[Q] N64 For LG P500 Optimus One - Optimus One, P500, V Themes and Apps

Does someone have N64oid or N64 Arcade on their O1... I can not find a working N64 emulator for this phone... I know it have a bit slow processor, but it won't install on my phone... If someone have it, can you send me a working .apk file on PM?

It doesn't work... I managed to install it as a system file...I open the application but when I try to load a rom it crashes... I didn't know what else to do...so I think that our phone is not supported

Mine doesn't work either.. D: I wanted to play Mario kart..

I wanted to play Super Maria 64... It's 3d... But I think this emulator requires armv7 and at least 1ghz cpu...

Love playing N64 games on my MightyChannels-powered Wii BTW N64 is a 64 bit system and I think that the processor should be an armv7 for using N64oid correctly.

Wizard GBA Emulator

Hey folks I'm looking for a good GBA emulator for my Wizard...
I've tried PocketGBA and GBACE.. PocketGBA works quite good but ain't work for left-handled mode
GBACE doesn't any work for me.
Of course Ive overclocked CPU from those 195Mhz to 260Mhz wich made my Wizz much faster I'm using WM 6 Pathfinder V6 WWE if this info is needed...
Any good left-handled emulator?
Thanx 4 help y'all
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...ed to Play Gameboy Advance Games on your PDA?
if that don't help then I may fear that the limit of how many gba emulators
may be drawing near
Allright ima c
I've tired all of those none of them seems to be good damn it...
So... It seems I won't be able to play unfortunately.

Epic 4G Graphics Tests

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3xz8q5vUEo
Neocore, Asphalt, HD Video, and PSX4Droid playing FFVII
tired of all the FF vids on youtube. someone should test out GT or TekKen.. only tests I see are on the Droid X
Would be nice to see something other than FF7 but I can't see other PSX games being more demanding.
Swyped from my CM6 EVO.
Unfortunately I think even the Epic will choke on some of the PSX games just because of how poorly the emulator is coded. I haven't seen a single phone run Symphony of the Night smoothly... and it's a 2D castlevania game =\

And a damn good one at that. Give the emulator some time though and I'm sure Zod will clear a lot of that up.

Working on it a Tekken test. GT = Gran Turismo?
yea gran turismo.. well all emulators are pretty hard on the cpu, maybe overclocking it helps?

It helps that these things can be safely overclocked to 1.6 GHz

I'd like to see your source of info for that. from what I've read, it can be safely overclocked to 1.2 GHz. 1.6 GHz is possible but thus far unstable.
The guy who overclocked my Captivate to 1.2 GHz said "I'll be able to safely push this to 1.6 GHz." Of course 1.6 will require more power, but hey it sounds crazy cool.

PSX4Droid Performance on G2

Anyone else tried PSXDroid on their G2?
I tried playing marvel vs capcom, chrono cross, and x=men vs street fighter.
Im using PSX4DROID v 1.3
The sound is super laggy and glitched and games are not running at 100%. However, i have read many comments taht say v1.3 is just a horrible version of the emulator. Anyone else playing and having a good experience?
How does it work?

With sound on, everything is very laggy. but i just saw this video on youtube and his PSX4DROID emulator is running much faster, so i think its the version i have.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaYks8qHD1w&feature=related
Well try the older version... because you know its NOT the phone. The G2 is the most powerful android phone out there, period. Let us know your results... I was thinking about getting it but heard its too buggy for use.
When I first got the G2 I tried out Chrono Cross on psx4droid. It ran very well, although I did have the sound off (not a fan of annoying sounds while playing games on my phone).
But after updating psx4droid from the market yesterday, the emulator runs very poorly. Hopefully the dev undoes whatever he changed so that it will start running well again.

Yeah, it might be the update. From past experience with many emulators, sound off always runs better. The problem is not that the g2 can't handle ps games but it has to emulate them in a player than runs inside android if that makes any sense. In other words native games like nova or heavy gunner which are graphic equivilant to ps games run better because they run pretty much natively. Where ps games are ran inside a emulator coded to run natively in android. I know that explanation is poor but you get the point. The ps emulator is relatively new too compared to the others. But ps games are pushing the limits... have you heard if any N64 emulators that run well or at all yet?
well, either find a better warez source to update to 1.5, or stop being cheap and buy the app from market; sound is crappy, but when it is off ff9 and chrono cross run very smooth

