canot log in to Twitter app - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting an

Today, for some reason, my HD2 started problems with Twitter. I cannot log in to my account, even on the other Windows Phone 7 Twitter clients. I usually get a message saying that my account information could not be validated, though one of the apps displayed an error message about not being able to validate a token.
The account works just fine on an iPhone 4, Android phones, a Palm Pre and even other WP7 devices. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When signing into htcsense does anyone else get this error?.
I have got the phone signed into htcsense by creating an account on the phone but when i try to login via the pc this is all i get.
I receive the verify account email when i sign up using the phone but i cannot verify/login.
If i create an account from the pc same thing happens, receive the verify email but cannot verify/login.
Support told me to try different browsers of which i have tried IE8,firefox and google chrome.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's rubbish I have tried everything. Sometimes it says I have logged in too many times so my accounts locked. I can only make my phone ring sometimes. It sees 200 contacts but gets an error when tries to show them. I delete my account on the phone and add it again and either of those two things never work yet alone phone finder sometimes puts me in the ocean or says its disabled. Can't believe they are showing the ad on tv when it works for some people then the next day it doesn't work. I'm going to wait couple of weeks and hope I don't lose my phone because that service will be no good to me.

Emails wows

Hi
I've moved over from Winmo and I really like sgs but recently I've started having issuses with my emails. To cut a long story short, I had a problem with my handset which Vodafone kindly replaced with froyo 2.2 (previous handset had 2.1) and since then I've had problems with receiving email messages. The sgs is configured to connect to my work Exchange 2007 server and is set to check automatically (push) for new emails. I can go for about a day without receiving anything but yet my mailbox has new emails! I've tried different networks - I brought the phone unlocked, restarting, ending task ....... list goes on!
any ideas what I should do? I do sometimes see the error "connection error" in yellow at the top of the email app screen but it then disappears and start refreshing, again sometimes this does the trick and other times nothing happens.
please help!

If is set to check is set to check and that means that your server is not PUSHING email and on top of that your server doesn't allow SGS to check.
I have a Winmo phone configured as I can't rely on the SGS and that works 100% configured the same way!
I've also tried removing the account and re-creating which hasn't helped.
Could it be the phone itself? only 2 things have changed since it last worked, the hardware and the system software. We have other users using Android and its working fine for them
confused!
The stock samsung email is [email protected] Try K9 email from the market or try deleting your email accounts from the samsung app and use the 'Social Hub' app (also a stock Galaxy app made by Samsung) to add an exchange account as a 'push' type and see if that works.
How do I add the Exchange account to the Social Hub? Just try it now and all I see is my SMS messages but no option to Add an account, the menu button does nothing.
I will try K9 in the meantime
thanks
K9 have removed the Android version from their download site! any other ideas?

thanks mate but I'm sure our Exchange 2010 server doesn't support webdav. A note aside I think I know why the stock email client is not working correctly. What I have noticed is that when it does try and check for emails at the scheduled times, if for any reason it can't connect it stops and then doesn't re-try at the next interval, when I do a manual refresh I see all the "connection Error" messages popup at the top of the screen and once they have dissappeared, only then does it start receiving messages again.
any ideas?

Help!My Gtalk can't receive any message.

I just installed gtalk on my wife's iP4,and it turned out that could receive message from my gtalk on atrix, but mine could not receive any message from the iP4. Can someone help me?
Yeah, you should give her your google account username
I've given her my account name, and nothing's wrong with that account name.
Honestly I would drop gtalk and try pingchat. My wife has a BB and when we tried to use gtalk a month ago sometimes we would send messages that the other person never received. It caused some headaches (I missed a message with the grocery list). With pingchat there's the sent/received confirmation indicators. Gtalk does not have it.
check any computers that you have google logged into. I've noticed that if i start replying on a computer, messages stop going to my phone. But the first message always makes it to all devices.
Quite simple, Google Talk uses an other implementation on android devices (variant of XMPP). Therefore, you should be able to communicate with Google Talk to/from your phone to/from a browser, but when using other Google Talk clients that rely on pure XMPP protocol, it doesn't work.
So as said before, use an other IM then the default Google Talk.

