Hey guys a strange problem with either KG6 ROM or Criskelo's KG6 ROM.
When paired with my bluetooth headset (SE MW600), i can listen to music and no problem with calls but the FF/Rev & Play/Pause buttons just dont work.
I tried playing around with all the options for the paired device like phone calls, phone calls and media and tried unpairing and re-pairing, still did not work.
Later i tried flashing to stock KG3 and then Criskelo's KG3 ROM and they work fine.
Guys any ideas why????
Can anybody else try to reproduce the same with any KG6 ROM.
I started just like yourself with strange bugs in Bluetooth and different ROMs.
I realized that is a bluetooth protocol bug.. it can happen with a certain mobile, certain rom, or certain car, or headset.
In the end, i stopped here: Download "Bluetooth Fix Repair" in the Market.
I've made an App to apply a stupid fix. It fixes connectivity issues, in 50% of the cases.
Not wanting to make publicity here (yes, it's a 1-time-only-free try), but feel free to try it.
Cheers

So... I've been very hesitant to post this here.
I originally updated to the Haykuro sapphire port some two weeks ago; I have since then tried the "Dude" mod, and the JF ADP 1.5 mod as well.
They all have exactly this same problem: My Lubix LC1 stereo bluetooth headset no longer works properly with the G1. The phone //says// it is connected with both the A2DP (music) and the HSP (phone) protocols; and the A2DP connection works perfectly. But the HSP connection is essentially non-existent, despite the phone saying it is connected under "Bluetooth Settings".
When I try to call someone w/ the phone, the audio is routed to and from the phone itself. There is no way to route the call to the bluetooth headset at all. This problem has persisted through all three versions; I have flashed and re-flashed, etc.
I have gone through two LC1 bluetooth headsets (a mishap with a rather large, rather bored dog.) They both behave in exactly this same way.
The bluetooth is working w/ my wife's Jabra 855 headset. And it worked perfectly fine in the 1.1 and 1.0 firmwares.
So... what's the deal? I'm not enough of a "computer-person" to know how to hack this myself, but if there were a way to port the 1.1 firmware's bluetooth profile to the 1.5 software, that would be awesome.
Much as it's nice to listen to music through the G1, that's not useful at the expense of the headset.
Is my only choice, if I want the 1.5/cupcake firmware, to //REALLY// purchase a new bluetooth headset thanks to the reversion/breaking caused by the Cupcake update itself?
Please help!
each new major upgrade version also comes with a matching radio firmware.
you only upgraded the system image - leaving the device unsynced with the radio image. Its a known issue. once you will upgrade your radio image most of your problem will go away.
radio image for Cupcake 1.5 can be downloaded from official HTC website.
No, I updated the radio. It had no effect on this problem whatsoever. I've done a clean downgrade/upgrade with each of the various 1.5 mods.
This is a problem with the 1.5 software. Even w/ the 1.5's radio and the JF 1.42 mod the LC1 worked perfectly.
No Devices Found
I have the most recent firmware, baseband, etc, but when I search for devices, it never finds any Bluetooth Devices.
Silly question -- but have you been putting those devices into pairing mode?
I am having the same exact problem with my BlueAnt V1 bluetooth headset. With the latest 1.5 builds across the board with the exception of the UK version that released a week ago I cannot use my bluetooth headset at all. It goes through the pairing as normal and shows connected (I even get the jazzy blue outline in the dial screen) but no audio to the headset what so ever same with my Car kit. What changed in the latest builds to the bluetooth profile?
you are not alone, same problem here with German G1 and Cupcake. It does pair with my navigation system and/or Motorola HF800. My navigation system can access the phone, read phone book and dial - but I do have no sound. Incoming calls do ring on the navigation system/headset, but if I pick up the call there is no audio connection. Any idea what to do?
Actually I consider to root and flash e.g. JF firmware hoping that this will bring any change. On the other site I am afraid that this is just waste of time and risk. Strange thing is that there are obvioulsy not many people with same problem, though they do exist and report same problem in various forums.
I have the same exact problem as well. My car radio has bluetooth HSP and A2DP. The A2DP works perfectly but when I dial a call, the HSP doesn't work. However, when I receive a call, it works. Also, I discovered if I disconnect the A2DP profile in the bluetooth settings on the phone, HSP works correctly.
opposite problem- HSP good but A2DP no good
I have the opposite problem as testing567. Phone shows it is paired for voice and media and so does my car (2009 Mazda6). AFAIK when I select AUX on my stereo; it should automatically start the music player on the phone, but it doesn't. When I manually open Music and play a song; it does not output on the phone's speaker nor the car stereo. Weird thing is that when the song is playing; the progress bar shows it playing very fast like it is skipping every 2-3 seconds. As soon as I turn the car off and the bluetooth disconnects; the song automatically resumes playing through the phone's speaker at a normal speed. I do not have another bluetooth audio device to test this with, so I am not sure if it is the car or the phone. No problems with bluetooth phonecalls. My cupcake is the official OTA release and as far as I can tell the radio is up to date (Baseband Version 62.50S.20.17H_2.2219.26I).
Im having the same problems, my bluetooth is paired and when i get a call my bluetooth rings, if i press it once to answer it goes straight to the phone, but if i press it twice i get the audio on my bluetooth. It sucks that you have to press twice just to be able to use your bluetooth. (Try it. Pair your Bluetooth, call yourself with another phone, and answer it by pressing twice on your bluetooth answer button.)
I had the same issue exactly as you describe.
I downloaded the 1.5 Radio version off HTC's website and everything works again

