i've made a hardreset via the bootloader on my hd2 and now when it has booted, sense crashes at the startup all the time and i can't see the device on the Pc (win7) i've tried to flash the dft rom again but i can't get no usb connection in the bootloader(wait usb) or the magldr menu(i have magldr 1.12). the led light is orange it's charging and it shows the menu of the connections for the pc /charge, htc sync etc... but even no connection. have i bricked my phone? :/
When you go to HSPL (tri colour) with your USB connected does it recognize your HD2 there?
no, it doesn't, when i connect the usb-cable to my hd2 and then connect it to the pc and go to the HSPL there is no usb or serial at the bottom, it is only white but when i got to the HSPL without connecting to the pc i have serial, does it matter?
Yeah that's like the most important thing. Have you tried a different USB socket/cable?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
yes different sockets but only the cable i have
Ohh well try use get a different cable. Ant old micro USB will work. I don't think there's anything you can do if SPL won't even recognize it.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
okay, i will try a different one, hopefully it works
have you reinstalled windows mobille device centre? sounds like the drivers are not installed correctly
Or Reboot PC, I had this problem, and freaked out. Till I rebooted my PC, and everything worked again.
The drivers wouldn't matter. The PC would still recognize the connection between both phone and PC. I actually never heard of this problem before. I only had a HD2 for 3 or so months though.

drivers do matter, i uninstalled the windows device centre then when you boot magldr it will stick and not find the usb, so yes drivers do matter, it was only upon reinstalling the drivers that it was found in magldr usb flash mode
yes i uninastalled wdc and no connection, i installed it again and it has tried to install the driver but unknown device no drivers found or device removed

Yes they matter for flashing this through MAGLDR and if you don't have them you'll get a RAPI.DLL error. MAGLDR isn't the same as the bootloader though. The bootloader should just recognize the connection. But obviously there's something wrong with the phone as the phone when in bootloader isn't trying to do anything.
Lol I fail at explaining it.

can i flash the windows mobile leo.nbh via the sd card?
i've flashed the artemis rom via the sd but there was winmo installed does it work when i have android installed?
Erm I don't really understand the question but if you mean can you flash the stock Leo ROM over MAGLDR and Android well then yes it is. Just rename it to LEOIMG.nbh and pop your SD card in and flash it. So you've flashed Artemis ROM already? I'd rather flash that as you still have HSPL and not SPL. But yeah you can easily flash the stock ROM via SD card and it will flash over Android.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
no i havent flashed artemis
i want to flash the stock htc winmo rom3.14
i have SPL-2.08. HSPL
Hmm flashing wp7 via the sd isn't possible, yet? am i right?
Yeah you're right its not possible. Don't think it is possible anyway. If you flash stock you'll lose HSPL and just return to stock which is 2.08.0000. If you do that and it fails you'll be stuck in the bootloader and won't have the ability to flash anything because you need HSPL to do that. So I recommend you flash a custom WinMo ROM from the SD card first and see if it works.

okay i'll try a custom rom, thank you
Any luck with this man?

Im also waiting for a response. My phone just shows SERIAL in bootloader. no USB signs at all. The phone charges on Android, but it doesnt load the SDCARD to be seen on windows. My be a Radio problem because when I try to flash anything from the SDCARD (holding vol down and turning on), the screen show the tricolor, then flashes really quick like in 1/4 of a second, then go back to the tricolor. its getting painfully annoying! Anyone with some sort of solution.

Im switching to nand rom,but my laptop will not huck up to my leo vire usb.....so is it poss to flash by bluetooth? Thanks
OP,
I'm going to assume when you use the term NAND ROM, you're implying that you're trying to install Android onto your device.
Having said that, what do you mean exactly that your HD2 is not able to connect to your laptop?
Are you not able to get "USB" in the tri-colored screen when connecting your HD2 to your laptop? Or has your laptop busted all of its USB ports?

If you mean your computer is not recognizing your HD2 while pluged in then this is fixable. If you are trying to flash a NAND Andriod ROM you need to hold down the power button as you turn on your HD2 until you see MAGLDR come up and then select NAND flasher then flash the ROM. You can not use the bootloder to flash a NAND Andriod ROM. Also the reason why your computer is not recognizing your HD2 in bootloader is when you installed MAGLDR to your HD2 it changed the drivers for your phone on the USB port you used to flash MAGLDR. So if you ever want to reflash a Wndows Mobile ROM you will have to use a different USB port or manually change the drivers on your USB port back to your stock drivers for your HD2. You can also try using anothet computer. If non of the above helps try anoyher USB cable yours could posibbly be faulty.

Right now my HD2 is flashed with WP7 using Magldr. I want to get rid of the WP7 and try android. But when I plug my phone into the computer the computer won't find my phone. Zune finds it just fine, but when I search for devices nothing comes up, not even unknown. I've tried different cords, different ports and I don't know what to do.

You should install hd2 nand toolkit on your computer it allows you to install lateat magldr and clockwork mod to phone when this is done you can install another rom to your hd2. If your phone is corrupted you may need to reinstall win 6.5 to you phone in order to install spl and new radio in order to get your phone working. Read up on it here on xda or check installing roms or android on hd2 on youtube in step by step guides hooe this helps

Hi alls,
I was using MIUI NAND Rom and one day, I would like to change to Sense based ROM. I firstly re-flashed (and partitioned) my HD2 but get stuck at "Wait USB ..." when entering Flasher mode.
I am using Windows 7 - 32bit, with Windows Mobile Device Center installed; ADB USB installed and working properly (Windows regconized my HD2 as MAGLDR).
It's weird because I used to flashed NAND ROM almost dozen times before. I also tried to flash back to WM6.5 and start over again, HardSPL is Oke, it still regconized my USB connection. But after flash MAGLDR 1.13, I cannot get Flasher mode worked. Already tried downgrade MAGLDR 1.11, still cannot worked.
I read all related threads. I tried different USB drivers (from Google, HTCSync, PDANET, EasyTelther) but no hope until now. It's very frustrated
Any body has encountered this problem ? Please help !
Thanks in advance,
Try to do task29.
And a real complete reinstall.
Task 29
Magldr
Cwm
Then Rom
