screen temporary burn in/left overs visible... - Galaxy S II General

Ok I"ve send in my phone for the left yellow/darker problem; Got my phone back but offcourse it's stille there. Maybe a little better than my previous one, it's repared so no complete new phone.
But this left over/ temporarly burn in is still there. Haven't read much abouth it.
Just saw it again now, I'm typing a message, and when in that message I use the pull down menus I can see the contoures of the keyboard in the grey area of the pull down menu for abouth +- 15 seconds after it goes away...
Is this normal? The previous screen had it too. Or does it has to do with something else in my phone except the screen?
Thanks in advance guys!

well as you know its a defect in the screen itself... hmm this is what im thinking of doing as i cant return my phone since its been 7 days... im thinking of buying a new sgs ii from the same store then return it but put the phone i have now in the box... wonder if it will work...

So it's a defect and not every screen has it? My screen has been replaced, but this, besides the yellowish left side, is still visible...
So after a repare this is also still there. So the amount of screens with this problem should be large in amount too? But haven't read abouth this much...
Or I should be that unlucky that just MY 2 screen have this.

A picture of my phone...luckly, it's no big deal... I haven't seen this effect/ghosting since i changed the stock keyboard.... The yellow tint upsets me more...

Yep that's it!
Ah ok, gonna try changing the stock keyboard. But sometimes it's not only the keyboard, but I can also see contoures of other things. Pixels take long to adjust it seems?
I can also see these left overs in the grey bar of the pull down menus showing on your picture, the one where you put your thumb on. When I pull it down I can se contoures of text under icons, in it. Also dissapearing. You have to look closely.
Also in the stock weather widget(and other things) that the blue of the sky does not stay the same when moving the home screen slightly right(because you can't go left), not all pixels display the color as the previous one. This explanation sounds weird, but do you know what i mean?

Wow, that's really weird. To me, that's much worse than the left side banding which to most is really hard to detect. I'd call what you're describing ghosting or artifacting. I don't have it and would guess if more people did we'd have heard about it. I wouldn't even know where to begin in trying to figure out the cause. Hardware? Software? App conflicts?

Well, i haven't noticed this ghosting anywhere except when writing messages whith stock keyboard...even if a leave the same picture on the screen for some time, i can't see any ghosting. However, SAMOLED+ has clearly some issues with grey tones which show all kinds of problems: tinting, ghosting, etc...
I think when you move the home screen around there's some loss of quality so the phone won't slow down. I'm using Launcher pro and there's an option for high quality scrolling, which increaseases quality a lot when moving trough home screens...

OP says both of his phones have it, and you are right, it's so extremely rare that I don't think this was ever brought up here before.
What does this tell us? One of two things is possible:
1. The OP configured both the original and the replacement phone the same way. So it's a software glitch that he himself introduced.
2. The replacement phone actually is his old phone but with new screen replaced. So it's a hardware glitch in display "controller" or gpu.

It's not rare at all. AMOLED screens suffer from retention and burn in. I also see leftover when switching from a high-contast image to something else. ALL phones will have this. Mine, his and yours as well.
The rest of your "explanation" is utter bogus so will not even go there.

It's the second, I know it's just a new screen, because I've send it in after the DOA period, and the store I bought it from said they had to send it in to Samsung.
I also know it's a different screen, because the small dead pixel isn't there anymore and the yellow on the left is differen(but still there).
I just got this keyboard thing, and some other things being visible as left overs as for now only visible on grey pictures opening after it. Like the pull down notification bar. It's good visible when you're in a darker room.
I just noticed that it also has something to do with my background. It's just black. I tried another colorfull picture and than the countoures of the homescreen icons are much less(almost not) visible when the notification bar is pulled down.
So can someone try to set his background to completely black, and than go to a homescreen with like 4 buddy icons, wait 5 seconds and pull down the notification bar. Can you see the contoures??

I use black background. Never ever have experienced anything like this.
Did you try playing with settings:
Display -> auto adjust screen power (mine is off)
Power saving mode (mine is off too)

Not at all! I tried all your cases - no, do not see it. And I have always used a 100% black background everywhere I can on this phone.
If you have a Samsung service center near, maybe you can pay them a visit and ask what's wrong. Or just try full reset with user data wipe and factory firmware restore, to eliminate chances it is some rogue utility you installed.