what's your radio (baseband) version?
mine is Baseband Version 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.26I and it takes 5-10 minutes for my already-paired parrot evo 3k to connect when my car turns on.
Hey, is anyone using the bluetooth headset Jabra BT8040, When I first bought the headset, I had no problems using it. But I've noticed a few months ago, that whenever I use the device, the person I'm calling wont be able to hear me but I can hear them. Anyone have any ideas to solve this problem?
Similar problems
I've got the same earpiece and I've had some problems with it, including: unable to pair (or saying it's paired when it really isn't), unable to connect the BT on a call, and sometimes the earpiece will just disconnect from the phone (but the call will still remain active).
That last one is the closest I've come to your issue. I usually have to put the phone in discovery mode (and the earpiece) and try repairing them from scratch.
I've heard from others with this earpiece that they haven't had problems, but I don't know anyone who has this earpiece and the Raphael. Also, I've got the Motorola S9 bt headphones and I haven't had any problems with them. So, I'm not 100% it's the earpiece but then again it could be.
i have this jabra for about 6 months and had no problem at all with Raphael!
Changed ROM
I've just changed the ROM on my phone (as in signature line) so that may change things for me with the Jabra BT.

I'm using the updated ROM and radio in my signature line with the Jabra BT8060 (wasn't it? whatever the one we were talking about in this post is) as well as a Motorola S9 and I pair it with my laptop for internet access that way. So far I have not had the same troubles with the Jabra BT as I used to. It could be due to updated drivers for the BT or the fact that I'm not using TF3D (just the new WM6.5 interface).
Either way, I'm having good results so far.
I spoke too soon on BT...
I've spoken too soon on BT. I was trying to get my Motorola S9 working so I could listen to music from my phone. No luck at all - it shows the S9 connected for both the calls and the the music, but it only works on calls and the music plays on the device with the speaker. And it was working just fine this morning. Bluetooth in general is so frustrating to me that I would literally remove it from every costom ROM I use EXCEPT for "Internet Sharing" (on an Acer laptop and netbook) over bluetooth and activesync with a PC. Not just with this phone, but seriously, with BT 2.0 it should work A LOT BETTER than it does.
I have similar issues with several different Moto H700's. I can hear them but they can not hear me. Possibly the BT drivers from HTC need a fix????
I am having a problem pairing a Jawbone 2 with my Fuze. I put the Jawbone 2 into pairing mode, then try to add a new Bluetooth device, but the Fuze can't find it. I recently installed the RRE 21231 WWE 6.5 rom, but don't think that is the problem because the Fuze still pairs with my Pioneer AVIC-F500BT without any problems. Anybody have any ideas?
I believe the RRE roms have compatibility issues with bluetooth headset.. Not sure if there was a fix in his thread. My problem was Touch Pro with RRE (few versions of ROMS), pairs and connected nicely with my Jawbone PRIME. Issue is I can't make calls with it. The calls are still on the phone. When I try to enable the headset option on a call, nothing happens.
Funny thing is sometimes when calls come in, I can pick it up with the Jawbone.. sometimes..
Anyway, I'm now using EnergyROM latest build. No issues with compatibility.
I have no problems with mine pairing to my JB2... The only issues I have with my JB is low sound with my TP. I just can't get the setting right even though I have it all on max volume it still doesn't seem like it is. Try pairing the JB to another phone you might have a faulty JB...
I have tried several different roms, kernals, and radios on my mytouch 4g and have the same bluetooth issue with all. It connects and pairs. Plays music and other sounds but when call comes through there is no sound. This is with my jawbone icon and my motorola hd9, both same exact problem. In the settings i have both media and phone calls checked. Any ideas????
I also just tried unrooting and restoring to stock, didn't help. Please help me.
I have been experiencing the same issues after installing CM 7.0.2 and RoyalGlacier 2.1.
The Bluetooth headset pairs to the phone easily. It can play music through them. When I try to make a phone call, I don't hear anything, and the headset shuts off.
The headset connects to my laptop and works without issues.
Did anyone find a solution to this? I have the same problem with the Virtuous Fusion ROM.
Hi,
I have an S7 Edge which exhibits similar behavior with different bluetooth headsets I own
During a Phone Call, the call will randomly disconnect from the headset and be played through the phone earpiece. The bluetooth device is still conneted and to get sound back through the bluetooth headset i need to disconnect and then reconnect bluetooth for that device...it usually happens again after a few minutes.
I have found that to fix this the only way is to go into bluetooth settings and disable 'media audio' and just keep 'call audio' selected
While this is a solution, it's a pain if I want to later use the headset for media audio (eg., other apps like music etc. on the phone) as i have to manually switch this over.
I haven't found any apps in the play store which help with this. Does anyone know if it can be fixed or have you experienced similar issues which you've resolved? I have tried to clear the cache as I found in some other threads, but this didn't seem to help
Thanks in advance for your help
