Hello Guys,
I'm pretty sure you are aware of the controversy between me, DesignGears& Pulser lately with my ROM (Infusion) and below is the whole truth, I'm not hiding anything anymore as you deserve the truth.
Just going to cut straight to the point.
Yes, I stole Cognition 1.13 and applied my own theme and claimed it as my own, I also stole Villain ROM 2.0 & also claimed that as my own, the situation got WAY out of hand and I have personally apologised for Pulser & DesignGears for his.
Me & Pulser are in talks to resolve the issue with my ROM & most likely it will eventually get deleted, as, honestly, I am not a ROM cooker, I'm a theme creator & wanted to show my themes potential in a ROM.
I will continue posting my themes on XDA, I just hope everybody can forgive me for what I've done, I have refunded all donations received as I do not deserve them, you should be donating to Pulser & DesignGears, I did nothing.
I have a new theme coming up with permission for use from BoyRacer and we're working on something great.

I'm not even going to attempt to make a ROM to be honest, let's leave that to the professionals I do have a theme coming up which I'm creating now, do you remember the Spectrum theme from the SGS1? Well, it's like that, but better

I think you're looking at this from the wrong perspective. I AM using his theme as a basis of what my theme is going to be like, it's not going to be just copying and pasting and done, I asked for permission from the dev so I could use just a few images from his theme and he agreed and wished me luck, technically it is his theme I'm just adding to it to make it better for the SGS II. So, it's half porting, half adding to.
Good of you to man up, apologise and refund donations. Anything less would be unacceptable, as I'm sure you know...
You were in the wrong, you know it and you're doing as much as can be expected to make it right.
The many people here who will have lost any faith and trust in you is going to hurt, I reckon, but it's deserved.
Why not start again by updating the black theme that you had started on (with permission, for those who didn't know)?

I actually used the theme I ported from the SGS version just added a CM7 battery to it. Should of told you.
Interesting,I realy liked that ROM,hmmm,thanks got,I've found a replacement ROM,which is rock stable.

Regarding the thread. I'm all about sharing stuff and if someone can improve it in any way then great and I don't care for these arguments about who "burrowed" what from whom as long as the person's work is credited. In a way falsely taking credit for someone else's work is kind of a shady move but manning up and doing a full apology with disclosure of what you did kind of makes me like the OP a bit. I'm hoping it's lesson learnt and we can move on with the OP doing some great themes for the community.

- Fasted release yet – I AM SERIOUS (getting towards the end of development until A newer leak I am afraid)
- Rougly 75% optimized
- Fixed some syntax errors in vital scripts
- Cleaned up each boot
- Fixed Permissions issues

Isn't that the point of "OPEN SOURCE" I mean lets be honest here. No dev and I mean NO as in NONE OF THEM build an android Rom from scratch. They take from the release and build it to what they want right?? So.... what did King really do? He didn't give credit?? Funny I look through these thread and no one gives credit to Android or HTC or anyone like that. Ban them all I guess!!

Aria has been more difficult than originally thought but i sure someone will have one out soon dont give up hope
He is actually giving credit to other devs for it on his site, its a decent list so it prolly is just all of their work with one thing changed by him again.
It is not the fact he did not give credit that bugs me it is the fact that he would take someones rom change one thing then call it his own, if he really knew how to dev there would be more work on his end.

You mean like Defcons CM6 Test builds? I'm pretty sure he didnt even change anything just a straight rip from cyans github and nobody got on his ass about it. Cyanogen even helped him out a little stop hating on King just cuz it was the thing to do like 2 weeks ago every dev is using the work of others and calling it their own with a few little changes else every Rom should have the words HTC or Google in the title. Cyan changes quite a bit but in reality its just a drop in the bucket compared to the original work put into the source we're all handed and encouraged to freely modify and distribute any way we desire with or without credit given

Then why don't you get everyones work and make a rom out of it? I honestly don't think that it's easy to dev, spending hours on tedious work. He still put it together and got it running which is more than I can do alone. Is a giant Android Jesus going to come down and smite him of his deving powers? No. He puts time into it, that's all I need to know. I see roms like someone mentioned before of roms from Cyo's github and his other mods. People got crazy a while back when someone made a rom from Cyo's github for a rom that Cyo hadn't even released and he had to lock the thread...why? Because people get butthurt and think that it's "stealing" or whatever they want to call it. Every dev is different, they have their own preferences and all have different setups. Some create things for other developers to use. >:O

He Made a theme and every once in awhile would change up his theme..i think he copy and pasted 2 or 3 things on to his theme from another theme..he thought it would be a good addition to his theme..and BAM!! he got banned?? he didnt source the things he got but cmon--Thats were the Frankenstein name came in..its made up of different parts..