Concept: HD2.5

Hi XDA,
I just want to start of by saying that the HD2 is probably the best thing I ever bought. Still, after more than 2 years, it remains a highly functioning phone. I sometimes run Android (TBD Sensation XL) on it, and sometimes Windows Phone 7.5. (The latest version by Pdaimatejam is amazing, and 100% working, including multitouch and camera) Both amazing roms which run extremely well on our aging phone.
There is on thing, however, which bothers me. This might seem to many as a minor flaw, but to me, keeping a perfect design philosophy in mind, really is a dealbreaker sometimes. This is the fact that the illustrations on the buttons don't represent their true functions in both OS's. The other day I brought my damaged back cover back to life by giving it a brushed metal finish (http://blog.whitesites.com/Chrome-HTC-HD2-Battery-Cover-Tutorial__634103488469591250_blog.htm) Now this got me thinking, what if we could somehow modify the HD2 in order to make it feel like a new phone, which natively runs Android and/or Windows Phone. Together with the chrome back cover it would look awesome!
Now, there's already a tutorial for chroming the back cover. However, to modify the illustrations on the buttons would be more difficult. First and foremost, Android and Windows Phone bother require different buttons. Windows phone requires a power button, a camera button, a back button, a home/start button and a search button. While Android (looking at Sensation XL/Runnymede) requires a power button, a menu button, a search button, a home button and a back button. Both configurations, in my opinion, are optimized for their respective OS's. And for those who might not know, the HD2 has a call button, a home button, a windows start button, a back button and a power/call end button. I haven't really figured out how to actually modify the buttons themselves. Possibly, some sort of extra though stickers would do. These would maybe also allow to be removed, so the phone can be sold again. But, XDA, all difficulties aside, behold, the HD2.5:

}
Looks awesome, doesn't it?
The button configuration, in my opinion, makes sense for both OS's (WP and Android). Let's talk about them from right to left. The on the far right is obviously the power button. It's function is straightforward. The conscientious reader might notice that the original HD2 also has a call end icon on it. Well, it doesn't fulfill this function in both OS's so I removed it. The button next to the power button is the search button. Also, the function of it is self-explanatory. The original HD2 lacks a search button, but in my opinion WP and Android work well with one. In the middle there's the home button. In Android it would redirect the user to the home screen (duh), and in Windows Phone it would bring the user to the start menu. A reasonably representative icon for both right? To the left of the home button is the back button. Again, a necessity for both OS's and the function of which is pretty self-explanatory as well. In Windows Phone it serves a more powerful function in my opinion though And finally, to the far left, there's a peculiar icon. Let's zoom in to have a closer look:
I actually came up with this icon while brain-storming for an icon which means both 'camera' and 'menu/options'. Well, tadaa. While using Windows Phone it would represent a shutter, which would more accurately describe its function than 'camera' anyway. In Android it would have the menu/options function, which makes sense, as it also looks like a gear. Like it? And while only a mock-up, I think it's the best solution for the problem of button configuration. Oh, and the order of the buttons (which could have been any, obviously) is thought through. It's based on the Windows Phone order, with the less important ones (power and shutter/options) on the sides.
Here's a mock-up of it running Windows Phone:
And here's one of it running Android with sense 3.5 (Sensation XL):
They both look amazing right?
I hope you guys like this concept. AND, if anybody can figure out a way to get the icons on the buttons (as said before, maybe some sort of sticker) please let me know! And by the way, the actual function of the buttons in the OS is easily changeable. In Android it can easily be cooked in, and there are numerous apps in the marketplace for it. In WP, the extra settings app by Cotulla does the job.
We modified the HD2 so thoroughly that we might as well modify its name as well! HD2.5!
Thanks devs btw!
Looks really nice! for the buttons; Maybe we could rub the icons off with white spirits (dont know whether it would work) then use some transfers to put teh new icons on? or some stickers would do the job but I reckon transfers would be a more professional finish

