[Req] Older version of GSF - Blade General

Hi,
I have a blade, and have been happy with GSF for a while. I've been on b14 most of the time, and it suited me just fine. Last week I decided to upgrade to the newest beta (b26) to check what wbaw has been up to recently.. Problem is that I don't see that many changes, but my batterylife seems to be quite a bit shorter now..
So I'd like to return to the older version of GSF... Problem is that I can't find it anywhere.. All the old links on Modaco are deleted and/or dead, and I can't find any other links.. So does anyone here (wbaw himself maybe?) have a mirror for b14?
Thanks in advance!

No .

This seems to be my problem also .
I am not getting good battery on B27.

Ah.. Ok... Well.. If anyone wants b14, someone somewhere else found me a working link:
mediafire.com/?n698qgghb2abumr

I'm using b25 and for me it is the most stable and battery friendly version.
Mirror: labanauskas.lt/blade/gsf-blade-b25.zip

old versions had even more bugs than newer ones, this is why i released new versions.
just use a good rom instead, like cm7.

hold on, i think i used the wrong wording here. it's not really discontinued, it's just temporarily closed due to GPL licensing issues. the thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944972
(look at the last post..)
once MDJ solve this issue, it will be open and get updates. I HOPE!

There are plenty of roms on this site. Take your time and learn what you're doing. If that rom is working fine for now, there's no hurry... there will always be roms for you here. Just spend the next couple weeks reading and learning about your phone hear and how to use it. All the info you need is here.
Thanks guys
yeah jus waiting for mdj to come back his roms are pretty good

Mad MurDock HoneyComb/CM tablet tweaks

link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002000
Can anyone get this to run on their adam ? It looks amazing, and the closest to Honeycomb we'll be getting for a long while I think..
Trying to flash this ROM always gives me the error 7..
I just tried it as well, with the same problem.
Sent from my Adam LCD 3G using XDA App
No luck installing on my Adam either. Would love to try it.
Curious: What build were you guys all trying to flash? I think the Gtab version woiuld be the closest to the Adam (as far as hardware specs). I noticed that they also have it compiled for the Advent Vega so perhaps that might work?
Let me know..
Chris R.
I have tried all of the builds so far with the same issue. I have mentioned it in the thread and mad-murdock says that he will look in to it.

Okay, let's hope he can figure it out.. i've been looking at the build.prop files of beast and cm7 and they seem to be having some differences.. but it's probably not a good idea to go adjust these files myself

Hello all!
My question is: is this Cm10 "stable" rom ready for daily use??
Inviato dal mio MB525 con Tapatalk 2
Subjective question
Latest build+sevenrock's extracted kernel is stable, not very fast but quite certainly usable

I downloadet it last night and I'm very satisfied with it. It's fast, no battery drain, games run pretty smooth, no FCs, so Yeah, it's appropriate for daily and non-daily use, too. :highfive:
Is not an "most stable CM10". All builds suffer from instability in some aspects. But AGAIN this is a topic from "which is the best ROM" series and is forbidden!!!

This is not a topic from the "best ROM" series, this is a topic intended to guide people in need for a stable release to which is safe to use and which is not. Like in my case it is not relevant to test 20 builds to see which is the best, i already tried 10 and couldn't find one that has all the major functions working.
For example I at the moment am using build 10-20120924-NIGHTLY and the problems with this is that it feels a bit laggy and i also can not use any kind of live wallpaper. I have also noticed a bug when I call someone, when I want to end the call, the lockscreen is active with the call controls but i can see the normal unlocked screen under it. This happens even though i was the one calling in the first place.
This is the kind of information i was looking forward to find in this thread so people can choose builds according to needs and for people to actualy be pointed to a version of a ROM not A FOLDER with a number of versions where u dont know what is working in each.

Any of the custom ROMs have some weakness and the same ROM behave different at some users. You can find the appropriate ROM for your need by trial and error method and not because I or anybody else said: pick this one - is the best!

I am using sevenrock's 0127 build, seems fluid, no lags, maybe better battery (came from latest negan). Wondering what impovements are in his 0209 build. I cannot post link to the builds, it can be found in Quarx's cm10 thread.

Rom MIUI V5

Hello, I've decided to open this topic to have more assistence with this rom.
You can find it in this link where you have to be registered
http://bbs.gfan.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5906702
However, I'm uploading it on dropbox to have a direct link and access.
I've requested help on official miui forums and they answered " **** Oppo"
Rom has many bugs, but together we can do something
To install this rom you have to flash it in recovery
Thanks
it has many bugs like signal issue
Would love to see this ROM work great!

Have you heard that MIUI isn't gonna support the Find 5? I asked a developer why, and he said that it has something to do with a resource verifier Oppo has built in and developing on that was pretty hard or something. It's really a big shame, i would love MIUI on the find 5! Without the bugs of course. Are you able to port the newest versions of MIUI to the Find 5 or is that really difficult or impossible?
( I have no experience whatsoever with porting ROMs)
If you can port MIUI's newest versions to the Find 5 you're my hero. And the hero of a lot of other people too.

Check the dirty santa thread in the roms, kernels section, I believe you can kdz back to an earlier version and then use the dirty santa method to unlock the bootloader to obtain root. Good luck
Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA Labs
Yes, you can use Uppercut and the kdz to downgrade. To use dirtysanta you need to be on 12a or 13a. And for others, the latest Verizon version is 1B which is downgradable

Does anyone know why my VS995 camera works great on 1BA version but always swich wrong side on 13A ad 12A?
Thank you so much!
Congrats on the v20 even this late after launch it's still a great piece of hardware I have two of them! There are quite a few roms and kernels that work just depends on the your flavor preference. Me personally I like desolation-rom with the dirtysanta-gamma-kernel battery life is at like 10 hours, completely debloated and amazing performance. Another variation I've been toying with is anykernel and fluenceuhd-rom dirty flashed on top of alpha-rom! You get the vulkan api and 19 hours of battery life! Anyway hope that helps if you need files or anything let me know and enjoy! Ps. Flunceuhd has great cameras you can choose from HTC, Sony, or Google cam; also AlphaRom gets you v30 camera.
That was a really good recomendation, I just forgot I did this post, I found the desolated rom, but not the fluence uhd, are you still using this configs? Which rom and kernel can you recomend me?

I think this is the mod he's talking about: FluenceUHD
But the thread has never been updated and closed only after 2 pages.
I'm tempted to try it out but I haven't got the time yet.
Happy flashing!
Im basically rooting to try this ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/how-to/lg-v20-screen-burn-fixed-t3661631 )
I saw some kernels and roms but don't know which one works since I want to use my secondary screen...
You think this rom can help me? (https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/development/rom-vs995-alpha-rom-v1-1-t3709727)
Im a little bit noob on this kind of topics.

If you want to have a fully functional second screen then stick with a stock based rom, such as alpha, roms won't affect screen issues you need a kernel that supports kcal so you can make adjustments to the display settings to eliminate ghosting and or screen retention

Im actually downloading the Alpha rom already, thank you!
The kernel that come with the Alpha supports kcal?

In the alpha aroma installer you'll see stock, alpha kernel, and mk2000, out of those the mk2000 kernel does, don't know about the alpha kernel

If you need the fluenceuhd patch I have a copy of 4.0 and the prop file for it. Can't get any other version due to it being discontinued. Tried to contact the original creator but I've gotten no reply. Also the kcal support will 100% solve the display problem. Just need kernel audiutor or other kernel manager app to calibrate. I would also recommend grabbing the GPU boost magisk mod to help with UI lag and gaming.
