First off I would like to thank everyone who tested and showed support to me, Derek and Brian, second of all the original thread for our ROM is HERE << this is where you will get the most support. Expect this in ROM Manager soon. More updates to come, I am still working with Drod to figure out the recent apps in the framework. Until then please enjoy this ROM and Kernels. They are all using the BFS and undervolted as low as possible without affecting waking. THEY DO NOT affect data. Please wipe before install. Thanks and more to come soon!

**************************UPDATE (04/03/11)**************************
Same version, the only thing that was changed, was the wifi module was incorrect. Same download link.
The wifi module being incorrect broke wifi, and wireless tether.
This version now also defaults to 998 MHz. Just because the kernel allows you to overclock to 1.8 GHz, does not mean you should, remember that

Bye bye GPS icon (bgill55)
Bye bye AM/PM (bgill55)
Hello 1.8GHz Kernel (Pre loaded)
Few more tweaks to the guts!
***************v0.2**************
Since there are kernel issues with CWM, the kernel w/ ramdisk edits I made will be uploaded seperately as a PG05IMG.zip. Otherwise,
I virtually made it meaningless (for now)
Ads blocked by default (NOTE: This will cause issues with words w/ friends)
- To enable adds, run the script in terminal emulator (adblock -on or adblock -off enables/disables respectively)
Sense/AOSP Lockscreen option
- To switch back and forth, run the script "lockscreen" in terminal emulator (w/out quotes)
lockscreen -aosp enables aosp lockscreen (reboot to take effect) lockscreen -sense re-enables the sense lockscreen (reboot to take effect)
System Read/Write or Read/Only scripts
-To use this, run the script "sys" in terminal emulator (w/out quotes)
sys -rw mounts the system re-writeable, sys -ro mount the system read only.
VM tweaks moved to init.d due to kernel issue
Tweaked the pre-loaded sysctl.conf tweaks
ACTUALLY changed the wifi scan and vm heap size to 180/48 respectively (don't dev drunk)
***********************************
Sysctl.conf support
init.d support
Ondemand gov tweaks
VM tweaks
Fully optimized
Bash and nano added
Wifi scan interval upped to 180 for battery
VM heap size raised to 48
More I/O tweaks.
A lot more I can't think of in the current non sober state I am now.

Correct, I've been using this ROM since yesterday with the built in 1.8 ghz kernel. This is an absolute phenomenal ROM! My highest quadrant was over 2800 right after booting up.
Cool!!! gonna give it a go..
Alright I'm in, will report back shortly.
BTW thanks for the rom. Tell Drod I live in St. Pete, if he gets down this way I would surely buy him a few bruskie's for his work.
P.S. Smith, what is a good economical max clock over 1k mhz if I just want to watch movies and get the best battery life?
I hope you guys enjoy. Let me know!
Hell yeah... Gonna give it a go before I go to work tonight.

Flashed this morning, love the Rom. Runs smooth and the battery life seems better imo.
If I could make a suggestion, I love the five row app drawer a couple of the other roms have. Maybe this could be added at a later update? That and maybe a transparent app drawer. Thanks for all the work that's been put into this!

Very impressed so far (quads 1637, 1714,v1677). Everything seems to be functioning, have to wrap it up for tonight, time to go downtown and get frosty. Will hit this forum up tomorrow. Nothing like going out and depending on your phone when you've just flash a new rom/kernel. But it looks good, I'm confident. Great work, thanks again.
I LOVE this rom! Great battery life, even tho I have it oc to 1.8

I want to know which is THE fastest rom available for the MT4G. I dont care about features or sense or whatever, all thats important to me is performance. Thederekjay can score 4200 with o/c, i can too. So please people, tell me what rom will help me achieve that uber score!
There are things even less meaningful than Quadrant scores, but there are only few of them.
Judging the speed of ROM by Quadrant score is about as meaningless as it gets.
You want speed? Overclock.
How much? As much as your phone allows, and as much as you're willing to go risking to burn your phone very soon.
What good will it do? Probably nothing.

