I have next problem:
Sometimes when I wait kids for some sport activities, music lessons, I look films on TCPMP player. Next problem I have with Primo 1.2.
Where is the problem? I have car docking station, charger Brodit. It is fixed on the left side of my car. So I can put charger from portrait to right landscape but applications are just the opposite side. Problem is charging when I use this two programs. I use Artemis rom.
Any idea, program?
Do a Google search for G-Rotator.
Only half of the screen rotates. This is not a solution for my problem. Thanks anyway T-Macgnolia.

Ok if that did npt work like hou want. Try Touch Tools or BsBTweaks both can be found in the HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and apps forum. I prefered Touch Tools myself bit both have totation tweaking capobilities.
I tried with Touch Tools and BsBTweaks. (BSB is already installed on my HD2). But problem still exists. In both application I miss how much to rotate 90, 180 degrees. Booth application rotates for 90 degrees. Because of this I get only half of a picture.

Hey everyone. I heard (read) about the Mobile 2003SE with the Lanscape mode. CAN'T WAIT!!! I have a question though. I remember seeing some software that will do it for you as a stand alone program that will run some compatibility issues when trying to run certian programs. I have just upgraded to the new 4.01.16 rom and had included Pocketnester the best NES emulator I have found for these devices... Is there a way to force it to do lanscape mode??? It would be perfect to map your directional pad on the left and have the contacts and calandar buttons mapped as A and B which I currently have now but I have to hold it from the top and side. It would be awesome if I could get it to work right without having to wait for SE. Thanks
Try this:

Awesome Software. I downloaded the trial version and it is cool. You can virtualy change the resolution, and re orient the screen. it seems that the operating system and all of the windows applications are already set to go lanscape they all filled the screen and didn't display anything past the lower half of the 240 pixels when it was oriented. All of my programs ran at the lanscape orientation (some better than others) except the pocket nester... the whole reason I was hoping to get software like this.
I have a question on the topic. I know it is an operating system that runs on our beolved cellphones as well but how are they going to re build the phone app screen. I don't see much of a fiesable way to do it in lanscape mode. it is probably something we will have to see O2 or T-Mo set up then set it up in the kitchen Is there any other ways people will be able to rewrite the phone app so it can run on the lanscape mode?
The phone does run in lanscape mode but you can't see anything past the 456 row you can't see the 789 or the *0# or the Send/End button.
who has a possible solution to this potential problem?
I finish doing to me with one qtek9000 and have seen that when you put tomtom in horizontal the speed of refreshment of the screen is very poor, in wonderful vertical. I have proven with several ROM:
- QTEK_Spanish_ROM_1.13.74_ESN
- UNI_QTEK_130100_190_10900_ESN_Ship
- Helmi_UNI_AKU3.3_v1.2
- JASJAR_WWE_19096_19505_11300_AKU_3_2_ship And always the same slowness in horizontal,
With MioMap 3,2 it works perfectly as much in horizontal as in vertical. I have looked for by the forum and I have not practically seen anything referring to this problem.
They commented something to publish the registry to accelerate it, but even so it continues working slow. I have proven with several cards SD as much in capacity as in speed and nothing.
With different versions of maps and software.
Any solution to this problem?
Thank you very much.

Thanks for answer, but i have the seem problem.
I've got the same problem.
The problem is of resolution 640x480, in a hp hs4700 seem problem. Tomtom don`t work correctly in this resolution in landscape.
See the v1 and v2-results at jbenchmark.com. Look at the overall score and then at the canvas size. On my Qtek 9000 with the UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE image (and meanwhile updated radio 1.14.10), the v1 test got the following results:
922 points at a canvas size of 640x376 (landscape)
2394 points at a canvas size of 480x536 (portrait)
And this same phenomena is what makes TomTom so slow in landscape. :-(
I guess it has something to do with drawing using some special routines. TCPMP makes fast video also in landscape, but the Midlet Manager or TomTom seem to use normal non-optimized canvas drawing.
Cheers,
-mARKUS
Not sure where you got the terms "canvas" and "midlet" from, but basically you are right. TomTom is writing directly to the framebuffer which gives good results in portrait mode. For Landscape mode each single point needs to be transposed. This takes time. It takes 4 times as long on a VGA screen. So expect TomTom on a VGA landscape screen to redraw more than four times slower than TomTom on a QVGA portrait screen.
anyone got any fox or solution/hack, ive been dealing with that problem since i first bought tomtom

