HI guys, please help me out here.
Im running hyperdroidGBX v12 on nand.
I have chainfire 3d and has the nvidia plug in too. I cant seem to find the other two plugins though.
anyway I manage to install gangstar 2 and sacred odyssey. both are working well.
then asphalt 6 and modern combat 2 says my device isnt compatible for the game.
How do I fix this or bypass that note? I know it can run those games.
yes the new HD games by gameloft is laggy on our hd2s but I know modern combat 2,nova 2 and asphalt 6 can be played on our devices.
please help me out.

I mentioned this briefly in another thread; It's because each game has different versions and each version will only work on certain devices.
eg. v1.0.1 will work on desire/bravo, v1.0.2 will work on Samsung Galaxy S and v1.0.3 will work on Motorola Droid X.
(These are examples but the point is made)
On the HD2 you need to find the version of the game which was designed to run on the Bravo/Desire (Dependant on ROM port but should be close enough).
I dont use chainfire3d anymore (Tried with all 3 plugins) and I have now found versions of all the games I want to run without any extra "drivers" or mods
I am attaching a list which guided me in finding the compatibility of games to devices!

Not completely without lags but it's playable. Dead Space is really a great game and you can download it for free in Samsung's Appstore.

Worked on my SGS+ pretty much lag-less, not OCed, Brood ROM RC2 and updated graphic drivers. That said however GTA3 hangs my mobile pretty much every single time during gameplay so that the restart is neccessary after few mins of gaming...
Asphalt 6 is choppy depending i think on which Govorner and I/O you use.
ive found that onDemand and SIO is best for Asphalt 6.
i couldnt play it on a totally stock rom because it was too laggy but with the Galaxy W drivers it was much better.
Real racing 2 works!!

For some games we should also list the version numbers which have been confirmed to run.
For example, I bought Asphalt 6 from gameloft.com (which they list as compatible with the i9001) and the version they provided me with was 1.0.4. Unfortunately it did not run and always crashed after the intro video. I then found out that version 3.5.5 runs without problems.

im using Asphalt 6 1.0.8, how do you get it to version 3.5.5 ?
9mm hd works fine without any lags v1.0.2, other versions give pink graphics, modern combat 3 works fine no lags (Android market v1.0.1 )
Games like mc2 and mc3 have now been optimized specially for snapdragon chips,
after testing mc2 on i9000 and i9001, the snapdragon version works much smoother with slightly different but better textures.
Can anyone help me i can't see gta 3 in the market ?? i really want this game

Actually version 3.5.5 is an older version. Blame Gameloft's illogical versioning schemes...

Hi people i have 1 question to make!
IS possible to play gameloft games with aurora ics? Before we edit build.prop to desire hd and we can play the games but now if we edit camera simply stop working! Is possible any other way to play gameloft games onde aurora?

How to play Gameloft HD Games in the dzo's ICS
Yes I found how to workaround.
- In the rom that gameloft HD games plays without issues, make a backup of gameloft HD games, I use Titanium Backup root, but can be done with similar program.
- Important is the game you are playing, the license is ok.
- In the dzo's ICS rom do a restore of the games.
- Gameloft HD games dont need re-check the license, as they have done previously in the other rom, so this is the trick
Are expected some issues?
Yes, I think so, later when gameloft send an update.
If you update the game in my opinion the license can be broken and the game crashes.
I'm waiting to confirm.

ad. 2 For most time yes, but games relying on newest hardware(quad core tegra 3) might lag.

Oh, forgot to mention, if you find game in Google Play that is 'incompatible' (which is major bull most of the time) then use modified Google Play apk.
Guys ... according to how you set the device in build.prop you'll be able to run almost everything and , of course, having a hacked market

Well for your first question yes,almost all apps can be installed on HD2, it is still android os, so phone types do not matter really
For the second question, the system specs of your phone depends on how can it handle high def games, well for new apps, it can be lag at some times.
Around 80% of apps runs smoothly.. but apps like Temple Run,Brave,GTA III,Max Payne, Fast and Furious, Sense 3,3,5 , and other GPU demanding apps will lag alot as Adreno 200 is so slow GPU
also Sygic GPS navigation lags kinda that's annoying -,-"
Only the newest version of GTA is lagging on my HD2, but of course, if you install games that require dual or quad core CPU's, then the game will lag.
To fix the "market incompatible" issue, check my signature.

Temple run can run pretty smooth at Single core.. (MSM8255) but so laggy on QSD8250
Max Payne does not lag, but overall it all depends on the game developers and its optimization. The new game Dead Trigger is well on Ultra High settings (all effects work for the Tegra 3). Can be seen on YouTube at the request of "Dead trigger on HTC HD2".

Also a bit off topic but what is your rom & kernel configuration for Temple Run 2? I have only played it with CM10 with several different kernels. Best seems to be latest Phenom kernel, but still game suffers a bit of random lags, especially when you get far. Sometimes makes you just wanna throw your phone to that wall I wonder if it's the alpha JB snapdragon drivers that are causing random FPS drops. Is it more playable in GB or ICS?

have you already tried a 3.4 kernel - like Nexus v9.1? I dont have lags with this kernel, but perhaps i don't get that far.
A alot of people are saying that it is the alpha stage gpu drivers that qualcom hasn't updated. Even though you score good 6500ish on antutu, many high end games will lag. So it is a general problem with all JB roms and kernels for now. Qualcom drivers for ICS and GB should be better. I haven't installed CM9 yet, but have to try it at some point I guess.

And btw, I have a problem. I can't play any Modern Combat with my S Plus. Play store says that my phone isn't compatible I think it might have something to do with my ROM. I flashed CM10 Beta 3 by Ivendor and then incompatibility problems started. They all worked fine with 2.3.6 gingerbread. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance
