Will the international note 3 work on both gsm networks for att & tmobile hspa+ network?
I don't use lte but would be nice if I can switch between those networks and still have hspa+ speed, similar to how my Xperia z works.
I travel a lot so having gsm compatibility is extremely beneficial
Thanks

For the Note3 N9000 the supported bands for UMTS/HDSPA are 850/900/1900/2100. These bands will work well on AT&T's 3G network, unfortunately, will not work on T-mobile's network except for the few places where T-mobile has activated their new 1900 MHz frequency at.
I knew that TMobile's 4G was on 1700Mhz and they were expanding their network on 1900Mhz to attract unlocked ATT users. That being said, the coverage of 1900Mhz is smaller than 1700Mhz for sure.
According to the Note III spec on Tmobile, it didn't show 1700Mhz, does it mean that the Note 3 Tmobile version cannot work on 1700Mhz of TMobile but 1900Mhz only? Or, 4G LTE is only on 1900Mhz?
I have the option of ONLY getting a Verizon LG G2 and a Sprint LG G2. However, I will be using whatever phone I get on T-Mobile in the US. The bands supported for both phones are below. Which one should I get for the best compatibility with the T-Mobile network?
Sprint - LS980 [17]
GSM 850/1900
CDMA 800/850/1900
UMTS 850/1900
LTE 1900(25)/800(26)/2500(41)
Verizon - VS980 [16]
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
CDMA 850/1900
UMTS 850/900/1900/2100
LTE 1700(4)/700(13)
Get the Verizon version. Their phones have the GSM portion unlocked out of the box. You'll only get 3G on T-Mobile where they have refarmed on 1900.
There is no such thing as an "unlocked" Sprint LG G2. Infact Sprint locks out the GSM portion of their phones to domestic GSM networks. Don't even bother.
Which carriers in US allow full 4G LTE network compatibility for the unlocked global model (XT1572)?
Looks like t-mobile is the winner.

Any updates to this for First Quarter of 2017? and if so which US Cellular LTE Bands will T-Mobile be able to Roam on?
