Hi every one please help me my phone stuck on bootloader screen i tried to flash it with an official ROM by using the sd card method or either the usb connection method but in booth cases it fails (error appears "NOT ALLOWED") when it gets to bootloader screen it shows that spl version is 3.03 i read in a thread that the gold card method will help me but i tried it with a help of a website to generate and send a goldcard by email but it doesn't works may be some thing wrong with gold card from the website so please gentlemen any one have an idea to solve this problem i am really afraid that i lost my phone please please please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
calm down there champ, you're just using the ROM for the wrong region.
go to the HTC support site and find your correct ROM for your region with your IMEI number and flash it, you don't need a gold card.

thanks for reply I hop you are right but how can I find the correct ROM by my IMEI I saw just the serial number and when I enter my serial number they told me that the ROM is not suitable with my device

Calm down mate
The possible reason is the rom you tried to flash is not the. CORRECT STOCK ROM.
Go to HTC website to download unbranded hd2 rom or go to your carrier website for a branded hd2.
Else, you should check your micro sd condition

Hello, i have HD2 from Europe unbranded and alredy instaled HardSPL cottula.
but i mistake and flash with HD2 T-Mobile US rom - RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship and stuck on 9% with red line.
now i flash other eu rom RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.43.405.1_Radio_Signed_15.26.50.07U_2.04.50_22_2_Ship but always stuck on 9% also tried with other rom same :/
can any body help me, this is software err not hardware right?

SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
Phone was bring to life, after flashing with RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship
but now only on white screen with HTC logo stay :/ where is the problem?

the problem is when i switch on the phone in normal mode only white light is comming on the screen

Did you try flashing a rom or what did you do till you noticed this issue?
when i tryed to update a orginal rom in bootloader mode show connection error
Reflash stock rom using SD-Card method. You had a bad flash and now it's stuck in bootloader mode.
The handset has a white screen problem when switch on in normal mode
But the handset in going in bootloader mode .
Also i tryed hard reset working

Have you tried flashing stock rom using SD-Card??
i dont know which was the original rom in the handset because the handset came tome in the white screen problem

No . It does not show vendor id error
It show CONNECTION ERROR

Iam writing this to share my experience reviving my phone ! my problem was that I flashed an official 3.14 rom with an 3.03 spl on a branded htc hd2 ! the vendor never released a rom even the first one!
So I found my selef stuck with boot loader screen ! no way to make a gold card cause I have no other winmo phone!
After some research in the net this some useful links!
1- to get your CID on a PCI SD card reader (not an usb reader) without a winmo phone!

Well, I am stuck in the same spot! After an unsuccessful install of official 3.14 ROM on a branded HD2, it is stuck into bootloader mode with an "upgrade ROM code error, please try again message" and no way to make a goldcard! Please help! Thanks.
Update:
Finally was able to make a goldcard and unstuck my phone! The problem was with the SD I was using. Tried different SD and worked as a charm! Thank you to all forum members.
i have htc hd2 stuck on white screen
i tried downloading the official rom from htc and flashing it in bootloader but it stopped at 0%
i tired flashing from the sd card but i got radio fail
i even tried to repair it using jtag and still the same plz anyone can help

You tried JTAG-ing it and it didn't work?
Try to HSPL then upgrade your radio.
after repairing it with jtag i cannot seem to flash hardspl it alwais hang after selecting 2.08 hspl
and when i flash radio from sdcard i get radio fail
You should've considered the JTAG as a last option

TBH, I don't believe that you actually have a jtag, or maybe you do but you're not very experienced in using it.

You have a jtag, even if you totally bricked your phone you can easily revive it
Indeed, I too am skeptical of you haveing used a J-TAG, and if you did it seems that you did it unsuccessfully. Is your MicroSD card formatted as Fat32?

yea Jtagging is only when you "brick" your phone, and your phone isn't bricked, And hopefully won't be.
hi all , i buy a used HD2 phone it has a logo printed on the top i dnt know weather its Tmobile uk or US how to check about it ..
unfortunately its stucking on Tmobile logo thats Y i need to confirm its country so that i can flash its corrected rom .

T mobile us (tmous) has green send key red end key and says t mobile under earpiece.
All other hd2 are white keys, and no text under earpiece.

HOW TO CHECK ITS 1024 or 512mb RAM version ??? phone is not booting the windows just Boot-loader can b access
If it has red/green end/call keys then it is a TMOUS HD2 1024.
But to be 100% safe use your devices IMEI to download the ROM, If IMEI is not from a TMOUS then it will be flagged as invalid.

hey i have download the TMobile US Hd2 official rom when i install it the phone vibrates 2 times & loading stuck on 8% what to dooo ???
Did you download ROM using devices IMEI to check ROM correct ?
Sounds like you may have a faulty device, bad blocks or mainboard CPU BGA perhaps.
try cooling device in fridge & then start flashing & have device screen down with fan blowing on it, if gets further flashing then probably bad mainboard CPU BGA .
Do you have screen shot of boot screen so can see if any evidence of HSPL ect.
You could also look at trying to flash ROM from SD card (plenty threads on this technique)
yes i have download the Rom from tmobile website by giving IMIE and still same problem

it has Green Call accept key and red Call reject/power on key so it of 1024mb ram version ??
it is a TMOUS 1024mb as the site accepted your IMEI for ROM download.
I see it has HSPL, you could use the hard SPL toolkit to go to a stock SPL

If you do not want T-Mobile ROM you could try flashing an Energy ROM such as one link below that works on TMOUS HD2s.

i have installed the Energy rom but its still stuck on the Main logo any solution of this problem ??
Try installing Radio linked in my signature & see if boots ok.
You could also try booting without sd card as a wild shot.
Other options are doing a task 29 & flash ROM or doing a SD card flash of TMOUS ROM !

trying from last 3 hours but cannot find useful information on this error
I used to have android on my htc hd2 before I wanted to roll back to windows so I tried to follow the steps
downloaded the rom from htc site and I found it is wrong
my hd2 is not t mobile
its model number is T8585
made in taiwan
hspl4 does not recognise the phone
gives out connectivity error
but my phone shows usb in white boot loader
when i tried with other rom it gives out 00028002 dont allow message
so if any one can help me please.......
You need to download the correct RUU or LEOIMG.nbh for your HD2.HSPL on your HD2, this means your HD2 will only flash the correct stock ROM for your HD2. I am not really sure why HSPL 4 is giving you trouble. I would find the correct ROM for the device and flash it first, then try to run HSPL 4 again. I will be monitoring this thread today so post back if you need further help.

You need a RUU that was for the carrier the de ice wad originally with and the area that the device came from. The name of the RUU file will have the information on what carrier it is for and what region it is for. Start looking through the HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM development forum to find kinks to stock ROMs as I can not find any of the stick ROMs on HTC.com. If you have s T-Moile HD2 look for the stock ROM in the T-Mobile Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM development.

I've crying for three days, last night didnt sleep... Ive flashed few roms im my HD2, my problems started when I flashed Windows Phone7, first it locked my SD card but I solved it... After that I decided roll back to Ice Cream Sandwich... Did a task 29 sucessfully and put back the ICS, and my fall down started, my micro USB port stopped working in bootloader and the phone dont charge anymore, strangelly it works through magldr as usb mass storage. That means I cant flash HSPL, Ive been trying official stock roms vis SD, 6 by now and all of them failed saying "00028002 Not allow" I dont know wich one is the correct rom... In the HTC web site cant find any option to insert the serial number in order to get the stock rom.