As I was saying king was using other people's work then, would call it his own, and he never gave credit to the work and mods done by others, had he done that he would still be here and maybe wold have finished a rom (completely).
People please stop saying we should just forget the meaning of open source... open source does not mean and is not an excuse for copying others work. Also if your defending him.. put some thought into it.

Since it appears that I am not going to receive a message from the XDA staff or the member who has made the complaint [which is a requirement of the rules I was supposed to have broken - see below], here is my response:

If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission, and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails then you may contact a moderator with clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence you created the work then in the spirit of sharing all work will remain posted on the forums.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

Using the stock kernel provided with the rom I have not been able to access my external memory card (haven't cared either b/c I never use it). I see no grounds for a continuation and thread should be re-opened.
Upon re-reading rule 12, it appears that both the member who made the complaint and the Mod who closed the thread will need to review rule 12 as the protocols that it sets forth were not followed.
Let me also note here that Sombionix and myself have a great working relationship and that I do not expect this to change that.

I contacted @Krylon360 last night and told him that wasn't a good thing.
I hate how someone can kang someone and NOTHING happens but when someone else kangs someone everything happens.
When I talked to him I told him what he did wasn't good & he just said well they put a lot of work into it.
Let me tell you, my secgps script is in bionix, opened a case, nothing happened. I sent stock, mine, and his, and they told me nothing could be done because of the '#Generated by' at the top even though I sent stock aslo (Which is way different)
I spent a while to get that to work for some of the people having gps problems, and to my suprise krylon knew what GPS script I was talking last night (I also have screenies, but not trying to start anything) He said "Yeah, Frost isn't using the one that is in bionix"
If they wanted the dev wars to stop, why did they start this again?

This kanging subject has really gotten out of hand. Maybe i am wrong since i am not a dev but tell me this ain't most of the codes,scripts,kernel,and such written by google or the phones manufacturer and the devs just change a few lines of code and such to basically say that it his or hers. If thats the case android wouldnt be open source in which its suppose to be. everyone steals from everybody thats the way the world world works get used to it. I'm sorry but team whiskey should be called called team drunk with power or team anal retentive. If they are so worried about everyone kanging their brilliant ideas I'm suprised that they don't stop the themers from themeing their roms since you know how anal they can be. Which in point somehow i feel they really cant say anything cause if it wasn't for supercurio and his voodoo injected kernels then where would their rom's be thank goodness he says that he doesnt care who uses his work too bad everyone can not think and be like he is. unless you can truly prove that you built your kernel, rom, etc from the ground up with no source or anything then you probably are in the same boat as the one's you are accusing of stealing your work.

All I want to say is I appreciate each and every DEV and every TEAM on here at XDA. But really, who cares, who does what and who did what first. We (consumer) appreciate it all and I feel you all get donated to equally. With that said....

Everything I've seen from EDT, they always give credit and offer info to anyone about where they get anything they use. You guys seem very honest, and I don't know why anyone would freak out about you using anything from them.

UGH, It seems as though all devs play nice with each other for a couple weeks and then something like this pops up seemingly out of nowhere.
It's like the menstrual cycle of XDA developers. lol.
I am not partial to any certain DEV. I've first used TW roms then made the move to Trigger. Both great teams who put out great stuff.
Hopefully this gets worked out. I mean come on guys. It seems at least to me all devs try to give credit where it's due. Can't we all just get along?