I noticed this too, however I still do not receive messages sometimes even when I log off google on my computer.
thx guys i really appreciate ur help. now i just change to IM+. and u know these days it's hard to use google service in china, it sux really.
the most weird part was, when i started to use another computer client to send a message, my gtalk on phone can receive that message. but when i came back to GTalkPlus on the iP4, it failed. so ,it's all about the iP4 client?
We saw the same behavior on my Atrix and my wife's BB 9000, so it's not just IP4.

Exchange/Active Sync - Stops working ?

All,
I have a new Galaxy S II that is rooted, and has 2.3.5 (XWKI8) installed.
I'm having an odd issue with my work exchange account. So, I set it up using the default email client ... no issue. All works fine, along with contacts and calendar.
Usually by the next day (no specific timeframe has passed, it varies) , my email no longer syncs, and the email client keep popping up a "refreshing" message at the bottom ... constantly. email appears to no longer work.
Next, I delete the account, recreate it , and all works fine again until, the next day when the same symptoms appear.
Next, I deleted the account completely yesterday late day, and went and downloaded a paid version of Enhanced eMail, and set it up. setup perfectly and all worked just fine. Once again, the next day (just before noon today) my email halts updating and enhanced email shows the refreshing icon in the top right ... constantly flashing and trying to update. but no updates.
Any thoughts or suggestions ? Had always worked fine on my previous phone (iPhone 4)
Everything else on the phone works perfectly, but this is beyond frustrating to a guy who get/sends 300+ email a day.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have had a client call our help desk on more than the one occasion with his htc desire. I believe it to be an intermittent android issue that max not necessarily effect all handsets...

Hi
I had a similar problem with contact sync. Some contacts just did not sync which resulted in no sync at all.
Exchange ActiveSync is based on https communication. The commands are sent via PUT to the server. If they where above a certain size the server answered with error 413 and sync stopped (no error message on the device, I sniffed the network traffic on the server). Solution was to increase the UploadReadAheadSize in the IIS Metabase on the server running ActiveSync. No problems at all from then on.
For details on doing this on the server see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc737382(WS.10).aspx. (I have set the value to 500000).

[Q] Problem setting up exchange sync?

Just got my N10, and have been trying unsuccessfully to set up the device to sync with my office's exchange server. I am using the same settings that already work with my Galaxy SIII, but I keep getting an error message that it could not connect to the server. Anyone have any ideas?

Update; I spent about 30 minutes with Google tech support - the person helping me was singularly unhelpful. I'm checking IT issues on my end, and will try calling back later this evening to see if there's someone more knowledgeable available.

I had the same problem ... but a bit different ... I can sync all except my inbox... a paid app called Touchdown by nitrodesk works but I'm not happy about having to pay $20 to do what I've been able to do on my phone for over 2 years... This is old tech and should be baseline functionality for any tablet.
Let me know if anyone gives you the real solution
David
Sorry guys, But I don't see how this is Google's fault?
Exchange Mail is Exchange mail.
I'd be leaning on your work's IT staff to figure out why it's not working correctly via Active Sync.
One thing to check, depending on what/how you have yours set up.
My Exchange limits me to 10 mobile devices. Now I know that doesn't sound like much...but once you start testing ROMs, etc., that gets filled up quick.
So check and see if you have a limit on devices, and if so...clear out any old or unneeded devices.
My Mail also asks for Administrator permission. Before it'll sync, I have to drop down a notification and allow it administrator access.
(I can remotely wipe a device if I log into my account via our WebMail interface)
My guess is either too many devices or your naming schema/paths you're using on the tablet.
I had the same sort of problem with my Apple iTurd mini. S3, Nexus 10 and Desire all worked fine, but the iTurd did not. Logged into OWA with my laptop, went into options and then mobile devices and I removed ALL devices from there. Now my S3, N10, desire and iTurd all work.
More than likely an issue atteh exchange end. Some are also set up to only allow x number of deivces.