ya. i agree. it is hardware.
There was talk about doing something like this using the camera in most WM devices, but has probably been given up due to processor/battery constraints of having the camera chip detecting constantly.
It is hardware.. but i have thought about it and it is some what possible to do it. I'm not sure which phone you guys are using, but Wizard (and others with slide keyboard) has a magnetic mechanism that is used to detect if the keyboard has been slided out or not. So, I thought that, if you were to able to free enough space, and put a free sliding magnet on it, gravity will made the magnet slide to the position you want when you rotate the phone, and making the screen rotate.
Theoretically workable but.. needs some risky hardware hacking.
im using Asus P525, do u think its possible?

if there is a little room you can use a mercury(kwik) switch found in a old central heating (in your house) controller
Don't know how comfortable I would be carrying a glass vial full of mercury in my pocket
... would be just as easy to get an accelerometer chip similar to what Apple uses and stick it in there.

I don't think you can do that. Need to surgery to your phone.
The best option for most HTC devices is to map a button to the screen rotate option. No, not as cool as the iPhone, but it does work for quickly changing the screen view. The other option, for devices like the touch that don't have very many keys, is to paste a shortcut to screen rotate in the /windows/start menu file. This will allow you to do a screen rotate from the start screen.
I'm sure HTC and others will be incorporating automatic screen positioning to the hardware in the near future. Just be glad the WM devices can do landscape in all applications! The iPhone (currently) can only do lanscape in safari, ipod and youtube. It doesn't work when you are in e-mail, sms, maps or notes.
I can only browse in portrait moge. When I'm changing device orientation to landscape Opera is simply dessapearing
Any advice ?
Screen rotation
The HD has a g-sensor (it knows when you turn it), so the following applications makes most applications turn too.
Gyrator2

Haven't ried GSen, thought gyrator works perfectly with opera and other applications
I know that.
The thing is Opera should work properli in both modes without any 3rd party apps. Mine is not. And I would be happy if there is a solution for me

So many threads here..... sometimes is hard tyo fing the right one
The one thing that irks me the most about my Imagio is that the screen will only go to landscape for the camera, the VCAST TV, and the Internet Browsers. With anything else only portrait is available. I would really love to be able to make it go landscape for other programs. I have found a couple of free routines that will set the phone to do this but they won't work because the Net Framework on the phone is the wrong version (go figure an older version of Framework would be placed in the most up to date version of windows). Can anyone tell me what is the best routine that will allow me to toggle landscape mode at will on the Imagio?

or just download the new .net framework
Thank you so much. I'll try what was listed. Does anyone know why the latest .NET CF isn't installed in Win Mo 6.5? Why would Microsoft not have the latest in the latest OS?
I have 3.5 installed on mine and I'm using Gyrator 2 to rotate my screens around
Great plugin

Well I followed the instructions for editing the registry and changing the orientation for the TF3D screens works great. Now what about the other programs such as Word and Excel? Do I have to do all the same registry edits for those or only part of the edits? Thanks for all the help guys. I'm about to get the phone the way I like it.

Was 3.5 already installed on your device when you bought it or did you have to install it? How do I find out what version of .Net CF is install on the phone?
I don't know what version I had
I found by using gyrator and changescreen for screen rotation is buggy, slow, and sometimes pages seem to get scrambled. I don't need rotation in all apps that's why I installed g trigger, available here. I have it set up to jerk the phone from side to side and this toggles screen orientation. I also set it up to have the dialer come up when you flick the phone forward and to close programs when you flick it away. It really works great, no crashing. And there are no accidental orientation change. Not to mention it saves you the "phone" softkey and you don't have to try to hit the "X" in the corner anymore. Try it, it is a cab install, and removes completely if you don't like it.
