Google is your best friend. Dhd can have MIUI roms installed on them. If you look in the android dev section there are custom roms that are based on MIUI.
Miui is a chinese dev teams rom, just like cyanogen mod it is based on android as its core but the user interface and experience is different to that of android that you find to break it down in a nutshell.
But Google MIUI and u will find out lots more about it

MIUI is official lol but no i don't think there's a way of flashing a RUU or it even exists

[DEV] Sense 3.5 Development

So after all these threads regarding Sense 3.5 which none worked out in a solution to having this rom stable and resized for our device i started fixing it all by myself because i want this on my phone so much. Anyone who would actually help me in resizing the rom and fixing any issues or providing logcats and stuff and be interested in the development of Sense 3.5 pm me. Development may take a lot of time but we don't have to hurry. Im not saying that i will be the one to fix it immediately, this is just an attempt.

Why not submit the idea to TeamBuzz? I'm sure we could organize roles for developers in TeamBuzz to do something with Sense 3.5

Nice idea Justice, I can help with logcat and resizing, however i have no idea in how to fix gps,bt and wifi
@rayven18 can you provide a link of the most functional sense 3.5 rom for buzz, a list of what needs resizing, what fc and things that doesn't work?

Here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1564495 This is currently the most functional sense 3 rom. It boots and you can work on it. The bugs i know is the ones mentioned in the original thread (framework-res and com.htc.resources need resizing, gps and some services dont function) Because its based on Android Gingerbread 2.3.5, we can experiment with replacing libs and baksmaling services.jar and framework.jar and replace the code with the one from a cm rom that might make the gps and other things work just fine

Hahaha its ok, i actually wanted to mean after all the threads that failed to develop this rom, lets fail again Just kidding, its a nice rom to try and will help me be a better dev

MIUI anyone ?? V5

I have been running this version of MIUI for several days and I'm really enjoying it.

So far this has been one of the best Rom's I've used.

No, not in my rom.

I'm searching daily on the sites for the next update.
This to my knowledge has only been out just over a week.
For a Beta Rom it's smooth without to many hiccups.
I use Nova launcher because I don't care for the MIUI launcher display.

We are starting rolling out this ROM only for Redmi Note 3 (Kenzo) - The SnapDragon Version as of now and soon it'll reach other popular devices as well. This ROM is named as BigBrains OS as this rom is build by BigBrains (That's us - Prast and Me. Well i'm Uvneshkumar and Prasat is my friend). Is this yet another ROM which has the features of almost any other custom ROMs? The answer is both yes and no. This ROM is almost nearly the same as that of the Lineage OS, but it has something apart from that. Well what's that? Have you ever thought of modifying something in android which you almost don't like? Or add an extra feature which you'ld love to have? May be most of you would've done the both. But how many of you have tried to implement that? Again ofcourse, many of you might have tried that also, but most of you might've failed and stopped working. Or some of you may not have enough resources to build a ROM. So why am I saying all this to you? Well, BigBrains OS is the solution to that. Sounds cool right. How? Are you going for miui rom? If yes then I am in.
In my opinion the hardware of lenovo p2 plus miui rom is great combo.

Just One Query, can you make VOLTE work ?

I might decide to unlock the bootloader if you manage to build a good rom better than stock keep up the good work!

I don't have any knowledge of porting or building roms, but lack of development for our device is really disappointing. Thank God you jumped in. I was also thinking that redmi note 4 has almost identical hardware that of p2. Good luck, we are here to back you up (most probably as testers.) But I can promise that I shall put more effort in learning porting and building.
Btw, a debloated MIUI will definitely go very well with our p2. Also, kindly try to look into other non cm/aosp based roms like LEWA OS, FIUI, EMUI, EUI, COLOR OS, FUNTOUCH OS etc.

Answering your questions... I won't put any additional work on VoLTE as it's not available in my country, but still some ROMs may support it out of the box. Building a ROM better than stock is impossible, the stock Nougat ROM is near perfect imo. MIUI why not, I'm not a fan of it, but I know many others like it.

For me the only major issue with cutom roms is the not working audio slider during conversations (volume is fixed to a mid level) and the fact that during conversation with loudspeaker the other person can hear him/herself, making the conversation impossible. There are some related messages in other threads, look for my posts.
If you manage to fix this this device will almost be perfect, but I don't use volte and I seldom use wi-fi tethering.

Well, by "better" I mean in terms of battery life since I've read lots people saying that custom roms don't perform that good with battery. I would say that a custom rom is better than stock even if it could reach that battery life.