Quadrant means little to nothing in the real world. It's completely and udderly bogus numbers to make you think you are getting what you want to get.
And here is a perfect example why. I under clocked my phone [768Mhrz] and still hit 2k+ on the Quadrant.

Give Faux123's Rom a shot. I can't quote quadrant scores at you because I don't use that, but I can tell you that it's one of the most stripped down, fastest Roms I've flashed onto my phone. And his latest kernel will let you overclock to over 2gig.

I would have to agree with you on this. The fastest rom is going to be the most stripped down rom capable of overclocking the highest. I tried this once and got pretty high quadrant scores. Prettty much any AOSP based rom is going to give you high scores though.
MIUI is my daily driver. I used CM and FAUX's Rom's but MIUI runs the best IMHO.
Also ran Unity and several others. Still, MIUI is the best for ME.
alright well thanks guys, im probably gunna try faux aosp rom and ill compare with my current cm7 nightly, ill also compare between thederekjays kernel and fauxs. thanks again
After using almost every single ROM, I can confidently say that when it comes solely to speed, FAUX's ROM is blazing fast.

Let me remind everyone that high freqs pretty much 1.7GHz+ aren't very stable, now 2GHz has a very high power draw and can cause the phone to lockup completely...MIUI/CM7/FAUX would be the top picks as the quickest ROMS, I use MIUI. It's very fast, the cpu governor/cpu speeds you use will also contribute to how quick a ROM will be...Use lower speeds and get more life, but less speed...Or more speed, and receive a shorter life span.
+1 for fauxs aosp rom and thederekjays miu rom w/ demon speed mod. I'd also recommend thederekjays port of preghostchili rom from g2 forums, it is way overthemed but stupid fast and full of built in tweaks and options enabled thru terminal. I myself use it as my daily and have hit 4129 on quadrant using tdj's kernel.

Why you so concerned bout the quadrant score, trying to impress someone?
From my fist to your face, enjoy.
If you like Sense try Virtuous Unity Beta and to make it faster try the No-sense script in the Desire HD forum to remove Sense launcher and other Sense bloatness. You can get it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=993475 and make sure you setup the lockscreen the way you want it before flashing the script because as of now the personalize menu doesnt work.

I think that's so...Sadly he feels High score=Speed/Perf, but it's really Speed=/=Quadrant score. It's possible to fake a score of 100000 if you hack quad, people have hacked it before. But quad doesn't actually tell you about actual real life performance, which I think matters more. If you really want more speed than just overclock, 1ghz is enough-but do 1.4+ and it's pretty much overkill. For the most speed use performance governor, 1 homescreen, and install no other apps at all and use no widgets. And make the wallpaper a sold color with no scrolling, and don't use any b/g accounts at all.
Why does everyone always get so upset when someone wants to focus on getting a high quadrant score?! He can do what he wants with his own phone and enjoy it how he wants. I used to be concerned about quadrant too until I realized I don't care that much about how fast a rom runs as much as how cool it looks.

I live in the real world and use my phone to do real world tasks. I care about 1 thing and 1 thing only. How my phone performs day to day.
If I'm taking credit card payments with Square and prepping an invoice using MobileBiz while also sending emails, making calls and sending texts to clients, or simply taking pictures and video of my 6 month old son, I want it to run smooth. No lag, no hang-ups. Just work. Plain and simple.
MIUI does that and gives me 1 day 22 hours of it. All while running 1017/122 Superbad.
If you people are concerned about how long you can play Angry Birds, go load up Quadrant and run your favorite fart apps while pulling 8000 in Quad and brag all you want.
Holy crap guys whats with all the hate?!?!? To me quadrant is a tool to define the speed of a rom. Whaf i meant is that the higher score u get the faster it is. So if Thederekjay got 4200 its cuz whatever hes running is fast and would.want the performance. I know that the rom isnt whay entirely defines the speed of the phonr but its a majot part of the combination (kernel, OC, governor, vm optimisations). I just wanted the fastest phone so that i would experience the less lag possible while on.my phone and playing games. I only refered to quadrant because it is tool for me to compare my phones performance while testing roms, tweaks, kernels etc. So no its not for bragging
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
YOU think it's not for bragging. YOU think the tool's results are valid info.
In fact, you're wrong, and the tool's results don't mean a thing, and the correlation between them and the actual ROM speed barely exists.
That's what most people tried to explain to you in this thread.