WHats funny, is I have seen in TW threads, EDT members giving them certain help and vice versa. Just in the one krylon is working on I see JF giving help with certain scripts and krylon using them to adjust things to get them working. So why in the world would he be upset.
I usually supports TW and their roms but in this case I would have to go with EDT.
It just seems a little extreme to immediately report a thread and not be able to talk privately before public actions were taken.
In addition, obviously at one point TW posted the source, or at one point given it to EDT. Now, EDT used it in a rom and has given credit to TW/EB in their opening post, I failed to understand how this is constituted as Kanging.

I've seen Master help both TW/EDT, Ive seen the xboarder help with MUIU, I've seen EDT help TW, and TW help EDT. It's been great here recently, why ruin it now krylon? I followed you and your work closely and this will not effect that, but this was way out of line bro!

i don't think any dev here will probably say i did all the work by myself i dont need help doing anything from anyone i built the kernel,rom,themed,etc... by myself. i even manufactured the phone and distributed it out of the trunk of my car this is totally mine.

Correct me if im wrong, but wasn't EDT a collaborator in the original build of the 2.2.1 kernel base that both TW and EDT are using? I don't see an issue here as they have just as much right to use the 2.2.1 kernel as any one else does.

i did post a comment on your thread asking you to pm me but you never did and i got impatient and hyped up about things and i just rushed things and posted finished stable builds of your rom without your permission thinking things would be okay if i emphisized 3x on the thread i didn't do anything but finish your rom all credit goes to you for all other work. but again i went about things the wrong way i wasn't trying to take full credit for your rom i thought i made that clear in the first post but i guess saying it 3x still isn't the right way to go about things, glad to see we're working things out (btw everyone check out the title of his thread now ) for the better now bro! so i'd like to say this publicly, SORRY FOR USING YOUR ROM WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION LIQUID! You have some INSANE issues with understanding permission and crediting, and as I understand it, this isn't your first time. It doesn't matter if you put my name in 72 BOLD pt in this thread, you never asked me and you posted a whole damn new thread for it. That's just not ok.
If you really want to be "omg super-hero dev", you need to start earning your fellow dev's respect, and right now, that's not working out for you.

i said in my rom's thread that it was based of nfx rom and i gave him credit, i said what i did. i didn't do what i did with liquid's rom, two completely different things... il Duce ik i screwed up with this rom and again i won't be making any mess ups like this again (me = thinking before my actions from now on xda) sorry

again we talked things out and i'm sorry bro. and yes i may just be improving others work (the espreeso 2.1 rom i posted) and changing things, i never took full credit actually most of it goes to nfx b/c everyday i wake up he has a pm in my inbox helping me out with the espresso 2.1 rom, it wouldn't be where it is at without his help. only thing i can take full credit for is my build.prop's thats the only thing i actually did from my own work as for the espresso 2.1 rom that was from the help of many other members on this site, i never took full credit for that rom. i use the term my rom, when i refer to the espresso 2.1 rom, b/c i changed it, not b/c i developed it from scratch and did everything to it on my own, i'm not a super-dev yet lol. i'm just improving other's work and learning along the way and giving them credit and asking permission along the way from now on until i know enough to make something of my own again (besides text files lol) that will be of great help to the community....but for now i'm focuses on improving my rom (AGAIN IT ISN'T COMPLETELY MY ROM MANY OTHERS HELPED ME ALONG THE WAY) and helping others with their work for the hero and problems....first person on the list....liquid!!!!!! (we're pming each other now folks working this out for the better so its alright)

You'll grow to understand what it means to command respect here, and I'm sure you'll earn it from everyone. This place is bursting with ideas and creativity, but just PM ROM devs in the future. Every ROM dev needs help, there's no denying that. Sometimes the help you have to offer isn't enough or isn't to their preference, but there's never any harm in PMing to find out.
As far as my ROM goes, with your help, we'll finish this up and finally put an end to all this over exaggerated madness.

I'm proud to call you a fellow human being. I've been watching this escalate and deescalate and I must say it's been a roller coaster ride. I agreed with him, to take over his thread, but then, some users posted links of modified roms of his, which were designed to mess up people's tablets, so I requested the whole threads be deleted.
KJY put out good stuff. And he worked hard, and asked for no donations or anything in return. He did it for the users. And he supported his work, like nobody else.
XDA, had a loss....... And the users, will suffer for 1 persons remarks.
And that, is the end.
Trust me, he is just fine. He is messing with the Transformer prime as we speak.
So expect an ICS Prime mod in their forum soon.
And yes, I will pass his "hello" to those who used his rom. And his regards.

