HI
My S5 died 1 month ago. Motherboard broken so i got new motherboard and replaced it. But problem is now that i forgot what custom ROM i had on the phone.
One thing i remember is boot animation. There was 4 vertical dots and one of them bounced on top of the other 3 dots.
Anyone know what ROM i talk about?
Please help me find the name of the ROM.

Ye it does man but its not. I just checked RR 6 animation and its not that i talk about. Thanks anyway
Wierd that nobody cant answer of what rom i talk about. Is it realy no one using a rom with bootanimation starting with Dots that DOT on top jumps on tree other dots below? I searched for this boot animation but cant find it yet and name of the ROM.

Hi man. It was RR. They changed the boot animation in the new version thats why i did not recognize it but now i found out on youtube that it was version 6 that had the bootanimation.

hi bors i some days ago i bricked my n4 device now Im having prob. with its display! the buffling point is the problem is only in ui mod and when the android is lunching !
whats prob?! there is some clear white lines among pixels ! it makes my blood boil ! i tried all roms and kernals i could i tried all modems all bootloaders so plz dont give funny answeres
is there any way i can fix it?! if is how?!
saying again the prob is only when os is running

It could be a hardware issue, a faulty device.Have you tried a full factory reset, return to stock and see if the issue still persists:

yeap as i said Ive done all possible software solutions on the net but this occurs onl in ui (os running)
no issue in bootloader or start up

im stunned too I took it to garenty they told screen has not any prob! there is no burn pixel or etc! till tomarrow if i my self wont be able to fix it ill change screen by my self if it doesnt work ill change all parts till it works :|

when this occured i was running PA 3.65 now when i posted this thread i was using cm 10.2 09 nightly now im using stock because wanna hard break phone and return to garranty a question how can i hard brick my phone?!
Hey guys, currently using the Tmobile Note 4 (sm-n910t) and i absolutly hate the tmobile splash screen and was wondering if anyone has the stock animations for boot and shutdown and the audio files. Will much be appreciated!

Thanks, yea I posted this before any roms were out for it so I had no way of getting it unless someone with an international one had a way of going in and copying the qmg and ogg bootanimation/sound files over and putting it in a dl link. I plan on flashing it soon since I'm up and running with TWRP.

you dont need root or any custom recovery, only download the rom in samfirmware.com and flash with odin. its original and remove the bootanimation.

I'm looking for a zip file to replace the original Bootanim and shutdown of GN4 (for SM-N910F)
I've a ROM installed from SFR, and I want to keep it for the moment but I can't stay with the SFR logo when starting and stopping.

i have spent countless hours trying to install custom boot animations on my note 4 N-910G same doc Ketans rom 5.0.1 as you
set QMG files and permissions and still cant get it right!at moment have blank screen on shutdown and start????
perhaps i need to install as 1 zip instead of 3 X QMG & 1 X OGG but as i am new to this i can see that your post here is closest i can find to my problem and can only hope you can help me

Dont know how to just change the splash screen but there are many options, for example in the Supermanrom or the King ROM, to change the Splash screen also.
Or maybe flash your rom again without choosing the Sevenperience splash, maybe then you should have the normal one.
I actually didnt choose the option for the sevenperience. But i still got it. And im currently on renovate edge.

Then try to flash the newest compatible bootloader. Idk if it works.

I luv zuk z1 and i also install alll sorts of rom in my phone.
now when cynogen was shut i migrated from cm 13 to the nuclear rom 7.1. So presently i am using nuclear rom.
The problem is, if i now flash any other nougat rom such as Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 Nightlies,[OFFICIAL][7.1.1] Official Mokee,[UNOFFICIAL][7.1.1]Resurrection Remix-N v5.8.0-Zuk Z1
When i flashed these three roms the touch is not working
i wil explain, after falshing the first language setup screen appears then when we tap next the touch not working... but when hoding the power key the shutdown reebot option come.. then to shutdown if i touch on shutdown the screen goes and if touching some waht downward of shutdown it will shutdown
But i think it is not the issue of touch because after that i flashed cm 13 and nuclear rom again , no problem the touch works well
Anyone faced the issue ... pls help me

I had a similar issue, starting like you mentioned and becomes more and more. Then even in twrp no touch was working anymore. At the end it sent it back for warranty...
So Is it the problem with the touch screen .. ?

I have a really strange problem with my ZUK Z1 touchscreen, but only with ROMs with a build date after the 22th of Dezember 2016.
First I thought it's because I didn't wipe my phone fully before flashing the ROMs, but yesterday I tried it after wiping my phone completely.
But didn't work neither.
So after flashing the ROM and rebooting my phone, I "couldn't" control my phone, but then I realized that the touch reply was just in the "wrong place" like I touched in bottom and the output was in the middle of the screen.
I didn't have this problem before, and i researched all over the internet, if it's problem with the ROM but it doesn't seem so. Like I'm the only one with such an issue.
I hope anyone could help me.

It was the same for me. Becomes more and more and finally also in twrp the digitizer wasn't working anymore. I don't had a wrong calibration.

Few users reported touch issue solved after flashing Radi active kernel in N. Did u try latest NuceaRom or Mokee?

My understanding is that, something messed in upstream lineage OS, which effected couple of updates of NucleaRom and initial testing builds of Mokee. With the help of Radioactive kernel developers, thankfully Mokee managed to debug it.
Does screen issue happens in lower version of Android too? Like MM & L? if so I'm not sure this is going to help.

I flashed again the old ROM (October CM) and the touchscreen worked again.
I tried later with full wipe... Same problem.

Latest lineage OS doesn't have this problem. If you are still getting the touch screen issues, try NucleaRom