[Kernel KH3&KJ3]Red Nebula [sched tweaks, vm tweaks, ondemand tweaks][zipalign added]
This kernel does not support lagfix(ext4) at least not till I finish work on cwm and build in universal lagfix
Added Zipalign version (file ends in ZA)
Here it is Red Nebula v1.2 (kh3 and kj3 versions now). Its modified from boogs kernel (thank you for the use of your kernel as the base boog without it this wouldn't have been possible) with a lot tweaked and added. Quadrant for me runs around 2000 with it. I recommend cf bench by chainfire or antutu for benchmarking instead though as they have a lot more tests that matter in the android world and as we all know Quadrant means jack anyways. UI is extremely smooth and lag free and system is always extremely responsive.
Update:1.2 is released (pulled 1.0 and 1.1 all together) it includes a few more tweaks for responsiveness and helps out cf bench scores overall and lowers quadrant again, wtf quadrant. ;p
Remember this kernel is tweaked to give a highly responsive lag free device it is not built to get crazy high test scores as most of the tweaks I made improve overall i/o performance, disk throughput, java efficiency, and keep as much memory free as possible without going overboard killing everything in the background, a lot of the tweaks also will help battery life to some extent.
Also please don't request a lag fix version, I built one and it really didn't make much, if any, difference and that's with over 150 apps on my phone. Something about GB on the captivate seems to negate the effects lagfix normally has on performance so I left it out to simplify things and cut down on space in the kernel to save for future tweaks.
##List of mods(Updated)##
#tweaks to lmk keeps mem use down without going overboard
#aggressive version should keep mem free around at least 60mb
#swappiness is tweaked for speed when switching between open apps
#vfs_cache_pressure tweaks help improve overall performance but may require
a reboot every other day in the standard version to keep things snappy aggressive version shouldn't suffer as from this side effect as badly
#various other kernel scheduler tweaks
#tweaks to cpu scheduler(designed for on demand governor only)
#tcp/ip modified for speed and security
#other vm property tweaks improve speed and batterylife
#custom boot animation support for sanim.zip (KH3 still has no boot anim, sorry guys this thing is killing me trying to get working.)
#internal memory (SD) tweaks to reduce disk overhead and increase throughput
#added a new zipalign version of the kernel (the ones that have ZA at the end of the name it will zipalign all apks /system and /data that are not already aligned. just gives an extra little boost to performance.
note: I'm having problems getting custom bootanims working still for kh3, it won't show one so dont freak if you don't see anything after the att screen. It also helps boot time slightly if enough request is made I will post another version with the bootanimation re-enabled to the normal galaxy s boot.
##need to fix##
just bootanim support for now
##fixed in kj3 kh3 fix coming once I can figure out kh3's problem with me##

##Installation Notes##
To begin as always I am not responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data damage.
Make sure you disable lagfix if it is enabled before installation of my kernel it absolutely doesn't support lagfix and I don't want anyone ended up with a soft or hard brick for trying to flash over a lagfixed device.
Installation is straight forward download the Red Nebula zip attached below and flash through cwm as normal. The only thing to keep in mind is this will wipe all you init.d scripts but it does back them up to /sdcard/initd_backups in the new versions just in case you want to try re-adding any later.
I set it to remove them to prevent scripts already in place from messing with those included with the kernel. Also the kernel doesn't work for nandroid backups as with pretty much all gb kernels so far so please don't try unless you are't worried about bricking.
Also the installation does clear caches for you during installation but feel free to do it anyways afterwords if you want.
note about initial boot up lag: After boot when the system is loading your homescreens you will most likely encounter a small lag at first then everything should come up very fast after a second or two. This is due to the read ahead buffer tweaks I made. They are loading up more information initially and this is what is causing it. The reason for me going slightly more aggressive than the norm is after initial boot up overall read/write rates are dramatically improved over other values I've tried and it makes for a much snappier feel overall, especially when opening gallery, accessing large music libraries and opening file managers.
Feel free to ask questions and leave feed back.

