intermittent signal drop & unresponsiveness problem - Redmi Note Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G last September and it has been performing fine until very recently.
The phone works fine approximately 75% of the time, but intermittentlythe following problems occur simultaneously:
- Signal drops completely and 'NO SIM' is displayed
- The battery level drops around 1% every 20-30 seconds
- The volume and power buttons are unresponsive
- Wi-Fi disconnects
Sometimes the phone recovers from this and starts operating as normal, and sometimes the phone restarts and goes into a boot loop, eventually turningback on. Whilst the above problems occur, most other phone functionalities still work i.e. can still open upapplications, and swipe around the home screen.
Can anyone help?
Thank-you
EDIT: I should add that since this problem started I have tried a different rom and the problem has remained.

Hi,
have u wiped ur system (cache dalvik) before installing another ROM?
Try to pick a ROM that is confirmed to be stable to avoid bugs.

Temperamental...

My G1 has recently started playing up. The problems first started with cyanogen 4.1.9999 - it would loose signal, but a reboot sorted this out and it may only happen once every two or three days if that. It was an unstable ROM, no biggy.
But then one day, after rebooting, it got stuck at the android screen then just turned itself off. This repeated several times before it just wouldn't turn on. I left it for a while and tried again later, it turns on, boots but no signal. Rebooting did nothing.
I reflashed (without wiping) cyanogen 4.1.999. and everything seems okay. But then the phone started crashing and rebooting rather a lot, and rather unpredictably. So I wiped, flashed the ADP rom and then cyanogen 4.2.1 rom. This process was a massive brainache - plugging in the usb cable managed to crash the phone within 2-5 min guaranteed, it automatically rebooted.
So here I am. Cyanogen 4.2.1 - after a complete sdcard format, wipe, ext3 repair and flash. The problems still persist! But it's temperamental, a lot of the time I loose signal still, it often reboots itself and hates anything plugged in the usb when it's turned on - making charging the thing awkward.
I used the log collector app to get these logs
http://nopaste.info/17b5351296.html
http://nopaste.info/2e98b9d044.html
At some point during those logs, the signal is lost. The log collector doesn't seem to retrieve a very long backlist, these were taken minutes apart but don't overlap, so I haven't caught a crash. I'm not sure if there are better ways to view logs/debug?
But it's all very temperamental. Occasionally it boots up and life is fine. But more often than not it will loose signal and reboot itself somewhere along the line.
Has anyone come across anything like this before? When it looses reception if I manually try an connect to a network it will say
"This SIM does not allow a connection to that network"
Click to collapse
I've read that could perhaps be a problem with the sim... but the sim wouldn't cause reboots would it?
Any advise would be great. I bought the G1 off ebay just under a year ago, so no warranty.

error: curcial_oj_early_suspend MyTouch 4G screen keep turning off random

MyTouch 4G keep turning off the display seemingly at random intervals and it stays off many times for long periods before it starts to behave normal. All other functions such as phone, alerts, receiving mail etc work normal while it is still in that state. In addition to the above, I also see quite a bit of curcial_oj_early_late_resume errors and a few others using OS Monitor to view the message log.
Here is what i have found out from 2 months of trying to fix it:
1. All buttons are always lit while this happens as if the screen was actually on (being used) - it even turns off the screen in the middle of using an application.
2. It receives calls, mails and messages as usual but the screen stays black. If I play with it, swiping to answer call, sometimes I am able to answer the call and talk normal.
3. At it worst times I stays blank/black even before the splash-screen and even if I try booting into recovery mode.
4. However, most of the time the blank screen appears just right after the splash-screen and the phone continue to boot normal.
5. Right after periods that it stays up long enough for me to see and flash a new ROM, it will behave for a while ... even hours normal ... then it starts acting up.
6. I tested it once while it was in boot mode and the screen stayed on for a very very long time without any problems (guess ruling out heat related?)
7. Even with different ROM versions it still occurs.
8. When it first happened was due to a battery drain (battery was changed to rule that out).
9. It behaves like a radical energy manager turning off the screen (why?) until a condition is meet. (recently used SetCPU to lower processor speed to minimum just in case of heat related ... did not work)
10. Power button has no effect on halting the problem once it is acting up
11. Problem seem to occur quicker after a ROM install as time progresses.
What has been done : (what OS routine or setting could survive this? ...)
1. Many complete wipes and re-installs (10+) via clockworkmod manually or ROM manager. (Many different Cyanogenmod ROM versions tried)
2. Changed battery.
3. SD card Format and tried different SD card. Also tried without SD card or SIM.
4. Tried different versions of busybox.
5. Lowered CPU speed to a constant 245Mhz
6. check if it is triggered by pressure, movement, or light ... (proximity sensor appears to work perfectly ok when I do take a call)
7. Sometimes the only way i can get the screen back on is to keep calling the phone and playing around with using the proximity sensor to trigger the wake. Takes hours of trying before that works though.
8. Tried "stay awake while plugged in" setting ... did not work
9. Tried running without adding any apps except those that came with ROM ... didn't work
10. Increased the screen time-out interval ... (even from ROM install it seem to ignore this time-out) ... if the screen stays inactive for 3 sec it shuts off the screen ... keep doing so until the interval get longer and longer
11. Used and Android antivirus to scan ... no problems found
12. Recently changed to Virtuous Unity which helped be bring it back from display off state with a press of the power button (pressing once to stop it -all button lights go out, and once more to bring the display up) ... but still turns off display frequently.
... few other things tried, but you get the idea.
Oh yea, I perm rooted from a while back and it worked perfectly for months before this started happening ... it started before I even considered to flash my first ROM.

