You should be able to download and flash them separately. That's what they're made for.

i am not good at this type of stuff ...so i always look for the easy way out ....
so I changed it with T2noobs font changing script ... not sure if he has it posted on xda or AF ... but I use it alot to change fonts ...just a thought
Every Time I flash this ROM I am in a boot loop. It won't load the system Im stuck at the guy stomping on the other guys head.

were you running a2sd ?
if so you probably need to wipe your ext file .....

I've had mine stuck on the bootscreen for about 20 minutes with another damage based rom. You can tell its a bootloop if the screen goes black for a second and then switches back to the boot screen.

I'm sorry if anyone is haven bootloop problems, as stated above the only time u will have that issue is if u didn't wipe everything and u were using a2sd ,thanx rvpartsguy for pointing that out, I put full wipe in the op I should have stated that also I believe I saw that b4 in the hero thread

I would probably just leave the choice to the person installing your rom.... as I use Titanium all my stuff goes back automatically .... but if not one of the first things I would download is an alternative browser ... in which I still use xScope
...so i would uninstall whichever ones I was not using ..... just my thoughts

Is there a circle battery indicator that shows percentage left or just a regular battery that shows percentage left? I want to use it with a sense 2.1 rom. Ive seen some for froyo and am hesitant to use it. Thanks

Thanks for the replies, however i do not want to reflash a new rom so im probably just going to go with that zip file. So steven, does it only go in 10% increments or any number? And are there absolutely no issues with it? Is it in sync with what setcpu says the battery level is it? Theres a ton of uploaded zip files throughout the thread, which one do you use? Thanks

Which Rom are you using? If your phone is rooted, I remember I flashed a circle battery mod once for 2.1 that went up and down in increments of 1% .. this is when I was running Villainrom 12
EDIT: I did some searching for you, for VR 12 I flashed the cd_battery_circle.zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7477040&postcount=51 .. give it a go .. remember Nandroid backup in case you dont like it, or its not compatible ..

On checking the framework.apk back up i have the images go up 1% at a time,
I have never had a issue with this,
I only have a backup of the framework.apk as my mate and i also make some custom images that were a nightmare to get working.
But with the Circle battery i just flashed the update.zip and it worked grand.
nijnvy & Steven_belfast. Thank you guys so much. Im running Kimera2.1 and flashed the CronosDroid zip file and its looking great so far. Hopefully no conflicts. The Cronos and Villain versions look pretty much the same in the screenshots so i jus randomly picked one to flash. I really appreciate the help
Well the cronosdroid one was stuck at 100% forever, so i flashed the villain one on top of it. works like a charm now

Next, find below the links to my most recent kang'd, lightened, and tweaked JB ROM with working sound, mic, video, and camera; albeit with the camera images rotated 90 degrees per usual (at least in the camera app I use). Please note that this ROM does not require the expanded system partition achievable with ACMEInstaller3; I still have ~60MB left after flashing this and the accompanying lightened GApps. I flash these with the latest TWRP and have the latest moboot installed. Hope these work as well for you as they do for me, but it goes without saying YMMV!
Finally, I've been focusing most of my ROM development efforts on the new Nexus 4, so updates to this, if any, may be far and few between, and only triggered by major problems or a major update to JB. Still, at this stage I feel our beloved TP's have aged extremely well thanks to the entire AOSP and CM communities and specifically to the likes of Green, Dalingrin, JC Sullins, Dorregaray, etc. who have and continue to make this all possible. So without further ado...

Haven't flashed anything on HP Touchpad since the first ICS release or so. Seems a lot has changed and I'm finding it hard to find the info needed. With these downloads waht exactly do I need to do? I have CWM recovery, but you mentioned TWRP I believe. Step by step instaling would be appreciated or if someone could point me to them. Haven't used the ACME installer in forever so I'd rather not brick it

Installed after installing TWRP and did a full wipe. It's been sitting at the android highlighting boot logo for 10 minutes easy. Any ideas?

What Rom were you running before hand ? Are see the same logo you used to see or is a new one?
New logo. I was on AOKP before. I rebooted it and tried restarting again. It sat at the logo again. I again tried to go back to recovery, now the unit wont even power on.

Sorry I can't help , I was hoping that it had deleted the old ulimage and was trying to boot into that.
You could try sticking it on charge and then booting into recovery to install the backup I hope u made or webos to check what ulimages are in your boot folder in case that is to full.

What did you do to reset it please ?
Noticed a camera app wasnt inluded, downloaded one and it opens but shows black screen like camera isnt connecting
Everthing else seems to be working smoothly
edit: nvm camera works, i just had to "take" a picture first to get rid of the initial black screen
In jb the camera is now merged into the gallery application.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to not have a boot animation and just show the code that is running in the background?
I'm not all for that fancy loading screens and stuff and it would look neat to see the running code during bootup instead.

Which rom u are using, Touchwiz, AOSP, AOKP,CM ?
and what do you mean no boot animation?
If you delete the bootanimation you will have a blackscreen while the device is booting.
If you mean the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) message before the bootanimation is starting then is the answer No, you can't remove that message.
If you want to remove the boot animation after this message while the device is booting then the answer is yes you can remove it.

What he is looking for is to see the commands Android is executing while booting, similar to booting Windows in safe mode. Over on the Inspire 4G forums one of the devs did this, and it wasn't well received. He slipped it into his ROM without telling anyone and they all thought their phones were broken. To make it happen requires modding the kernel.

My S5 died 1 month ago. Motherboard broken so i got new motherboard and replaced it. But problem is now that i forgot what custom ROM i had on the phone.
One thing i remember is boot animation. There was 4 vertical dots and one of them bounced on top of the other 3 dots.
Anyone know what ROM i talk about?
Please help me find the name of the ROM.

Wierd that nobody cant answer of what rom i talk about. Is it realy no one using a rom with bootanimation starting with Dots that DOT on top jumps on tree other dots below? I searched for this boot animation but cant find it yet and name of the ROM.

Hi man. It was RR. They changed the boot animation in the new version thats why i did not recognize it but now i found out on youtube that it was version 6 that had the bootanimation.