you may include my tweaks and values in your kernels with credit given, I've spent countless hours researching and testing to get this project to where it is now. About 30-40% of the values used have been previously used by many others before but the rest I found researching manual/reference pages and some I found to work best through trial and error. The scripts except 99completed and the bootanimation script are my own work and while most are basic they are mine so please don't include them in tweak packs, kernels, and rom & kernel packages without permission.

Wow, some body use stock please test this kernel. I will try when I back to stock ^^!
Heres a few test screens. Oh and I forgot to mention ram usually runs between 158mb-220mb. It pretty much has the zram tweaks but modified to values I decided on after reading dozens of linux kernel pages. Some values you might find in other scripts but most arent.
Its also optimized for the on demand cpu governor and I recommend overclocking with tegrak to get the most out of my tweaks.

Tried that too when I was working on it still no luck. Only thing I could get to play them was the script from the old onix froyo kernel but the anim would just keep playing and according to logcat the ui was loaded completely.

Of course, I hate to give an eta but i'd say around a week and half and I should have pretty much everything wrapped up. Its been in the works since kh3 came out but I've spent a ton of time testing tweaks on it and the theme.
I posted a couple teasers of custom buttons and my battery gauge in the captivate themes post your homescreen thread if you want to check it out. I've been running it for weeks now and a few close friends have been lucky enough for me to put it on their cappy's for em.
Same as with the kernel ill be moving everything to a kj3 base as soon as the kh3 version is done.
Edit: I wanted to mention that I will be updating the first post to be a little more in depth of what the values and tweaks really do. Only reason I haven't is its alot of typing to really explain things properly and I hopefully should have some more tweaks ready in the coming weeks as I dig more into how the linux kernel handles things. I've came along way in understanding how the kernel works in the past few weeks but I still have mountains of information to go through.

I might just switch back to the old onix script and give it a try since its the only thing i could get to play the animations at all. I'm sure that will work though with a little tweaking to fit with the set up i used with the onix bootanim script.
Also this goes out to everyone I got kj3 all compiled just waiting on xpackage to let me know if its booting or not and I'll post it up for everyone, or if anyone else running kj3 that can flash asap and let me know if it boots or not is interested just let me know and I'll pm you the link to get it.
KH3 gave me fits on getting boot animation to work correctly. Just finally had to give it a timelimit eg: sleep 20 then kill it. The leaks after kh3 work better.
Also, the newer kernels will run on kh3, and vise versa
Makes for easy testing, flash it, not good? flash back.

I kind of figured it was a kh3 problem with the bootanims thanks for the info I'll also give that a try after I get done with all the kernel sched tweaks i'm finishing testing and researching. Next update should be about as responsive as it gets, I don't think there's gonna be much to tweak left after I'm done, and it should greatly improve on i/o rates overall even more than the first release.
Sweet, wasn't sure how things would go flashing the newer kernel leaks over kh3 so i hadn't tried it so I'll go ahead and give it a flash then and see what happens.
Update
flashes and boots fine but it still loops the anim non stop on kj3 and i left it exactly as you set it up for the bootanim boog. I swear this thing is just out to drive me completely insane! I'm gonna try a couple things and see how it goes and I'll post back asap.
update again
OMFG I love you kyuta that worked perfectly!!!! It finally stops when its supposed to lol.
I'll get it uploaded in a few when i get the last few things checked out and make sure all my tweaks are being applied properly.
Check OP for link to KJ3 Kernel! And to Kyuta and Boog I can't thank you guys enough for the help you guys are life savers.
KJ3 Kernel
I backed up the init.d file with root explorer (etc>init.d) and flashed through CWM. No problems. My boot animation worked (sanim.zip).
Quick run through several programs and long press keys working, BT working, GPS working (LOL, at as well as it has at 15ft accuracy).
So far all is good. I will run it tomorrow to see how is does for battery.
I am also running Illuminance 1.1 for the ROM.
CWM version is v4.0.1.5 with the kernel.
Boot scans seem faster.
I know signal is the modem but I am getting -71dBm 20 asu with the KE3 modem and Red Nebula kernel. It is 0130 here in Norfolk but that is the best signal I have gotten.