Newest ver on the market is 1.5 (you know that though since you purchased it )
Ran 1.5 today w/ ROMS on class(6) and it was about the same performance I believe: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=802147
Haven't tested with sound much, but on my G2 with psx4droid 1.1 I've been playing:
FFVII
FF Tactics
Megaman Legends
all with no problems, great playability
I purchased it (support your developers, anusholes), but it does seem laggy and sound is glitchy when I play parappa the rappa. Haven't tried any other games.
I have had extensive experience comparing the galaxy phones to the g2 performance in psx4droid. First of version 1.1 is the fastest. It is also the buggiest. On psx4droid 1.1 the g2 does very playable speeds on all games but really heavy polygonal games like fighters and whatnot. Zodttd released versions 1.3 and 1.4 that were much slower while trying to fix bugs. Now 1.5 is the best balance. Only slightly slower than 1.1 but slow
enough to make a lot of games unenjoyable on the g2 while the galaxy phones are able to keep up. Side by side they are like 30 percent faster than the g2 in psx4droid. Im hoping for root soon so we can overclock.

Thanks, this was very helpful
i'm currently running Tmobile G2 overclocked to 1.45 GHZ using a root module, and unfortunately psx4droid 1.61 is playing horridly aweful =(. This was an upgrade from 1.5, which played phenomenially better than 1.61. In 1.5 if the CPU could not process enough power (logically), the game would be a little slower, however 1.61 has sound that is TOO FAST for ALL games, with slow graphics (wtf)?. So in other words, My sound for the game is INCREDIBLY fast, while the in game graphics are sloooww to a crawl. Is there anyone that's willing to host the psx4droid 1.5 apk for me to obtain? I've bought this emulator expecting only improvement, not drawback =(

[Q] Help regarding gameloft games saying not compatible

HI guys, please help me out here.
Im running hyperdroidGBX v12 on nand.
I have chainfire 3d and has the nvidia plug in too. I cant seem to find the other two plugins though.
anyway I manage to install gangstar 2 and sacred odyssey. both are working well.
then asphalt 6 and modern combat 2 says my device isnt compatible for the game.
How do I fix this or bypass that note? I know it can run those games.
yes the new HD games by gameloft is laggy on our hd2s but I know modern combat 2,nova 2 and asphalt 6 can be played on our devices.
please help me out.
Thanks in advanced.

I mentioned this briefly in another thread; It's because each game has different versions and each version will only work on certain devices.
eg. v1.0.1 will work on desire/bravo, v1.0.2 will work on Samsung Galaxy S and v1.0.3 will work on Motorola Droid X.
(These are examples but the point is made)
On the HD2 you need to find the version of the game which was designed to run on the Bravo/Desire (Dependant on ROM port but should be close enough).
I dont use chainfire3d anymore (Tried with all 3 plugins) and I have now found versions of all the games I want to run without any extra "drivers" or mods
I am attaching a list which guided me in finding the compatibility of games to devices!
Hope this helps

actually, if the apps/games said it need armv7 instructions (such as NEON and else) to run. then there is nothing u can do to make the app run in armv6-based phone (well, maybe if ur a software engineer then u can reverse engineer the app, rewrite the codes to work in armv6 instructions).
but, if there's no such statement in, u can try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088980 , see post #6
u can try it by yourself, or look for other ppls work (remember, Google is your friend, especially for the first fifteen minutes )
and one more thing it's armv7 and armv6. arm7, arm6 is older arm processor model (or family), and armv7, armv6 is arm architecture versions. arm11 has armv6 architecture...
my advice: buy a PC with decent setup, live ur life in elder scrolls v: skyrim. u'll forget bout ur phone (well, except when it's ringging)

I always thought the only difference between the two was armv6 architecture has hardware support for double precision floating point arithmetic, while armv7 only provides legacy software support for double precision floating point arithmetic.
And of course as you mention neon giving it better singles.
They are not huge differences if you know how to port you could pull it off.

Maybe it's some glitch on Utopia that makes it partially run?

right now i am playing HD games on my phone
and they lag a lot..
Even on 2.2.1 it didn't lag...
I don't think swiftdroid ASIS is really that good
as the others..
i think rc5 is better
Sorry for asking again...
Could I flash a fastboot Tom on my phone using recovery if I created md5sum using terminal?
If so can anyone tell me what to type?

Hi!! Play armv7 games on armv6!
The first thing you need to play armv7 games on armv6 is:
1)Install Root explorer
2)Install Chainfire 3D(use "libGLEMU_Nvidia.zip plugin..)
3)Install super charger
4)Install CM7 stock rom
5)swap partition to 700mb to increase your ram by using Swapper2 application.
6)Install your games
7)Done
8)Enjoy your games!
