Okay so I had my myTouch rooted, and the only problem I have so far is that it keeps restarting on its own. I called up the guy who rooted it, and he told me that I needed to wipe my phone to see if that might work. He also told me that a factory reset won't work, and said something about taking out the battery? How do I wipe my phone without harming the root?
Through a custom recovery is the only way I know. Although I'm sure you can do it with terminal or via adb from your computer. Try Googling it.

Quick question.
Giving son my bravo and need to change the Motoblur settings, Manual says to go a factory reset.
I rooted it with superoneclick and it has stok Froyo on it. If I factory reset it, will it still be rooted or will I need to re-root it after?
Thanks,
It'll keep the root.

I dont have twrp or a custom recovery installed. How do I revert back to stock? (I want root gone and the market gone) My computer or adb is not recognizing my KF.Sigh Can someone explian to me how I can remove and reinstall the drivers?
The one thread I found was from Nov and I'm not sure if it was up to date or not.
Thanks

Please give me suggest, how can I get unroot zip for Galaxy Tab 7.0 - P1000 gingerbread 2.3.3 ?

There is an unroot option in super one click
U can use that for unrooting
If you used super user app, than delete it.
Or do a factory data reset, but you will delete everything.
Factory data reset only reset data.
It won't reset system.

Go into custom recovery and factory reset then format data. If you have stock recovery just do a factory reset

I think "Factory Data Reset" under Settings >> Backup & Reset will help. Or, just flash the device and re-install the ROM you are using.
Follow the 'back to stock' guide and it will reload the stock ROM and wipe all data on the phone as well. You can then relock the bootloader and sell it
Wipe userdata partition through fastboot.