Glad to hear it and as DDNV pointed out at first things will seem a little laggy at boot and I believe this is mainly due to increased read ahead buffers, which would cause sort of a momentary pause since they take a bit more time to fill then the default but loads very fast after that initial stutter since its loading a lot more info at once, 2048k compared to 128k default. I ran alot of sdcard speed tests with different settings and this seems to be the best balance between high read/write rates and initial system start up lag.
In the tests I ran it was like night and day in read/write speed compared to other values I tried. Also in my gallery I have well over 1000 images icons, photos, screenshots, etc and with the buffer tweaks it loads all of them almost instantly when I open it and it use to take between 10-20 seconds with default buffers. I will add this to op so people arent thinking its just lagging for no good reason at start up.
Hey all .. I have been a registered user on xda for over a year now and after a really loooong rom trails, finally i have reached the best performance for our Desire Z .. Found the best rom with best setting so far
Whats amazing is that the rom is Sense 3.5 and it runs smoothly than any other rom i have ever seen even the de-sensed ones
p.s Before stating the roms i would like to thank all the devs over xda and other websites for the huge effort they put in these roms
I tried
1. MIUI
2. CM7
3. RunnyDoroid
4. BeatMod BlissSense Hybrid
5. LeeDroid_HD
6. Virtuous Unity
7. Virtuous Affinity
8. Virtuous Sense
9. Coredroid
10. InsertCoin_Vision
11. RCMix
And all ICS ports .. By far This rom with these settings r the best performance i have ever experienced on my Desire Z and i would like to share it with you .. So let's Start
Rom Name:
Android Revolution HD™ 7.0.2 - Thanks to Napior and Mike1986
Kernel:
RCMix v12.2 Kernel
Tried Virtuous Kernel too (Didn't notice any speed differences but if you want to go with the Virtuous Kernel its running smoothly ). Thanks to Zofox
Tweaks:
(What i installed not all available ones)
A. RCTweaks v2.0 (For All Sense 3.5 ROMs)
B. TouchPad Wake On
Lets go for the Settings
Using V6 - SuperCharger
I used the MegaRAM 2 w/512mb option 9 in this script (Reported to have some issues with gaming - try option 6 for gaming please)
Gives me around 145MB of free Ram with 53 Apps installed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OC - I am using Set CPU just for monitoring (Dont change the frequencies just monitor the CPU frequency and temp)
I am using governer - smartass
*If you decided to go for the Virtuous Kernel (go for screen off profile scary and the default governor SavagedZen - Both with the same frequencies 245MHz to 1075 MHz)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SD-Booster (for SD card speed) Setting 8192KB
VM Heap Tool - Setting 32m
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Used Swap following this tutorial (Thanks for masterismos for guiding me to the tutorial) - Used 512MB for EXT and 256MB for swap partition
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats all .. Hope this topic will help Desire Z owners to have a reliable, fast, stable and enjoyable phone
P.s if anyone got a better setting or an app i missed please tell me.
Note: If u got a USB mass storage problem when trying to hock ur phone to a laptop or a pc (the Only one i faced) - Use SD Dual Mount it will solve the problem like charm
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Benchmarks:
* With Antutu benchmark
* Using the above settings

