asphalt 6 FC - Acer Iconia A500

my asphalt 6 force closes when I touch on the screen for more than 2/3 fingers at once. anyone mind telling me the version which works perfectly on the iconia? I'm running virtuous galaxy rom btw

Performance issues games

I'm running the GB sbf and overclocked at 1250MHz/62 vsel. One particular game is Fruit Ninja by Halfbrick and the number of swipes and lags makes the game pretty much unplayable.
I have tried it on a clean boot and the same performance issues exist (it was the same before they released multi-touch support in the game as well). Has anyone else found similar problems?

Ok, I tried two other games Raging Thunder 2 and Hyper Jump. Raging Thunder 2 simply switched the phone off after about 20 seconds (tried three times same outcome). Hyper Jump was also unreliable so I unrooted and removed the overclocking and the games have become more stable but not bulletproof and all seem to suffer intermittent lags. Does anyone think this is simply a hardware issue or another added advantage of motoblur?

This is what I experienced so far. Downloaded Fruit Ninja few days before it got multi touch. Found it really laggy and wanted to give it back but was too late for a refund. Then I updated my version when multi touch came along. It was better but not really smooth.
Once I disconnected my internet connection it once again became smoother but not as it is on iPhone/iPod Touch. But now it is absolutely playable and I'm getting very good at it.
I have the German Version, unrooted and not overclocked. Of course, I swear that Motoblur makes it lag as well.
What I recommend to do:
1-disconnect internet and try
2-back to stock, maybe downclock cpu and try
3-if not yet, update Fruit Ninja
4-Try to disable Motoblur with TitaniumBackup. There is a thread floating around here in the forums.
Keep us updated with any progress =)
Regarding other games I don't know.
I don't have my Milestone 2 yet, but from what I've read re MotoBlur it is a complete POS, and I would probably lean towards that causing lag on the phone as reports from people who have removed MotoBlur say the phone is now incredibly fast and responsive.

It seems this is the way to go, I'll give it a go at some stage but it isn't critical as I use a Nokia N900 as my daily. Would love to have Maemo5 with Milestone hardware
I managed to remove the packages as Shellite recommends in this thread and performance is now outstanding.
The method isn't optimal from an aesthetic point of view but it does do exactly as intended. Just be aware that if you remove things like the blur widgets you still get the option to add them to your desktop but when selected they don't do anything.
Another thing I noticed in contacts and other areas where linking to social networking features all goes a little pear shaped if you have removed those services.
Anyway, it works well but until a nice clean rom is available the M2 won't be replacing my N900 anytime soon

Dungeon Hunter 2 HD, running stable on the Galaxy S2?

Is Dungeon Hunter 2 HD fully compatible with the Galaxy S2, I some times get a random application close ( no FC ) anywhere from 5mins to a couple of hours into the game. Im using version 1.0.0 in XXKG2 with CF-Root XXKG2 kernel 2.3.4, I've also tried the 1.0.6 version but the textures are all messed up / missing and it makes the phone run extremely hot! running v1.0.0 makes it just as warm as running angry birds!
How long have you guys played w/o any random exiting?
Well last time i tried to play the game it wouldn't let me download the DATA package so i never got to try it out, but one of my friends got it working and he never seem to have problems though
Running all fine here, no FC's, and phone only gets mildly warm when playing.

What version of the game are you running, how many hours? provide more information
Running version 1.0.0, about 9 1/2 hours played.

Games on dzo's ICS

Hi,
Asphalt 5, Asphalt 6, GTA3, Sims, every game seems to crash after a while.
Is there anyway to make games stop crashing on ICS?
I rarely see people reporting the same problem, am I and a few others the only people experiencing this?
That's because some games just don't work correctly on ICS

CM 9 - CM 10 games that works or not.

First I would like to say thank you to the devs that works very hard to make CM 9 and CM 10 possible for us.
I think that this thread is very usefull for people that want to try CM 9 or CM 10 but also loves to play games.
Many peoples say that CM is not for gamers, but let's not forget that sometimes a smartphone is a very good companion
for many of us. Of course, I started this thread thinking at action 3d games, like the one developed by EA, Ubisoft, Gameloft,
Disney, Konami or others like that.
So, if you have any experience with CM please share with us what games works for you and what games don't.
For this you should also provide some informations about your combination of rom-kernel, and if you use any
software that helps you run the game.

Try using version 1.0.1 Asphalt 7, you may have more luck with that.

I confirm Hot Pursuit works with stock CyanogenMod 10

maybe you should try 'disable H/W overlays' under developer options, if present. Worked in case of Dead Trigger on my CM10 running Xperia S.

Gameloft HD game ICS support.

The thing is that while ago when ICS cam out there was a big fuss with theyr game compactibily since most of games crashed after intro and so on. I am currently on v10k and I'm experiencing fc after logo in DH 2 ,FC in Sacred Oddissey after cutscene in game ,and so on. I tried those games on CM10 too but I still have those problems. Does anyone is running them smoothly? And if you ae what software version are you running on?