phone hangs, restarts a lot

hi
Recently purchased a CM 11 powered Yureka phone in India from Amazon. The phone does well but off late, hangs a lot (atleast 2-3 times a day, especially during gaming), keeps restarting on its own and system UI keeps crashing, the battery never charges to full capacity, the max it reaches is 99%.
Any fix to the problem or should i opt for a return?
restart problem
I am facing same problem. what you done to resolve ?
have you changed cpu frequencies or governors?
Yureka behaving strange
Apart from restarts automatically, it has one more problem. Sometimes wifi switched off automatically without my knowledge. It is serious problem because it costs me lot of 3G data being unaware and downloading anything.
It restarts mostly while playing games. Otherwise its ok. But sometimes when wifi switched off automatically or bluetooth switched on or off, screen rotation off etc without my knowledge is serious issue. I also installed antivirus to check but found everything ok.
Please share any solution.
You guys should try clearing cache from recovery

Stock device locking up randomly and won't respond

HI Everyone
I've been having problems with the device within a few hours of getting it. I should have returned it to the store within the first 30 days but due to having all my apps installed and suspecting it was a software issue that would be resolved in a software update, I persisted with it.
The symptoms are that the device randomly locks up and is completely unresponsive and can't be unlocked. The only thing to do is press all four buttons and reboot it. When it locks up, the AOD is visible but the time has stopped. When I call the S7 from another handset, it does nothing and on the other handset I get a network message saying that I'm not available. Sometimes it seems to snap out of after 10 minutes, and other times I can leave it for hours and it doesn't change until I force it to reboot.
I've tried a factory reset and not installing any apps at all, everything stock except adding my Google account and connecting it to Wifi. No customisation, I've not changed the wallpaper, ringtones, nothing. But the issue persists.
Its been back to the store for a signal test due the issue being logged incorrectly as a signal issue. It passed the signal test and has had the latest firmware installed but the problem happened again today. I left the device for over an hour whilst I driving and then forced it to restart.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

Help - Random Reboot Problem

This is an ongoing, intermittent and devastating problem I have. My phone will be working perfectly fine, then all of a sudden it will randomly reboot. Then it will work for a few minutes or hours, then randomly reboot again. Then for a shorter time and reboot again until the phone basically can't even get through the bootup process without rebooting. It will be essentially bricked for anywhere from 1/2 a day to nearly a week (though it usually manages to get to working for 15 minutes at a time for most of the week. Then, all of a sudden and for no reason I can tell, it will just start working fine again for anywhere from several days to a month. This has been going on for at least 6 months.
It reboots during any manner of activities with the most common being phone calls, texting (I usually use Handcent Next SMS), anything with the keyboard (stock), browsing, swiping on the home screen, etc.. Really anything causes it, including it just sleeping with the screen off. The same problem occurs when in Safe mode, with or without the SD card (using as just extra storage, not phone memory), and with or without the SIM. It doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not. I have noticed what seems to be a greater tendency for rebooting to occur when the battery is low.
I am on T-Mobile (if that matters in any way for OTAs and such) and running the stock ROM without root. I'm about to try a factory reset but that has not been a permanent solution in the past.
so I just did the factory reset and it rebooted during the initial phone info setup (select your language, etc.)... I think it's toast... Does anyone know if this is the sort of thing that can be repaired for <$100 or should I just buy a new phone from ebay?