I have tried your setup. And I have to say, something weird is happening. Whenever I try a game, after a few minutes, the screen goes black. The app is still running, because if I close the screen and open it again, there it is.
Any idea?
That never happened with me .. but try changing the V6 - Supercharger to option 6 that might solve the problem .. try it and get back to me
p.s it was reported by some users that some memory handling in v6 - SuperCharger does not handle games well (reported for option 7 up till now)
Whats your opinion about the overall performance of the phone?
Gaming Problem
I am trying option 6 now and it is running smoothly on Angry Birds Space with no problems .. Please get back to me as soon as u try it

Seems like that did the trick. Overall performance - WOW! 140mb free ram on a Sense 3.5 ROM. Never thought that was possible.
damn ... 3 days ago I tried every single ROM there is, and I really taught Virtuous sense is the one to go .. now I have to do it again (and I hate flashing cause of paranoia of brick, even though I do it by the book) .. guess I will try it if lots of you say only positive stuff.
what's the ROM's default CPU frequency ?
With this configuration, do you "lose" any messages? I often don't receive messaged with Sense 3.5 roms.

damn, I will need to go back to stock, cause my warranty is still active and the speaker is failing. and I was looking forward to this.
I know I had BIG problems with root, so before I try this one, are there any other faster root methods ? I know that there is 2 of them (ADB and/or Visionary temp root) but one would think that there should be an app for that by now .. ?

Yeah, same here. I fixed my speaker this morning, all eager to flash it now and rooted the stock again, but this really brings me down. are ROM makers into it, or is this the final version .. ?
with Virtuous abandoning their ROM (RC3 is the last version of quattro I guess and it's been a long time without even news on developing) it kinda sucks to know that everyone is slowly abandoning this phone

no, its just the stock navbar within the system ui, the search and menu soft buttons are inside of the system ui, just not linked to the navbar. so in theory, to add those 2 buttons, i would have to go to the xml files and copy the instance where the back button is but change all references to back/menu. I was going to focus most of my development time on these mods but the 3.0 kernel source was released yesterday so i am working on a custom kernel. This means fully working ics roms. I am adding overclocking to 1.9 ghz, and some governers, the usual stuff.

the highest I have gotten it to go [while being ULV'ed] was 1.35Ghz
after being pushed any higher is would freeze and bootloop
really badly. This was when the Thunderbolt came
out and it still had Gingerbread with custom kernel.
I was able to get GB up to 1.6 by overvolting but like I said. You can fry it. Now if I go up that high it locks up instantly. Tbh oc up to 1.9 won't do you much good except drain the battery or screw the phone up permanently.

Totally agree.
I think the only reason you should have it that high is the "wow factor"
Now having it Under-Volted just a smidge is what I have always used..
You can't actually screw up your phone from oc'ing it, only ov'ing. Worst case scenario, it gets hot, freezes, and reboots... And you're right where you were before. I'm running mine at 1766 right now, all of our processors handle over clocking differently
Edit: running steady at 1920
Edit: aaaand it froze haha. Test your CPU's limits, mines 1766, what's yours?

Everyones processor has a different amount of wear and tear, the previous owner of my bolt never overclocked past 1.2 ghz so i can easilly run mine at 1.7 ghz stable, the option for 1.9 is there for those who can handle it

You indeed can ruin your processor running oc. It was intended to run at 1ghz and running oc at any level over what it was intended will shorten the life of if substantially. Lets not confuse people about that fact. It can be harmful for your processor.

I agree that it can shorten the life of your processor and ware it but your statement made it sound like if you select anything over 1.5 will instantly kill your cpu. That can happen with computers but in android if its clocked too high for the cpu to handle, the kernel panic makes it reboot so your processor doesnt in fact "fry itself".

Mine runs at 1.2ghz stock, since the JB update. I believe that these cpus are actually meant to run at 1.2ghz, but were under-clocked when released. So running at 1.3 or 1.4 ghz is really not pushing it.

