Hello guys and girls!
Id like to know, if someone can help me with my little but annoying problem:
When I go into "settings - phone - batterydrain - on the graph" it sometines shows a long and massive blue bar on "Active".
Ive already uninstalled WhatsApp, but it still appears some times and sucks like 25% battery in 1 1/2 hour.
Does anyone know what causes this? With advanced task manager I cant see anything thats running in the background.
Thx
BeeJay
P.S: Ive got the German TyphooN CM7 3.2.6 ROM installed. There it is called "Über das Telefon - Akkuverbrauch - auf den Graphen - Aktiv"

I am sorry if this has already been addressed. I tried searching the forum but nothing was coming up.
I have a tmobile wing running F1RCK'S 6.1 rom (from The Wingster). It seems like a quick enough rom but I still have the same problem I have always had; the hardware keyboard SUCKS when texting. When I slide it out for a text message, it takes up to 30 seconds to be ready to type. If i just immediately start typing, nothing shows up and then it all starts typing like 30 seconds later. This is a huge inconvenience. I have tried numerous roms, pagepools, overclocking etc. Nothing seems to help. Even when I run a minimal rom and disable all background programs it still seems to lag.
Usually I am running s2u2 and htc home screen and an app called vista hide battery bar. on start up. My idle ram is in the 50 - 60 % usage range. I found that getting rid of the battery bar helps but it's still sort of slow.
Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks in advance.

I've never had it go that slow before, but Windows Mobile is just slow at flipping from Portrait to Landscape.
But I've never had it be that extreme of a problem. Did it have that problem off a clean install of a ROM? Next time you flash a ROM, you should try texting before installing your usual programs, and then after. See if one of them is causing a probelm.
This should work
Try using OMAP clock and overclock the processor a little.
My wing is running wm 6.5 and i overlock to 240mhz...
keyboard seems gr8 now.
Hello,
I've installed darkstone SuperRAM froyo and it works fine, except for the following problem: after each time I answer incoming phone call, battery drain goes from 5-7ma to ~70ma. I used PowerTutor to find that Launcher CPU usage goes sky high after incoming call, so I guess this is the offender. The only way out of this is a restart. Any advice?
TIA
hi sorry for the intrusion & noobish question, but which application do you use to see the battery drainage ?
thx

It's called CurrentWidget, install it from Market.
Okay i will try it, thx a lot
i've the same problem running core droid desire v0.8... sometimes it's possible to decrease drainage to 3-5mA after closing various(!) processes through task manager (sometimes only applications like settings, contacts, etc. other times processes like htc.com.provider.settings)?! otherwise rebooting is the only way to go back to 3-5mA. Any solutions?
Hi,
can you tell me how to get the attached screen?
Thanks!
Simply go to Settings->About phone->Battery status
only get 2 points there
- Display
- Akku bei Standby
I am on Darky 8.1
there are only things listed which use your battery the last time.
activate wifi and call some people there are more points listed...
is doch logisch oder?
Hi All,
I have got my Ideos X5 for about 2,5 weeks now and at first everything was fine. I had a battery life of about 2 full days, made it 3 days once! The response was quick and everthing was as I wanted it.
The last week however when i scroll in my menu, it's not fluent anymore, switching from screens (left and right) is not fluent anymore and i am unable to remove widgets from my homescreen. This is because when i press the widget (if you do it long enough you should be able to place it in the garbage can) it only holds it a for a fraction and then it drops it again, or it simply loads the program. Angry birds simply crashes after like 5-10 games for another example. When i do a quadrant test at that moment, it scores like 1000.
Now the strange thing is: this is not all the time. Sometimes it has these problems, sometimes it works fluently, no problems, no crashes, quadrant of 1400.
I tried to find out if it was a particular application that was running that caused it, but i ended every application that i've downloaded so far and it still occurs.
Anyone have any idea what it could be and how to solve the problem?
Tnx!
What Rom are you running?
I use the stock os.
build number: V100R001c00b135sp01
custom version: Custdeuc253d001
so i guess B135?
Hi all, quick update. I think i might have found the answer to my problems.... I downloaded this battery app earlier and i removed it now. This night cost 0% battery (earlier it sometimes cost 30%) and angry birds didn't crash even though i played for like an hour and alle screens work fluently again. Lets hope it stays that way! (otherwise i'll be back )

Every battery saving app is oNLY for stupid people who don't know what is their phone and how to lower brighness or disable GPS. Apps CAN NOT make any difference in battery life, only shorting it. Cause it's again only just one more app running in background and using phone resources - and it's from battery.
Hello.
Excuse by my bad english. Well, i had put Schlund Rom. It woks fine. Its a good rom but battery drain its very high.
I instaled an app to look cpu activity when phone is in sleep mode, and the activity is minimal. I believe that it is not the trouble.
What i did, was uninstall several apps thats i believe to be not important (news.....) and put un unnable to startup several services that i believed not to be important.
Well, the result its a correct system but the battery life is like as windows mobile rom: if the use is minimal it support 3-4 days, and obvioulys as much use, less life.
Well i wish extract this system from my mobile (erasing contact) to people get it and test it but i don,t know how i can do it.
Help please
maybe it's easier to explain here which apps you have removed en which services you have blocked?
I have installed autokiller, set phone to GSM auto (PRL), charged it to 100% and used it for my agenda (with wifi sync), texting and calling, I don't use gprs, 3g, hsdpa.
at this moment I have used the phone for 2 days and 16 hrs and still having 36% left.
so I am very happy with the result
