Any advice ?
Screen rotation
The HD has a g-sensor (it knows when you turn it), so the following applications makes most applications turn too.
Gyrator2

GSen:

Haven't ried GSen, thought gyrator works perfectly with opera and other applications
I know that.
The thing is Opera should work properli in both modes without any 3rd party apps. Mine is not. And I would be happy if there is a solution for me

If I look at the Known Issues then nothing works
ActiveX is disabled - Flash plugins and embedded video streaming do not work.
Custom software keyboards (IME) will be buggy at best, not working at worst.
No multilingual build - Only English is supported. Problems with other languages (and input methods) are not unexpected.
Installation on memory cards may cause problems.
Text wraps in overview mode.
Main testing has been done on English HTC devices (Touch Diamond, Touch Pro, Touch, Touch Dual, Touch Cruise, TyTN and Wizard) and Samsung i900.
Landscape mode does not take keyboard position into consideration.
Devices with low memory might get Out Of Memory (OOM) messages.
Opera is always running when the Widgets Manager is running.
On devices with hight DPI some of the pre-installed widgets look small.
When an URL is opened from a widget, there will be an extra browser window opened in the background that's not working properly.
Ok I installed it in my Diamond.
Its build 2723 and seems to be really fast. I installed into device and it doesn't messed up with my ROM's Opera.
The navigation is really fine but the whole widget thing is very buggy. Once you run Widgets the browser doesn't run anymore. You need to kill Opera and OperaL process or softreset. Avoiding widgets you will have a great experience.
Ok, some minutes later and I've got another impression.
Beta 2 is fast and render better some pages (gmail in normal view for example) but its unusable. The shortcut calls sometimes default Opera, sometimes the beta version. Always when I close beta version it displays widgets and i cant open the browser again. Download only for testing purposes.

You have two versions of Opera installed on your device simultaneously... expect problems!
Doesn't seem to take advantage of the accelerometer in the Diamond.
Wow, sad to see that Opera still sucks so much.
Also their forums are full of rants and the mods over there keep censoring and deleting forum postings and even whole threads.
Don't know what's going on, but commercial WM development is getting worse with every day. Just look at CorePlayer, STILL no fixed build for the Diamond, they even don't manage to put a build out which at least fixes the every now and then hickup while playing music.
On the other hand underground development is going higher every day, as seen in this forum.

Installed the build 2723 and removed the previous Opera9 and OperaL. Indeed, the speed is impressive! Opera Browser is now automatically loaded after each soft rest, however. Is there any way to avoid the auto-load after soft rest? As in the precious setting, I prefer to open/load the Opera Browser when needed in order to save memory.
Also, if Opera Browser is closed after being loaded into the memory (at the soft reset), it can't be re-opened without another soft rest. Any one encounters the same and may have solutions?
Can anyone please make the Beta 2 as an vga SD version...
GSen is working nicely for me, except when I am running the YouTube application.
Can anyone help me with a line to add in the configuration program to prevent GSen working with YouTube??
(I hope that this hasn't already been covered - I have searched as best I can!)
Don't use Gsen. Take Gyrator 2. You will be happy with it.
i have to inquiries:
1-i felt that while viewing in landscape mode the screen becomes less responsive. has anyone noted anything like that.
2-is there a way not to make gyrator start up automatically everytime u restart ur device. for example i like to use it only when i'am reading documents.
any ideas???
any qualms on using SKTools Gsens (smaller footprint and also free)? It'll solve both your issues..
The one thing that irks me the most about my Imagio is that the screen will only go to landscape for the camera, the VCAST TV, and the Internet Browsers. With anything else only portrait is available. I would really love to be able to make it go landscape for other programs. I have found a couple of free routines that will set the phone to do this but they won't work because the Net Framework on the phone is the wrong version (go figure an older version of Framework would be placed in the most up to date version of windows). Can anyone tell me what is the best routine that will allow me to toggle landscape mode at will on the Imagio?

or just download the new .net framework
Thank you so much. I'll try what was listed. Does anyone know why the latest .NET CF isn't installed in Win Mo 6.5? Why would Microsoft not have the latest in the latest OS?
I have 3.5 installed on mine and I'm using Gyrator 2 to rotate my screens around
Great plugin

Well I followed the instructions for editing the registry and changing the orientation for the TF3D screens works great. Now what about the other programs such as Word and Excel? Do I have to do all the same registry edits for those or only part of the edits? Thanks for all the help guys. I'm about to get the phone the way I like it.

Was 3.5 already installed on your device when you bought it or did you have to install it? How do I find out what version of .Net CF is install on the phone?
I don't know what version I had
I found by using gyrator and changescreen for screen rotation is buggy, slow, and sometimes pages seem to get scrambled. I don't need rotation in all apps that's why I installed g trigger, available here. I have it set up to jerk the phone from side to side and this toggles screen orientation. I also set it up to have the dialer come up when you flick the phone forward and to close programs when you flick it away. It really works great, no crashing. And there are no accidental orientation change. Not to mention it saves you the "phone" softkey and you don't have to try to hit the "X" in the corner anymore. Try it, it is a cab install, and removes completely if you don't like it.
I have next problem:
Sometimes when I wait kids for some sport activities, music lessons, I look films on TCPMP player. Next problem I have with Primo 1.2.
Where is the problem? I have car docking station, charger Brodit. It is fixed on the left side of my car. So I can put charger from portrait to right landscape but applications are just the opposite side. Problem is charging when I use this two programs. I use Artemis rom.
Any idea, program?
Do a Google search for G-Rotator.
Only half of the screen rotates. This is not a solution for my problem. Thanks anyway T-Macgnolia.

Ok if that did npt work like hou want. Try Touch Tools or BsBTweaks both can be found in the HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and apps forum. I prefered Touch Tools myself bit both have totation tweaking capobilities.
I tried with Touch Tools and BsBTweaks. (BSB is already installed on my HD2). But problem still exists. In both application I miss how much to rotate 90, 180 degrees. Booth application rotates for 90 degrees. Because of this I get only half of a picture.