I don't think we can rub it off; I assume the shapes are deeply engraved into the button strip. Since they conduct light? or is it just a finish ? And a sticker would block the light.
I did a random grind on mine. The picture doesnt show it too well but it looks awesome and with the Pdaimatejam (the best thing thats ever happened to the HD2) it's a whole new phone.
The HD2 has light pipes for the buttons.. so you could paint black over them then silkscreen the white icons, but you'd loose the ability to have light up buttons.
Hmm... I have a silkscreen department here at work, I might give that a try.
Surely the place for any stickers is in the gap between the buttons and the screen where it says HTC
Nice Idea though.
@theDante, last time I did silkscreen printing was at school, ink everywhere good luck.
whats the construction on the buttons, might it be easier to get replacements?
Hi guys, thanks for all the attention! I have also submitted this to the portal, to help it get more attention. Please do so as well! Wouldn't it be awesome if we could make this happen? I'm more than willing to modify mine btw, never going resell it anyway!
I don't like the back cover at all, but the buttons are really, really nice.
I hope you guys find a way to do it!

haven't needed to yet. There are plenty of tutorials around on xda, not sure how easy it would be to just replace buttons.
just sent a message to the supplier on Alibaba asking whether he could do a custom design on the keypads, I will post back when he answers me.
Maybe we could all chip in for a bulk order, dont know how much he will want but im willing to chip in for it.
Awesome, let me know!
FYI XBmod will release easy hardkey remapping in his next ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22215801&postcount=1328. Also in android there are many choices of softkey mods see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1413582.
I am not entirely sure I would want the camera button on the left. With Yuki's NODO rom I had many blank photos which were shot from in my pocket, although I think you can disable the camera-on function. It is the LHS and RHS buttons which are more likely to be accidentally pressed. A camera button is needed though for panorama shots.
I hate to throw any spanners but thought the above worth mentioning.

Yeah it's not ideal, it has happened to me once before as well. However, I like keeping it enabled as it does help to snap that perfect moment Thanks for both apps, those will come in helpful when we find a way to modify the buttons.

The "Everything I Wish I Could Change About S-Note" Thread...

First of all, what is up with that stupid pan box that covers half your writing area if you are in split screen? I mean seriously how did that crap make it out the front door? Instead how about something brand new like a "scroll bar" that takes up no room at all? I know its crazy but the fact word processors and browsers have used them for years might have tipped someone off that they actually work?
So instead of the proven and unobtrusive scroll bar we get a HUGE pan box right in the middle of everything? Tragic stupidity.
Also, even when I have the page set to pen only input the page keeps zooming in and out everytime I rest my palm on the screen to write. Again, why Samsung why? Do you focus test anything before you release it? With the Note you have now had a year to get this app right and it is still so incredibly broken? Fire everyone and hire some developers who have a clue about usability.
Also, would it KILL you to give me an option for a white piece of lined paper to write on instead of that weird brown color? No we get no white lined paper by we do get about 10 lined options that are nothing like anything I have ever seen in the real world. I mean what IS some of that stuff?
How about letting us design our own templates and choose our own input boxes? How about letting me use a picture from my gallery as a background?
Choices Samsung. Users want choices and you give us none.

I agree this is also annoying. What I found helps is that I set the option to see the crosshairs on the screen when the pen is close, so I know when palm rejection will kick in. Remember, palm rejection only kicks in when the pen is close to the screen, even in pen-only mode (which I agree defeats the purpose of that mode altogether).

I agree with this as well, I was very confused at the lack of options. I can't even set it to legal size.
One thing that you didn't mention that drives me crazy, is the inability to change the name/title of the note while you are in it. You can see the name in the upper left, but you can't long press on it (or click it) to edit. That minor change would be VERY welcome to me.
The "LectureNotes" app is much better than the s-notes app. It works great. It does not have handwriting recognition, but I don't find it that useful in s-notes. What I would like is to OCR the whole thing once I was done taking notes. Anyway, there's a free trial version of LectureNotes available. Give it a try in the Play Store. You can adjust paper color, etc, etc.

Unless you're panning, why do you need to be in overview mode? You can stay in writing mode and just move the work area around if you need to by pressing two fingers on it. Or am I missing something?

