type##data# go to edit, and the msl should be 000000 then you can edit .let me know if you need help

well the setting should be the same +/- but cant be 100% sure but tell me how you flashed it clean esn or a different way "not talked about here " and did you do it your self ??
as far as slow 3g speeds youll find its the sprint network as boost uses the same network and dont see a fix insight a lot of of people are having the same problems

Thx guys, I installed Cyanogenmod 7 speedy, only to find GPS not working at all... and cant seem to go in ## settings on this rom either.. Only if I do a recovery on my stock OS can I edit. And it was the 'forbidden way' I flashed it although IMO legit since the equipment used is all mine.
How would I go to updating PRL through CDMAW??? Also, anybody on the boost network can post their data settings here? Excluding of course the username and shared keys???

well yeah you cant get in to setting with cm kinda sucks but the rom makes up for it lol i just go to stock but i tell you what get cm7 nightly 94 i have it on my phone and everything works gps mms the only thing that dont work is 4g

i use qspt do change my prl make sure you have your phone link to computer took for forever trying to get code right ##3424#

Thx everybody for your help, eventually sold the phone and bought a galaxy prevail for boost. Works better. Doesnt matter cause in a few days I'll be getting a free Droid Charge with an employee discount plan since I work for Verizon! sweet! XD

i have my evo shift flashed to boost, everything work perfect, just the internet it's tooo slow, what you think i can do?

My 3g wit sprint sux lol maybe its just the reciever on the phone cus i cant even stream pandora or youtube low quality with 5 bars 3 g soo i dont know man lol i wanna flash it to boost cus im paying alot for something that is slow as f****

GALAXY S2 international on AT&T mms problems...please help :)

I am in the US and have a international galaxy s2 on AT&T...My phone is fully rooted, and I am currently running Batista70 FOXHOUD EDITION 2.1 but i cant seem to get my mms on a consistant basis....I have tried several roms so I am pretty sure it isnt that, I can send mms and have a great 3g signal but most of the time I cant recieve my mms...I can browse the internet and download from the market just fine but there again I cant seem to get the mms to recieve...It seems like on a fresh rom install i get the mms fine but then after a day or so I go back to not being able to recieve one at all...I have tried different apn settings and have made sure I am on the right AT&T data plan (HSDPPB) as mentioned in this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1109983) and I still cant get anything consistant on RECIEVING! It has really been agravating and I would love to figure out what I can do to get this working right, I dont know if it is the modem software??? Is it my apn settings??? I have tried different things and still nothing so any help would greatly be apprecitated and I have noticed alot of other people in threads seem to be having this problem so if we can figure it out I would love to make a thread to help out others...thanks in advance...

[Q] Data Works, but No MMS Sending or Receiving

I'm using Blisspop 4.0 LS980 Android 5.1.1
All other data services work 100% fine, including tethering and hotspot. I can't send or receive MMS though.
I'm on the Ting cellular service and think I have the APN configured correctly but if someone has a link to the actual settings I'd appreciate it (can't seem to find it off Google).
I'd really like to get this fixed as I'm starting to miss some important messages...

Is there any way this could be a radio file issue? I'm honestly not even sure what radio file I'm on right now. If someone could let me know what radio file LS980 models are supposed to be running on Blisspop 4.0 Android/5.1.1 I'd appreciate it.

Bumping, really need some help on this. I'm busy as hell right now and could just use some help.

Thanks but I don't think so; I've double checked them. The MMS URL that I'm using is http://mms.plspictures.com which is what is recommended on the Ting site and is what has worked in the past.
I don't really think it's the radio file either, but that's the only thing I haven't really checked... This is really weird and very frustrating. I'm starting to think it's just an isolated bug on my device with Blisspop.
May try flashing CM12 at some point but I'm trying to avoid having my phone down right now because I actually need it to talk to people lol.

Do you have data enabled all times?
