[Q] Rooted bravo-factory reset - Bravo General

Quick question.
Giving son my bravo and need to change the Motoblur settings, Manual says to go a factory reset.
I rooted it with superoneclick and it has stok Froyo on it. If I factory reset it, will it still be rooted or will I need to re-root it after?
Thanks,

It'll keep the root.

[Q] Deleted but didn’t back up bloatware – should I hard reset?

N00b error...
I didn’t have the foresight to backup the bloatware on my Droid X in order to be able to update it later (to gingerbread) so now I’m hitting the issue of a failed install when I attempt update.
I’ve run a factory reset a couple of times but with no luck since it only reinstalls what I backedup. I also downloaded and reinstalled the bloatware I remembered removing from chad handy but after doing that it still fails on the update
At this point I’m looking for some options on what I can do. Will a hard reset work or do I run a big risk of bricking the phone? I’ve been poking around the threads to see what I can learn from others but I guess I’m needing a straight set of options rather than trying to mash together from parts of other threads
originally rooted with z4root but unrooted just prior to the factory reset
Android 2.2.1
system version: 2.3.340.MB810.Verizon.en.US
what version of android are you on? and are you rooted and what not?
my apologies

I did the same thing as the OP. I used Titanium Backup to kill stuff like CityID and Verizon Navigator. Now I'm stuck being unable to use the OTA as it checks to see if those bloatware apps are installed (WTF?).
Does a hard reset restore the ROM to it's original state? Or am I just SOL and should go for a custom ROM?
[edit] Still rooted using z4root 1.3,

You need to SBF to stock Froyo and update from there. If you want root you'll need the pre-rooted 596 leak as the stock GB is not rootable...........yet.

The easiest way to fix it would be to just sbf back to stock and then update. If you update ota you'll loose root.

Just like everyone is saying I went the sbf route. Worked like a charm and I'm now on 2.3.3
Thanks everyone

How can I get unroot zip for GT-P1000 2.3.3 ?

Please give me suggest, how can I get unroot zip for Galaxy Tab 7.0 - P1000 gingerbread 2.3.3 ?

There is an unroot option in super one click
U can use that for unrooting
If you used super user app, than delete it.
Or do a factory data reset, but you will delete everything.
Factory data reset only reset data.
It won't reset system.

factory reset MF3 while keeping SU and SS?

Sorry if this is a repeat, I've attempted to search but it appears that that XDA's search is down atm, at least for me. I'd like to wipe all personal data and apps off my phone and my end goal is to remain on MF3, be rooted and have SS installed. I have frozen apps on my phone right now, SS is installed, I'm rooted and I'm on MF3 And I was curious what would be the easiest method to achieve this.
Would it make more sense to Odin the phone with the MF3 recovery files, reroot and SS it? Or will the factory reset in the phone maintain the root and SS? and if I were to use the second option (assuming it does work) should I unfreeze the apps and refreeze them using TiBu?
Thanks for your input!

Safestrap will be on your phone until you manually remove it, I can't remember if root will still be on after a factory reset but its easy to root so no worries.

Alright so just use the factory reset in the device (settings>accounts>backup and restore> factory data reset) and all will be right with the world. thanks

can you guys direct me in the right place - need to factory reset

sorry if im a little off, I new to Samsung, always used htc.
how can I reset my phone to the factory default, thus losing root and all.
back on htc we used to just run the official firmware update but I am not seeing that for this device,
thanks
Depends what firmware you are on. If you are on MF3 you can use supersu and full unroot then factory reset.

Directly in the app on the phone, then reset in settings?
Also will I have the option to re-root after updating to 4.3
Thanks
Odin back to stock MF3 and
re root , use the Supersu pro and enable Survival mode and take the OTA Update. It will keep root