Love LN, and if you need vector graphics there's always Quill, though I've heard others are closing fast. I use 7notes with mazec for the HWR.
I'm kind of using what you guys say is broken as a way of exploring what the Note can (and can't) do. You can basically set any background you want on a note you're creating with seperate designs for the cover and pages within. To get white lined paper, all I did was scan a piece at 600DPI and save it as a JPEG. In settings on the S-Note home page there's an "import" button. I imported the JPEG and presto, lined white paper. It's a pretty cool feature for company letter head, watermarks, and other stuff you might want to use. Granted we should be able to create our own templates but it's a work-around for the time being.
Here's a link to the JPEG on Dropbox if you want to play with it yourselves. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/73155531/Scan_Pic0002.jpg
OK as long as we are in full piss and moan mode here, how about if you are using the keyboard and you minimize it. You can't open it again without clicking back to the pen icon and then the keyboard icon again. If you click the keyboard icon when you are already in typing mode it shows you formatting options but the keyboard doesn't reappear.
I would really rather stay with the snotes app if possible than using LectureNotes because it has more functions and i can type.

The stuff you're pointing out is absolutely stuff that's helpful. This is my fourth Samsung device so I've gotten pretty good at thinking like a Korean s/w developer. In a lot of cases there's a way of doing what you want you just have to go through the gymnastics to figure out the Korean interpretation.

OK, so I'm in text mode and minimize the keyboard. To get it back I just have to touch the screen anywhere and it reappears. If go to drawing mode, make some squiggles with the pen, and then click the keyboard icon it comes up by itself. EXCEPT: If I've got the pen-only icon active.
After a few months you'll be thinking like a Korean s/w developer too.

That made me look closer.
In full screen mode not window you can change the background via the drop down menu. When you have the change background window open there is a mountain icon in the top right corner which will open gallery and allow you to set your own background.
I was going to show an example but for some reason when I select Choose File in ther reply software nothing happens it just highlights and the Note 10.1 beeps and that is all.
Ah OK I see. My problem was I had the "pen only" button depressed and thats why the keyboard would not pop up when I touched the screen.
I still cannot figure out what good purpose that panning box serves since we can pan with two fingers???
Lol on the Koreans. Is there a Joe's American Tablet Company somewhere?
Now if someone could just make my handwriting not suck I'd be set.

Who, me or mitchellvii? I'm having a blast figuring out what it can and can't do. The level of detail Samsung's applied to s/w is freaking amazing. And, as usual, it’s cryptic and explained nowhere. It’s fun deciphering Samsung's cryptic code to find all the features. It's kind of like putting together a 1K piece all-white puzzle.

The mountain icon is for things to stick in a note, not set the background. The maps one is really cool. You can use it just like Google maps but within S-Note for cropping and editing.

I fear the scroll bar is NOT coming back. Apple has a patent for transparent disappearing vertical and horizontal scroll bars.
Yea, I know it sounds stupid to allow patent for such issues. It got approved last month.

Granted we should be able to create our own templates but it's a work-around for the time being.
Here's a link to the JPEG on Dropbox if you want to play with it yourselves. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/73155531/Scan_Pic0002.jpg

Hey man that is Fantastic! Lol it never occcured to me to click the little mountain button to get my own background image. Now I can write on a photo of my hot girlfriend
Lol but seriously, I have to find some nice white line paper backgrounds to try out.

How do I change the awful call screen?

I don't know if the Cyanogen (CM 10.1)call screen is the same as the stock ROM's - but it's **horrible**. There is no seperate and easily identifiable set of buttons to accept or reject the call - no, you have to press the damned center icon and then hunt for the option you want.
And the buttons for things like speakerphone, etc... are not labeled - you have to hope you guessed right when you pick one to press.
How can the call screen be changed? Is this hardcoded into Android/CM? Or is there some way to replace/customize it?
no its not the same, just flash a custom rom cm10.1

I'm using CM 10.1. And that's the call screen I can't stand. Is there any way to customize/replace it? Honestly, the gingerbread call screen was well laid out. Each button was labeled and clear as to its purpose. I'd be fine if I could use that call screen.

Pretty much. It's the functionality of the screen that I have a problem with. You shouldn't have to go fishing for the accept/reject actions, and you shouldn't have to guess which button does what. It's kind of similar to why I hate the CM camera. Whoever decided on this type of design was probably related to the guy who invented New Coke.

