Im running CM7 nightly 124. After reboots, it doesnt save my cpu settings. It reverts back to ONDEMAND 245/1024. Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?
I installed kernel 2.6.35.13-CM7-Faux and the same thing, except its on smartass 245/1113
I had the same issue. I went into applications and cleared the set CPU data, ran fix permissions, rebooted and for me the problem has not happened again.

I don't have setcpu, but I cleared the cyanogen settings and did what you suggested. It's working now. Thanks!

I have just rooted and installed kaosfroyo v38 on my Droid Eris. I am using LauncherPro. I was having serious battery life issues until I installed the latest CFS kernel (v9). Since upgrading my kernel, battery is great but the app market is broken. When trying to download and install apps, I get a download unsuccessful error.
I've read and read this and other forums for a fix and can't seem to find any that work. I did find some answers, but they didn't work. I cleared data and cache. I did a dalvik wipe. Did the market fix. Nothing works.
Strangely enough, I can install Verizon apps from the market, no problem. Also, some apps can install fine, like Best Buy. Specifically, I am trying to install "The Best Card Game Ever - Yaniv".
This is my first post, thanks for understanding my noobishness.
Try downloading "Eris Market Fix" from the Market, that's helped me in the past with similar issues.
As I said above, I did the Eris Market Fix. No help.
Have you cleared the Market's cache through Manage Applications? I've been running into the issue recently also. I'm using FroShedYo and that's seemed to work recently. Clear the cache on the Market app, reboot, and try the download again. I've also read where clearing all Google related app's cache helps, like Voice, Talk, etc but I haven't had the need to go that far.
Yep, did all that. Still not working.
I realized this thread is probably in the wrong forum. Sorry. I can't figure out how to delete it.
Again...noob.
I had to wipe the delvik after the fix when that happened a couple roms ago, and it fixed the problem

Yes... after running the market fix, you need to reboot into recovery and do a dalvik wipe. That should help with the issue.

Maybe it's just an apps2sd issue? I'm assuming that v38 + cfsv9 regarding apps2sd is not copacetic. Settings->CyanogenMod settings->Install location. Perhaps your install location is set as automatic or external.
After I recovered to CELB from KGB my market was broken, market fix and cache clearing dalvik and app did nothing... so I beat it into submission, tee hee, uninstalled market and reflashed gapps. Eventually I will have a computer again and will be able to fix things with more grace, but this method doesn't ever fail me.
Brand new A7. Flashed newest official eLocity firmware (now I realize I didn't need to do that), Wiped, then Installed DexMod v1.3 then BT Fix.
Android Market, after initially opening up and having me set things up, just force closes when I goto the Apps section. What can be done to resolve this or is this caused by DexMod and I should not install apps via the market?
Calendar FCs and YouTube just closes immediately without any message.
Looks as if Calendar also FCs.
I had the same issue so i went to apps setting then manage apps then to the program that was fc i then cleared the data and restarted that program and it worked just fine. Hope that helps

I had similar issues after upgrading to 1.3
My issue was that I remembered to wipe/reset, but forgot to clear cache.
Went back and did that step and haven't had a problem since.
So i updated CM7 to nighlty 80 and the OC kernel then i wiped battery status and rebooted. when i open the netflix app it loads everything then freezes (i cant scroll or click anything) i have wiped cache uninstalled it reinstalled it, and the build.prop hack. any help?

Every build I've installed that uses .32 kernel (OC or not) is causing massive issues with any flash-based app, including Netflix. This includes my test loads which are always new/fresh installs on verygreen's SD card install. Doesn't matter which version of Flash I've had installed (10.1, 10.2, 10.3)...
Anything with the .29 kernel still runs fine. If you run across a fix please post, because that's the only reason I'm still running on the stable build.
So when I open TB It does all the stuff that it always does and then after like 2 secs my phone just reboots :/ This started happening after I wiped dalvik cache, atleast I think it did. I tried uninstalling it and re-installing frtom market but still the same problem :/
Really need help!
try re-flashing your ROM with clockworkmod
Go to manage applications and open TB. then clear data and cache. May be solved. Worth giving a try before installing new rom.
Even try uninstalling and re-installing.

Maybe OC?
I had problem with rebooting buzz while using TB. Everything back to norm after restoring stock cpu freq.
None of the above worked, so guess I'll just have to flash newer nightly and see if it works..
I was running cm-10.1-20130222-NIGHTLY and Faux's new 7b6 beta kernel. I had just overclocked to 1.8ghz and had run some benchmarks when I decided to get Geekbench and try that too. It installed fine and I clicked to open the app when the entire system froze and it rebooted. I then got stuck on the boot screen so I though i must have over clocked it to hard so I wiped cache, reflashed cm-10.1-20130222-NIGHTLY and the stable faux v6 kernel.
Once I got in, the wallpaper had reset, when I tried to open any paid app it insisted that "App not installed"( when I could see the package in the /apps-asec folder), i couldn't re install the missing paid apps (error -24) and some free apps had its data wiped. I though it might be permissions so I rebooted to recovery(which was unusually laggy) and fixed permissions, which didn't help.
This is the strangest occurrence I have ever had on my Nexus 4. The system seems to work fine, besides the above problems and a simple wipe and flash should fix those problem. I understand the freeze was probably caused an unstable overclock but why did I loose my data and Android cant find my paid apps? I just fear i might have damaged the flash storage somehow and am mad I lost some semi-important data. Does anyone else know what just happened?
AW: [Q] Sudden reboot and lost app data?
This has also happened to me a minute ago. Using Rootbox 3.7.1 as ROM and Fauxkernel 7b6. A lot of data is suddenly gone, when flashing gapps I can't use my phone at all anymore because the setup keeps crashing and yeah. I tried wiping cache etc but without success. Gonna do a factory reset now..
