Hi there,
I know this seems like a total noob question, but I'm really desperate here. This was supposed to be my second ROM change. First I wanted to try Pyramid HTC WWE 1.35.401.1 - Real 3D [V1.7][RAF 1.9GB], but I got stuck on the HTC splashscreen, even though I followed the instructions very carefully. In the end I gave up and I found another ROM - [24 JUL][MAG/cLK] ..::: BPSense HD v2.2 :::.. [Sense 2.1][Raf's 1r9].
I've got HSPL 2.08, MAGLDR 1.13, radio ROM 2.15.50.14, partiton 160M, cache 5M, CWM 4.0 and everytime I try to boot, I got stuck again on the white screen with HTC logo.
It's not that I haven't tried to look up the answer in the forums, but nothing seems to help. Any advice?
Thank you very much.

Hi,
It seems that you are following the correct order of things.
Have you partitioned your sd card?
Go to ad recovery>advanced>Partition SD Card.(1024 MB with 0 MB swap)Remember: ALL data on your SD Card will be erased!(Therefore, back it up)
After partitioning in CWM,go to ad recovery and wipe data, cache partition, and dalvik(advanced).
Also maybe use CWM 3.X.X.X? I heard somewhere that CWM 4 has bugs...

I did:
1 Task29
2 reinstal MAGDLR 1.13
3 installed CWR 400 MBytes
4 Copied the data2sd zip files to the SD
5 Flashed the rom

i tried whipe the cache and installing again but it has the same result ,
what can i do to fix it?
im a newbie and don't know much, but ill try to help, have you tried upgrading the radio? also, maybe that exact rom can't run on your phone, for whatever reason, have you tried any other roms? because if it does that to other roms, im pretty sure you'll have to send it in for a hardware issue.
do you have the radio 2.15.xx.x?
and do you have HSPL 2.08?

There's nothing wrong It can take anything up to 20+ minutes to install, and pausing at about the mid-way point is usual as it takes some time to extract/install the needed files to the ext2/3/4 partition.
When install completed, it will take up to 10 minutes to boot (on first boot)
Hello guys!! please could somebody help me!!.... i am trying to install android version nexus hd2-gingerbread v2.8(GRJ22)/Android 2.3.4 k tytung R10
I have installed the software on my sd card...after boot up i get a black screen with 'htc' in green...after that nothing seems to be happening!...please help anybody!!!!!

Have you flashed the correct partition size?
The latest radio doesn't mean the best, but it should boot android.
How long have you waited before turning off/pulling battery out?
Hey guys
I've the same problem as OP, I wiped everything, including cache. But my phone keeps getting stucked at my ROM's splash screen.
Marvlesz, could Clockworkmod partitioning be the problem? I downloaded the 250 MB version for the newest coredroid ROM for HTC HD2, maybe I should flash the 400 MB version instead?
Thanks and I hope OP's problem can get fixed

I know that you have radio 2.15 but try flashing a different one as suggested in this thread.
Maybe you have bad blocks? Check out what this guys says about bad blocks:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189544
ahh, you to? :/
Check out my bad blocks thread, it may help. If not, your hd2 is dying
did you try wipe and reflash a few times? if you use DFT flash sometimes the usb connection is a little loose and you mess up your whole rom
this night i will try again with task 29 new radio and ect. if this dont work i will reply you
guys i tried this Task 29 > Magldr1.13 > radio 2.15.50.14 > cwm 150 > Hyperdroid and still stuck on android logo (((
Try to Wipe Data/Factory Reset from CWM and then install the ROM again. (you are using 150mb system partition and 5 cache, right?)
i use 150 mb partition but i use 45mb cache is this problem ?

I don't think so, but sometimes, when you create an over-sized partition the ROM doesn't boot/properly.
So you may want to reduce that to 5mb.
i'm going crazy ........ this dont work too .. ICS dont work too, stuck on black HTC screen..
i changed the partition of SD card to 1024 and now i get Go Go Go stuck
now after go go go screen , in HTC black screen in 5-6 sec and hd2 restarts ? again sorry for bad english ..

You need to change partition sizes of the nand not sd card ... look up HD2 ToolKit and it will help you A LOT . Just follow partition sizes on the thread of the ROM you are trying to run
Hi everybody.
Has anybody esle problem with stuck on boot logo MIUI after flashing MIUI ICS 2.6.8 Ported by smokin901 [tytung r3 HWA]?
I have been used the MIUI 4 by smokin for 2 months without any problems. Every week I was able to flash it without stuck on boot logo.
I was trying to make a clean install (as always):
1. Wipe (Task 29)
2. Instal clk 1.5
3. Check partition size (220/5)
4. Flash MIUI 2.6.8
5. without reboot install Bootloopfix 2.6.8
6. clear dalvik cache (as it appears after installing bootloopfix)
6. Reboot - and then my phone get stuck on boot logo MIUI (I left the phone like that for 30 minutes without no succes).
Did I miss something important?
I also tried to flash radio version again: Leo_RADIO_2.15.50.14, but it did not help. When I got back to 2.6.1-2 MIUI - everything is just fine.
Thanks for any advice what else can I try.

Due to Bad NAND blocks which your phone might have, you have less than 220mb when you partition your internal memory. So when partitioning, make a partition of say maybe 230 or 235mb so as to account for the bad NAND blocks
Hope it helps
OK - thank you very much for your advice . I will try it after I get back from work.
Another question is - is there any solution or method, how to check, if my phone really has bad NAND blocks or not? Or maybe - what is causing this bad NAND blocks?
Anyway - I will try it. Thank you very much for the tip.
i prefer this way. you can try if you want.
sequence;
first check your device if it is 2.08.HSPL, and format your sdcard ext3 or ext4 and 1gb. insert it to your device.
1. task29
2. radio rom 2.15.50.14
3. magldr 1.13
4. recovery 5.0.2.6 or clk
5. clear cache and dalvik cache.
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14;
Radio ROM 2.15.50.14
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1; ( contains task 29, magldr and recovery and also HSPL)
HD2 Toolkit 4.2.0.1

And this will help HOW?
The person has already tried the clean installation. How will doing it again help?
Thanks for any advice, I found some threads,
e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189544.
I am going to study, what should I do to check nand blocks on my hd2.
[Solved]
Thanks everybody for tips, I probably (as a lot of people do) have some bad blocks.
Anyway, I just cut out some application from ROM before flashing and flashed the rom even with lower (200 mb) partition.
But your ideas led me to stuff like bad blocks etc, so now I am able to understand things better and know that flashing too much can cause trouble....