Really? Well first of all, your call screen image is *not* what I'm talking about. For incoming calls, I'm talking about this:
So if this phone is for your grandma, and this is what she sees when someone calls her - and she goes into a panic because she doesn't see any obvious way to answer or not answer the call - you're going to go with "dude - answer is always to the right, and reject is always to the left"?
Sorry, but that doesn't cut it. In every other incarnation of cell phones I have ever handled, when someone calls you, there is an instant visual indicator on the UI of what to do if you want to answer, and what to do if you want to hang up. On *this* call screen, there is no such indicator - and nothing shows up unless and until you press the center dot. This is NOT intuitive, it's NOT quick, and for anyone who isn't a power user who has the procedure ingrained in muscle memory, it's a royal pain in the ass.
And then we get to outgoing calls, where I'm talking about this:
And once again, a person has to guess what icon does what. Sure, if you're an experienced power user, you can guess with a decent probability of being correct - but for inexperienced users, it's not even clear that these are buttons as opposed to indicator icons. Contrast this with the gingerbread screen, where everything was clearly labeled, and there was no ambiguity over what button does what.
As for your market link - I appreciate the link, but although that might be a slight benefit for the incoming screen, I don't think it's designed to do anything about the outgoing screen. I'm still looking for a way to customize both.

...........I know. I already explained that to geoldr up there. Why would I post a picture of the CM answer screen; you already know what it looks like. I was posting a picture of the stock answer screen to show you that the motions are the same whether you're on CM or TW.

No, you're right; you do have to learn it the first time you get a call. But then after you see that answer is to the right and reject is to the left, you don't have to wonder any more. You just know. You make it sound like you have to learn something new every time.

It may not be intuitive, but it is quick. I agree, though; it would be better for the indicators to be visible before the center handle is pressed.

Have you ever known someone (usually an older person) for whom you have had to explain and re-explain how to do the same thing dozens, if not hundreds of times? For some people, if the procedure for how to complete a task is not obvious, they just have a really hard time getting it. This is magnified exponentially if they are flustered during the procedure - such as when a phone is ringing and they are desperately trying to figure out how to answer before the other person hangs up.
Even for the average person, it's not difficult to forget which way to swipe for each action. So although they might remember that they have to swipe the dot, since the targets are not initially shown, if they mix up the directions, they might accidentally answer a call they were trying to reject. Obviously, this can have unfortunate consequences.
So I don't think I'm off target by describing this as a poorly designed call screen. If it works well for you, then that's fantastic, and I'm glad your experience is that much better. But it annoys me, and it's outright unuseable by others - so I think it's reasonable to look for a way to improve it.

Thanks. I was hoping for a different answer, but if that's the case, then so be it. I'll take a further look at the link you gave earlier to see if that's a good choice to at least deal with the incoming call screen.

Fake touch tester

I just uploaded a Nexus 7 II (2013) tester App to the PlayStore which demonstrates the fake touch bug.
The app does practically nothing just shows one static picture. You can see, what the Nexus 7 does as response. Every little white point on the display is a fake touch.
The app simulates nothing!
The app only shows one static image
That's all. Everything else happens because the Nexus 7 II has this fake Touch bug.
Here is how you can test:
Start the test by selecting a pattern. The pattern is visualized in the left upper corner. Not all patterns cause fake touches. One pattern can cause fake touches in landscape mode but not in portrait mode or vice versa.
Look for fake touches
Touch the display with one finger (one touch point)
Touch the display with two or more fingers (multiple touch points)
Try the same pattern in landscape/portrait mode
Select other pattern (by changing portrait/landscape mode)
If you don't trust me, then just make a screenshot, and open the screenshot (or the attached pictures) in a viewer app without any zooming. You must see the very same result! No zooming means: 1 pixel in the picture is exactly 1 pixel on the display. If you can't show the picture in that way, because your viewer program does some minor scaling, then you don't get the effect! Please be 100% sure, that you don't scale or zoom the picture!
If you use the app, please remember:

