My phone has been working fine for a few months now, after several flashes (cant pick a ROM ) anyway, a few days ago it started acting funny. It would freeze just doing normal everyday tasks, then it would just start working again like nothing happened after about 2 minutes. Now today, it freezes on my welcome splash (the one after the htc, the windows splash). and it just sits there. Sometimes, if I let it sit for about 10 minutes, it will start up-VERY SLOWLY, and if you go into any menus, it freezes. I tried to re-flash, but it wont establish an activesync connection. Is there anyway to get the phone to flash in my situation? Hopefully, I could flash it back to a cingular rom and send it in for warranty.
Did you tried to hard reset your Wizard by resetting while holding Comm Manager and Voice Command button?
Yeap, runs through the set up, gets to the screen where it says "customizing in 3...2...1" and shuts off.
Well, today, it completely died. Won't turn on, tried a new battery.....nothing. Do you think, since it won't turn on, I may be able to sneak it by Exchange By Mail???
Fixed it! For some reason, the first time I tried a new battery, it didn't work. Tried it again just for the hell of it, and it fixed it. Strange.....

For some minutes now my phone is acting real crazy.
If i turn it on (out of standby) it normaly goes to the Slide Lock Screen.
It Does but after a few seconds (even without sliding) it goes off into Standby mode again.
If i slide i doesnt goto the Sense home Screen it just stay there and goes into Standby.
I tried re-installing the device, i did and the phone works for a limited amount of time and then it happens again.
I have a CleanEX UDT HyperROM v15.0
Hope i can get this fixed =(

Have you just installed the custom ROM? If it keeps happening regularly even after soft-resetting, there are probably conflicts between your ROM and certain other programs. You might want to choose another ROM or go back to your previous one.
Hi this is my first post on the forum.I"ve searched for similar issues,but I didn"t find anything.I bought a HD2 last month and installed various android ROM"s,everything fine since last week.Now my HD2 have this issue:
-I make a phone call and after 2 seconds the screen goes black and freeze.If I want to activate the loud speaker I can"t because screen is black and not responding.I can have the conversation,I can close the conversation from power button,but screen remains black and non responsive.When I close a conversation the phone remains nonresponsive for 5-10 minutes,and after that everything goes to normal.
-I have this issue since last week,until then every android rom that I"ve installed worked just fine.
Now I have on phone HD2_Core_Droid_Desire_HD_V1.5_Release_Version
and I"m having this problem with every Rom that I"ve installed since last week
I start thinking that it"s a harware problem,I don"t know...
Is anybody else who experience this problem?

I"ve just installed official vodafone WM 6.5 ROM for spain and I have "almost" the same issue:
-during call screen goes black and no way to open it.
-the difference is that when I hang up screen goes on instantly and no freeze.
What is that,hardware malfunction?

I"ve noticed that if I enable the loud speaker in the first 2 seconds(before screen goes black),the phone is not freezing,and no black screen,everything just work fine as it should.
I"m out of ideas...

Try an app from the Android market called 'Call Light'. It's supposed to keep your screen lit up at all times during calls, but what it has done for me is that when in a call, the screen still goes black when the phone is to my ear, but as soon as I take the phone away from my head, the screen lights up again instantly.
I had almost the same probkem as you do before using this app, except that as soon as the call was over, everything was back to normal (didn't stay black for the 5-10 mins after calls) now all is ok for me.
It might not work for you, but it's definitely worth a shot.

Yeah,I"ve already do that but not works for me.Sometimes (few times),phone app run just fine but many times I got that annoyng black screen.To get back to normal I have to do a reboot or to make a call from another phone to my hd2,then screen comes back.I don"t have this issue with incoming calls,only with outgoing calls(when I call somebody).When I make a call I have to activate loud speaker in the first 2 seconds to evitate black screen issue,in that way screen stays on during call and after I hang up I have no freeze problem.
I have "call light" installed,unchecked proximyty sensor in menu and checkedd the option that makes the screen stay on longer during conversation.

Note that if you plug your cable to pc the phone will unfreez and will be laggy for secounds, did you try to change your SD card?

Everything difficult-is easier)
Just clean dust on the sreen,where sensor is situated.
ANd choose a ROM with Tytungs kernel 12.4v3 (with solved libsound issue) or a SENSE based ROM
I've recently updated my hd2 from android to wp7, and when I lock the screen, after a minute, I try to light up the screen and I can't, then the device reboots after a couple of minutes. Also while i am using it i have freezes and the device automatically reboots. Its annoying, i already tried with 3 different roms and its all the same. I would appreciate some help.

I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G last September and it has been performing fine until very recently.
The phone works fine approximately 75% of the time, but intermittentlythe following problems occur simultaneously:
- Signal drops completely and 'NO SIM' is displayed
- The battery level drops around 1% every 20-30 seconds
- The volume and power buttons are unresponsive
- Wi-Fi disconnects
Sometimes the phone recovers from this and starts operating as normal,and sometimes the phone restarts and goes into a boot loop, eventually turningback on. Whilst the above problems occur,most other phone functionalities still work i.e. can still open upapplications, and swipe around the home screen.
Can anyone help?

have u wiped ur system (cache dalvik) before installing another ROM?
Try to pick a ROM that is confirmed to be stable to avoid bugs.
