Atrix quadrant question - Atrix 4G General

While running quadrant I checked the system info and it said my atrix only has one core I know it has two but is this beca us e quadrant isnt supporting dual core yet?

probably because android isn't supporting dual core yet, not just quadrant.

Actually android does support dual core. Quadrant does NOT bench both cores, just one. If you'd like a multi core bench I recommend smart bench 2011.

Post your AnTutu Scores

I'm just curious what other phones are capable of. I think my score isn't too bad.

Anyone else tested this benchmark app? I never heard of it. You should download Quadrant and Linpack and post all 3 scores.

I concur, we are getting the nexus.
Do you have info on the give away?
Sent from my PG06100 using xda premium
The one x is a quad core. I'm pretty sure the gnex is only dual core.

But by reading up on it it seems america will only get dual core because the tegra 3 is not lte compatable, yet.

i was hoping for quad core to but android need to get better battery life, or the quad core will drain quick.
From what ive read quad and dual core are supposed to be better on battery life, they dont use all the cores at the same time

Yup, and I think they can run at lower voltages because there's more cores running.
You guys might want to check out the link below. Looks like we'll get more info on Sprints version of the HTC One X, codenamed the Jet.

Wikipedia would have been a great start to search but oh well! Might as well have a spec sheet, wait??
Doesn't the start page for the nexus 7 reveal it's specs???????
Sent from either Galaxy S3 intl or Nexus 7
both on stock at the moment!!
You can read review of Nexus 7 here:

Current model doesn't support mobile networks so you can't use SIM card width it.

Correct, setcpu allows stock kernel to go to 1.3 on interactive but setting it to performance it maxes at 1.2. You can always just change the kernel or overclock too

Ubuntu

So who will be the first to port this to dinc. Looks cool and would try it out when available.

Dosen't ubuntu require a dual core processor?
It requires a cortex-A9. Technically there could be a single core A9 but as the A9 is a lot faster than the Snapdragon (scorpion core), there will be a lot of stuttering I expect.
And what is the point of who will be the first to port x product to y device posts? It doesn't really serve any purpose.
Personally, I don't think this port is going to even happen.
Ok was curious. Didn't know it needed certain specs.