Dudette , KJY's Roms and Civato's are completely different. As they may share the same build, you cannot compare them.
Civato de-odex's and zipaligns
KJY uses origin odex
Civato has lot's of scripts in init.d
KJY stays stock
I could give a ton of differences.
Both Roms are great, but, you can't compare them as being the same.
Like comparing a Mercury to a Merkur. Both are from Mercury, but 2 different beasts.

Now, real HAKA i.e. Mohak Rastogi is here to say sorry to all the great developers whose work his brother stole. He feels guilty on his brother's part. He just wants a good farewell and want people to forget whatever happened in last 2 months. HAKA is not a thief.

Dude you din't loose support. Keep on making roms your Dev status will be returned. I got banned and just came back you think ill be a R Dev some day? ah ahhahaha never. Maybe in a few years. But really feel bad for ya tho. Din't you create a port for the X8 honeycomb? 3.0 ? I saw a video too, if you did that proves that you are a dev.

you were the op of a rom that you didnt know anything about?!
why wasn't never being mentioned that it was your brother who continued your rom?
why didn't your brother make an account and post his rom, while prime hd were stopped at 6.0?
you cant prove anything but personally i believe you!(i just believe that if you were a mere "thief" you would have stopped and you would just let this news die, but coming here and open a thread to explain, i think you are not that way.)
good luck with your studies and i really want to see some work from you in the future, even though i see that its complicated!

I created GingerFroyo when I was a newbie..noone is a by-birth dev...i don't say i am a great dev but still I am learning...
Let's put it this way:
We still do not know whether HAKA is lying or telling the truth. What we do know however is that HAKA apparently did give up his RD account to his brother.
Now, I ask, how responsible is this act? A RD is meant to be a developer that has produced substantially original or significant work for a device. Has his brother produced such work? Apparently his brother simply wanted to continue his work. Is his brother a RD? That remains to be seen, and judging by how his brother stole GDX, probably isn't. Hence, we reach the conclusion that his brother should technically not be worthy of RD status. In that case, is HAKA even justified in lending his account to his brother? If his brother wanted to continue his work, he could just simply create a new account and continue from there.
Furthermore, how are we even sure if HAKA's story is true? Hence do not just assume straight away that HAKA's brother was responsible for the stealing act.
Lastly, do not blindly support a ROM just because it was fast/feature-packed etc. What is more important is whether it is original work. If it isn't, and permissions have not been given, it is meaningless as it is basically an act of stealing others' work.
I'm not judging whether HAKA is innocent it not. I'm just suggesting that we all act rationally rather than act based on emotion. Thank you.

I'm not going to point fingers here, nor am I siding anyone. Gonna sit on the fence on this one. All I know is there's no point pondering over past events. What has happened has happened. I've been through my fair share of hell this year (my life outside of XDA) and all I can say it that no one wants to see or hear our sob stories of the past. What they do want to see is how that person picks themselves up and proves everyone wrong. I'm not saying HAKA MUST continue his developing nor am I saying he shouldn't. It's just my 2 cents of advice from my point of view...
I know I cannot prove it...that's why I said it's a 'story'...
I don't want to prove it to anyone actually, I just wanted to say sorry from my side to the developers, that's why I created this useless thread...

I used prime hd 6 for nearly 2 months and never gave me problems, so i think you are a good developer, it does not matter if you are a recognized one or not, so i thank you for all your work, oh by the way, if you cook an ics for stock that would make you a GOD developer haha good luck, remember you have the support of your rom users

Rohin and Spyder have very valid points. We can't be entirely sure of what is the real story, and as HAKA pointed out he's not out to prove anyone anything. But it's nice that he at least offered an explanation. I'm gonna stay neutral, too. We don't have the facts, and it's pointless to dig up the past and do some finger pointing as it's not really gonna do any good. And to primehd/haka supporters, well, he became an RD once - I'm pretty sure he can do it again if he wants to.