Nice. will test outt and see which points are fake touched the most
"fake touched" lol
holy sh..! so far i thought my n7 has no problems, but with this test my screen goes absolutely nuts...
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
What the hell does this prove? It seems like the app just makes my touch screen go crazy...
I think, it is not normal (in fact far from normal), that showing a simple picture on the display causes fake touches.
You can just make a screenshot, and even by showing the screenshot (without any zooming) you will get the same result.
It is very weird.
YAMTT
I have my Nexus (2013) for a week now, no multitouch issues but i did get twice to the point where i lost all touch (pressing power, forcing it to reboot helped). But i noticed when i use YAMTT and put my hand on it, it starts flipping. It registers my hand palm as 3-6 points, and when i pull my hand away from it, it will continue to register points for some seconds (makes YAMTT go crazy).
My nexus is working fine, but after all this reading about broken devices/software, you start testing for yourself. The nexus is very slow in following the finger in YAMTT.
Just wanted to share my findings, anyway my device is still working fine and very ok
I dont understand this test much, now is charging and the first time I used it dirung 5 secs where no dots, after that a lot appeared at the botton and just at the bottom of the screen, even pushing the buttoms back and home. I have never had an issue like this. I will try again when its charged.
it simulates a bad nexus 7.
nothing else.
wow! weird
I thought my Nexus 7 II generally has no touch related issue besides random freeze for a few seconds once in 2-3 days
...until I start this test
the screen goes nuts with so many stars of white dots mainly on the right half of the screen. It's always the "bottom" half (with ASUS logo on the back side) no matter the screen is flipped or not.
I see OP is also the author of "Display Test". So I ran similar pattern picture in that app and get similar result.
So the situation is clear: by just showing static picture on the screen, the multitouch somehow get fake triggered. weird but convinced.
PS:JSS15Q on PA
Just checking (for my sanity more than anything else).
Is this App showing the ghost touches on the nexus 7 (i.e. the touches a 'faulty' nexus makes)
OR
Is this App _simulating_ ghost touches on the nexus 7 (i.e. if you run this on a 'fine' Nexus It will still show ghost touches because it's just showing what it _would_ be like).
Does that make sense?
I'm just scratching my head as to why it wouldn't do that 'scattergun' effect of touches outside of this app (unless of course it's just a sim).
Just swapped out my Nexus for a replacement one regardless.
All the best,
Ant
Once again:
* The app simulates nothing!
* The app only shows one static image
That's all.
Everything else happens because the Nexus 7 II has this fake Touch bug.
If you don't trust me, then just make a screenshot, and open the screenshot in a viewer app without any zooming. You must see the very same result!

Are you sure, that you had no zooming?! You had the picture 1:1 on your display? I mean 1 pixel in the picture 1 pixel on the display?
If you can't show the picture in that way, because your viewer program does some minor scaling, then you don't get the effect!
Please be 100% sure, that you don't scale or zoom the picture!
If you view it in the gallery app it will be scaled down. It's because the tester app hides the status bar while the galery app only dims it out.
This is weird , my nexus indeed has a bug confirmed with this test. On what specific screens does this occur aside from an image that hasn't been scaled? because I don't experience this behavior on other screens I frequent to.

Things you miss after Lollipop update on your Z3

Hi folks, I recently got the update notification and updated my D6603 to Lollipop. I do like Lollipop's new features, but there are a few things I miss from the previous version:
Slide from left to right in the middle to unlock. I used to be able to hold the phone with one hand and slide with my thumb, but now it's from bottom to top. The motion is harder to do, but it's something to get used to.
Remove all from recent apps menu. I cannot find a button to remove all apps in one press. It's not there anymore.
Wishful features/changes:
THE CAMERA! I don't see any improvements on the camera. Still smudgy photos and pink issue with white background, etc. Going through the picture thread is still a disappoint. My hopes for this fix with the update has been lost.
Remove Small apps completely from Recent apps menu. I have never use this and it takes up space on the bottom of the screen, especially when flipping through Recent apps cards. Got this removed, thanks to lu99ke!
That's all I can think of for now. Got yours? Please share!

Hey Hanime
Your wish has been granted!! There is a way to remove small apps from the recent screen - no root required! You just need to be able to run and ADB command ...
I can't post the link but google "remove small apps z3" and you will see a post in the android central forums..
Look for comments on this post as with lollipop, you need to use "hide" instead of block.
See attached pic of it on my phone... Looks HEAPS better.

I noticed the physical camera button opens the camera app with a chime sound now. I turned it off via the camera settings (Sound = Off), but it still chimes. The touch version opens the camera silently. Anybody know how to turn the chime off?
Also, on the lock screen, it says "No Service" even when I have service. And it continues to say so until a good restart or when I download the "Internet Settings" again. Normally, it should show my carrier, T-Mobile. Anyone having this issue?