Hey guys, eskriminal here
There's been interest shown by some users of dorimanx kernel to use the profiles in stweaks of some specific people with success (e.g. myself, @rkoby13 and @infatality)
So this thread is here to provide download links for profiles with various goals/strengths, and they'll be indexed in the second post here.
The main profiles will be those of me and @rkoby13, though if anyone has a profile to share and it's found to be good, it may be included in op as well
Instructions for installing profiles!
1. Ensure the kernel version of the backup (will be listed here) is compatible with your installed kernel version.
2. Select the profile you want (generally you should try them out to work out what's best for you)
3. Download the profile, and copy it to /data/.siyah/ on your phone (from root directory)
4. Go into STweaks and ensure you're on default profile, then select to Restore your profile backup.
5. Reboot and check if it was applied in STweaks! Enjoy!
To all posting profiles: please do not include any undervolting in the profiles posted here, only those given by pm. If your profile has undervolting, copy that section of the default profile and paste it over your changes prior to uploading. GPU undervolting is permissible if not too extreme.
ANY OVERCLOCK MUST BE STATED CLEARLY IN THE POST CONTAINING YOUR PROFILE.
Profiles:
1. 9.40 - eskriminal - zzmoove heavy battery tuning - CPU Underclock 1gz - GPU Underclock/Undervolt
Soon to be expanded!
eskriminal's profile flasher! is here
credits to @dorimanx, I used his updater script as base because the s2 has stupid mount points and I couldn't remember what they were
to use it open up the zip and put your profile in the data/.siyah folder
I haven't tested but it *should* work fine
Reserved

>>>UPDATE: 26/10/2013
My DB folder above is updated with new profiles for backup/restore via Stweaks and for manual restore via replacing default.profile in data/.siyah/*
Details :Check it out before use:good:....note that profile is meant to be used with 9.43 official release by @dorimanx and I'm not responsible if your device blows up or you lose data or something if you will use it on another version of kernel
released. It's stable for me and it feels like :tank: :good:
Edit:...I have it perfectly stable and smooth with these settings...no SoDs freezes or such....:good:

Default profile, v9.40.
This profile is for anyone who wants a profile which is based on the stock profile but with extra performance. It intentionally doesn't use all the 'cutting edge' governors and io schedulers. Its meant to be fast & stable. Using tuned hyper wake & a tuned conservative sleep. Sio /noop io schedulers.
OVERCLOCK CPU to 1.4 GHz (voltages untouched)
GPU OVERCLOCK - 330Mhz (voltage raised for step 5 as it's a higher clock speed). Also minimum GPU speed is 160Mhz.
This profile is one I have been tweaking for about a month over various kernel releases. It is intended for the quickest UI (scrolling, opening apps especially) but without sacrificing battery (I get 5.5 hour screen time). It will not work well for gaming due to io scheduler used.
Not that it matters, but for anyone interested this profile gets over 5000 in quadrant & 12500 in antutu.

@eskriminal please let me know if this is not how you intended users to upload their profiles. I'm happy to edit my post & (even take down) my profile if you desire, just trying to help
Edit : NOTE: I use the 'force auto data & force auto wifi' options under the 'tweaks' tab. If anyone uses my profile then that will disable data while screen is off. You may want to uncheck those boxes in Stweaks.

@rkoby13, your setup at least working like a charm so far. Even Facebook app has lost its scrolling lag mostly. Curious how battery is affected by this "nitro-setup" ^_^

it's not nitro setup.....GPU quad core does it's job as it should at first place.....that's the place where boost comes out...:good:...GPU config is very important performance wise....at least for me.......you can oc your cpu up to 1.6 ghz and if you'll leave gpu set like it's set by default your scrolling & apps opening feeling won't be much better....so I pushed up last 2 gpu steps to 400mhz -1200mv and 440mhz. - 1250mv ....try to disable VPLL mode and reboot....you'll notice what i'm sayin'
